Have been a long term customer until nowThe prices continue to go up, service options for same costs dwindle and the service is interrupted$113/month for digital tv and no HD channels, no DVR, no movie channelsMB internetNegotiated it done to around $a month but then they have tried to increase it twice this yearPlus, there is something wrong with the outside lineWhen it rains, everything either stops working or cable reception fades in/out or we lose local channelsSecond month in a row
After speaking to a person Saturday about another increase and dealing with bad customer and technical service, I found a better deal with Comcast for slightly more than WOW was offering with our "discount"
Today I called to disconnect our service and was verbally abused by a man in that departmentHe grilled me about why I was leaving, said I should have asked for more things with our service when negotiating and I repeatedly said I just want to disconnectPeriodHe said so your leaving because you aren't getting a free DVR? I said no it's because of the pricing and techical serviceThen he said so you weren't telling me the truth about the DVR? I lost it! How dare he call me a liar? Who does he think he is?! We had service with with for a few years and since the service was not good and the prices were extremely high we decided to switch to *** we cancelled the TV part of service first and just kept the internet and phone until *** could schedule an install for that part So when we got the internet installed from ***, my husband went into the office on 10th St around Aug 2nd or 3rd(during the first week of August) turned in all of the equipment and instructed them to go ahead and disconnect ALL services They gave him a receipt showing what all he turned in Unforturnately, I cannot locate the receipt because I didn't really think I would need it So they are still charging us saying that the service is not showing disconnected Now for them to print us a receipt they should have some record of the equipment being turned in or locate the footage on camera where my husband came in and turned in the equipment I refuse to pay this bill for $because of neglig

Upon the purchase of a new home, we wanted to transfer our WOW! internet service to the new location
Unfortunately, WOW! is not available at the new location At the time signing up for service, the representative told us that there is not fee if transferring or if service is not available at the new location
However, they are charging us the $early termination fee for disconnecting service at our old residence anyway

Contractors cut my cable line during a road widening in front of my house at *** ** *** *** *** **I called the WOW service # and was put on hold for minutes I finally got to talk to someone who transferred my call and again I was on hold for more minutes, another person came on and told me he could not handle my call and that it had to transferred to a Georgia call center, again I was put oh hold for another minutes I finally told the call taker about the problemHe insisted he could not fined the account under my wife's name and that I needed an account # which I did not have at the time They eventually found the account By this time I was very upset at being put on hold and attitude of the call takers, They said it would be days before they could fix the problem I run a rental business from my home and I believe days to fix a cut line is totally unacceptable Plus now I am paying for service that I no longer haveI also feel that the long

In November I called to inquire about service and was told my bill would be under $including internet, cable, equipment rental, taxes, fees, and *** because of a special offerI set up a time for WOW to call me backWhen I was called, I was told the special offer was not available, but they would honor the pricingSince then my bills are $180+ despite the promiseI have called monthly to have my bill adjusted and been told each time a new case was being opened and the matter would be resolved within two weeksFinally after the last time, I was called back and told that there was no way WOW could honor the original offer and my bill would be $140.00+I am not asking for anything more than the original offer of an all inclusive monthly bill of less than $In February 2016, WOW representatives acknowledged that I was correct about the original offer

Called to cancel my service with this company and they wanted to charge me $to cancel even after finding out the cancellation reason is their faultI am paying $44.99/month for 30mb of wireless internet but after running speed tests, I found out that I was getting mb and not my My *** or television would not connect as well as my fiancé and I had to disconnect from the wifi on our cell phones because it couldn't load anything

We placed a call with WOW for service on October 29, We were instructed that a technician would arrive between pm and pm, and we would receive a call an hour before they arrivedThe time came and passed with no calls and no one showing upWe figured the service call was never placed and we would call again when the internet started acting upHowever, when the next bill arrived, there was a $charge for the service callUpon contacting WOW Customer Service, they refused to take the $off the bill because their GPS system showed the technician arriving at our address eight minutes (6:PM) before the end time that they where suppose to arrive (PM)The technician’s truck might have been in the area based on the GPS, but no one ever came to the door or called and no service was performed

Going through the executive reponse it was learned that since they could not fix the modem issue they unbundled me and charged me $more a month, this after it went from $to $179, so I said rebundle it and why did they remove me There answer was they could not I guess, she was going to give me knew bundle, that matches it But I am missing some of the only channels I watch, and I don’t have much free time, so I don’t watch much Channels & Golf, & Hallmark, & & Sci are missing
Then around June I called because the little Black box you use with older tv’s went out and was about to catch fire, so they gave me a new one, but the Tech said I didn’t have to use because my TV was newer, he was correct so I said well you can take it back and quit charging me $for it, and he said I have to have it for every tv and pay, even though it ‘s not plugged in

Wow sent a technician to my house on 11/to install new cable serviceThe techno asked me where I wanted my lines run and pulled out my entertainment hutch and we agreed upon a location behind the hutch which would run through the wall outside of the house where all other cable lines etc areHe did not do this and I did not authorize where he ran my cableHe put the cable line feet further and right above our outside water hoseAnd inside the line is sticking way out from the hutchI have been told this can be corrected but have yet to hear when or how as a supervisor still has not contacted meI'm very dissatisfied with this service and am looking for resolution
