Issues continue with my Phone, Internet and Cable and I am now going into my fourth month of re-occurring incidentsThe Internet and Phone connectivity is not available throughout the day and disconnects at all times of the day I work from home so this has been very disruptive and has a high impact to my daily activities If you work from home, I recommend you pursue another provider besides WOW
I am not able to make or receive calls from my residential phone, the Internet disconnects throughout the day for hours at a timeThe HD channels, the On Demand Channels and on several occasion all the cable channels do not display and cannot be viewed The company has replaced cable modems, reset the modem, re-adjusted settings which were incorrectly set, replaced cabling, increased the lead time, shut off a power save feature in the modem that was incorrectly set, rebooted and adjusted ingress from a source who they stated "should not have access"

WOW cable installed a cable line vertically across our front yard which violates easements set aside for all utility companies In the process of installing this line outside the easements they destroyed our front yard

I have been struggling with this company for a number of reasonsI signed up with WOW! in and have had my rates rise and rise ever sinceI understand that to some extent, that is the scam of cable / internet companies which we all have come to expect, however when you couple that with their dated equipment and unfulfilled products, it creates a much more frustrating scenario (I am currently getting 5mbps as I type this out, where I pay for 100mbps down internet speeds)I ended up getting to the point where I no longer wish to use WOW as my provider because they simply are not doing their partAlong with the dated hardware, in the past months I have experienced multiple outages that take up to hours to get a hold of a rep to diagnoseThe past nights, I have at least lost my internet connection or dropped below 10mbpsWhen I am paying for 100mbps, I expect at an absolute bare minimum 60mbps wireless from a 100mbps wired connection (I have tested this on multiple devices

I'm an IT Manager and our families' lifestyle is centered around high speed internet access with one member building a *** TV streaming brand requiring high speed uploadsMy family of was considering moving to a lake community but only if we could get high speed internet accessThe family was very concerned about this and would not move if this was not the caseWe contacted WOW and they said we could get 500Mb download and 50Mb upload with no download limitsThis was perfect for our needsIt was an upgrade because we were getting 200Mb from *** where we live and we're in the 1.5TB download programThis is a top tier program where you have to pay moreAgain, they confirmed that not only could I get the 500Mb but that there was no download limitsFor some people they spend money on travelling or golfing or sailingWe spend money on getting the best internet we canWOW is the only internet provider in the area and this is critical to my case

I was a customer of WOW for approximately years I work from home and my service was not working so I contacted them for a service call They gave me a window of time on a Saturday a.mthat the tech was coming He never showed I waited all a.mand I had to contact WOW to find out what was going on They told me that he was running very late and was not going to be there for several more hours They did not contact me I had to call them I decided I had enough of dealing with this unprofessional company and paying for service that wasn't working And told them to cancel my service immediately paid my bill in full and went to another carrier They are now charging me an early termination FEE!!!

Outage for my WOW Internet and Phone began sometime during the day Wednesday, 9/7/ I was able to use my neighbors phone the next morning to try to get a service technician out to fix the problem I told them that I could not wait all day because I had to leave for work at noon No one came that morning and I was able to call them back to schedule a service technician between 9am and 11am that Saturday (9/10/16) The service technician came out and replaced the modem which corrected the internet issue I assumed he also checked to be sure the phone was working too, but later that day I tried to use my phone and there was no connection As I only have email available to me to contact the internet provider, I sent my first email that same Saturday letting them know that the phone service was still not working As I had not heard anything back, I sent another notice via their email submission to let them know I was still waitingI received my first response from them on 9/13/

At the beginning of August, a tree fell over and knocked down the utility pole on our backyard, taking down all utility lines, including the WOW hard lineWithin hours a new pole was installed but the WOW lines remained down
The first repair team that arrived for WOW was within a couple days; the cables were somewhat temporarily attached to the pole but remain hanging very low thru my backyard
The utility lines run through the middle of my backyard, between the house and swimming poolThe temporary hanging hard lines are only about feet above my backyard
To date I have been in contact with your representatives, multiple times, and have had a couple technicians visit only to state they would have a contractor out to repair soonTo date there have been no contractors; one *** crew was nice enough to do a temporary re-hang when they were here for other repairsThe lines remain hanging very low across my backyard
