I signed up for WOW internet one year ago at a rate ($25/month) they claimed would be guaranteed for monthsAt the one year (month) mark, WOW has suddenly and without notice increased my rate by $to $month claiming (incorrectly) that the promotion I signed up for would be at one rate for the first year and a higher rate for the second yearI have tried multiple times over the last week to resolve this discrepancy with the company directly, but have either been ignored or met with people who don't seem understand or care about the issueI don't know if this is simply an oversight on the part of an understaffed company or something more malicious

About a year and a half ago we had WOW! internet and cable and due to their high prices we decided to switch our serviceSo we called to have them come and pick up the receivers and remotesThey gave us a pick up time and told me to put the items out side on the porchHowever they never came to pick up the itemsWe called again, and again they gave us a time and never came to pick up the itemsThen about a month later we get a bill that says we now ow them over $again I called and they said they would come and get the materialsThey never showed up again, the next time I called I asked to talk to someone in charge and explained to them how frustrating this wasNo one ever called me back and the next notice I received was that we were being sent to collection because we never paid for the equipmentThis is such a scam, we have reached out to have the equipment sent back to company yet they wont come get itMy husband even offered to drop the equipment off and they said

I have tried since 11/17/to contact Wow to deactivate my internet serviceI have left at least recorded calls to the executive officeALL have never been returned The billing error shows additional $for other services, I only have a one internet modemNO PHONE NO TV THis billing is wrongI am a senior citizen and I mailed my check in and again the account is charged a $excessive feeReally? I would like to express my EXTREME dissatisfaction with the WOW customer service
On 2/27/16, a WOW sales rep knocked on our door and shared with us about switching our internet/cable provider to WOWSalesman, J***, told us that we could have Ultimate cable package, DVRs, Starz, Encore, unlimited phone, and 30Mbps of internet for $We were shocked as that was way more than our (at the time) current provider for much less moneyImmediately we said yesOn the PINK "New Customer Sales Order" sheet he wrote all of the prices with $

My first bill came around March 6, and it was for $I was extremely disappointed but called the toll free number immediately and spoke with R***She applied a new discount to our account and brought our bill down to $before tax I was satisfied

I signed up for WOW internet on 11/1/and was told I have a day period to cancel the services for any reason, and I won't owe any moneyI cancelled my services on 11/22/and mentioned that I am cancelling due to not getting the desired speed I am paying forHowever I received a bill on 11/28/for $Upon receipt I immediately called Customer Care and spoke to a representative who told me I would owe this money even though it was committed to me their is day trial period
I would want to dispute the charge as when I was told I won't owe any money if cancelled within days of service why it is that I owe this money?

I had WOW internet phone service installed recently.Despite numerous attempts to repair,my internet never worked right.I decided to switch back to my previous providor.When I called WOW to cancel,they said that there would be an early termination fee.The invoice I have says the early termination fee will apply after days.I had the service connected on 3-24-2016.I called to cancel today (4-19=2016)The operator said the days started when I first called them.The salesman also verbally told me there were never any contracts with WOW.Guess he lied.All I want is to not be charged an early termination fee for something that never worked anyway.They had 3-attempts to repair and could not.Thanks much.*** * ***

I cancelled my account with WOW due to a move the end of May On June 1, I received a final bill stating that I owed in equipment that had not been returnedThe total amount due on the bill was WOW states that the equipment has been returned and has been removed from my account but still say that I owe them If the equipment has been removed and the charges for the equipment were $I should only owe them $and I am fully prepared to pay that amount immediately

Inconsistent or interrupted or diminished Internet service ISP has, of late (last months) repeatedly NOT provided consistent performance Days can go by when service slows to a snail's pace, or just stop, or NO INTERNET SERVICE! WOW used to be a good cable company
I am in a condo complex where I have been getting WOW service for about a decade
The problem is that WOW has carelessly, negligently allowed wires to stick out of the ground in an unsightly way throughout our condo complex consisting of buildings
Further the wires exposed and running out of the ground and WHERE PEOPLE WALK, is a hazard for tripping
While Comcast has come out and fixed wires for our condo complex, those customers with cable service have not been so fortunate I called and made a service call for WOW on June THEY FAILED to show up
I left a customer form which explained my complaint on their website It was ignored
I called customer service AGAIN (the 1st time was prior to June 10), today on June The customer service hung up on me
This is just plain poor service

I owe wow a bill of but they are saying I owe and I don't see how but I ask them if I could pay payments and they told me no they wanted it in full paymentBut yet they will allow this girl named *** *** put cable and internet in her name by *** *** at *** *** *** *** *** under a fake name but yet I am not allowed to make payments on my accountSo since I can't make payments then I want my account cleared and I want them to do something about *** *** having cable under this fake name because her real name is *** *** but they are telling me they have no account under that name and that is a lie because *** *** left her old bill in the trash and I found it so I can prove she does have it in that fake name

I switched to WOW as a referral from a peerThe service was set to be installed 3/at 6:PMOur technician arrived at 7:PM and remained in our home well after PMwith the cable run being left exposedAs it was too dark to bury the cable properly I was understanding that the job was to be finished at a later time.(At no point did the techs explain that they would not be the individuals completing the job.) I been having problems with my internet for a long time I keep reporting I am having high ping problems and no one would listen to meSo I tried to keep upgrading the speed and having different technicians out here using different modems etc and saying everything is fine
Then a few weeks ago again I went though troubleshooting steps again that went over of resetting the modemOnce I did this I lost the internet speed I was paying for and still getting high pingI called up wow and they sent a technician out He said everything is fine on my end and it is something in the networkSo I waited a few days then called up wow again and the repetitive was clueless that it was not documented and needed send another tech outSo I ask to speak to a supervisorThey needed to send another tech out because it was not documented or somethingSo after the second tech came out, did the same thing as the first tech and said the same thing as the first techI called a supervisor who said

I have Wow cable/internet services I receive a bill every other month with late fees After numerous calls, I discovered that Wow cable set up a fake account which I did not authorize The first bill will be sent the fake account Then the 2nd month, WOW will send a bill with late fees I have contacted WOW several times to ask them to stop this practice I never authorized WOW to send my bill to a WOW email account ( I used a gmail account which they have as well)

We have had a horrible issue I have my bedroom was destroyed during install and my service has only got worse I'm on my 4th cable box and I have gotten text messages with physical threats and wow won't discuss my insurance claim I need help I keep getting stone walled and to make things worse they have a exclusive contract where I live so I can't get internet anywhere else and I have two children who take online classes I have been to the wow office in *** ** on numerous occasions with proof of messages and they don't care not to mention they signed us up for $a month and charge us another $a month for equipment and we was never told this
