WOW is dishonest in their business practices After ending my service with the company and paying the FINAL amount owed as told to me by two customer service representatives, I was sent a bill a month later for more charges for a service I no longer have

For the past five days, we have had intermittent internet access (it started when there were technical issues with node that provides our service)When I called today, I was told it could be our cable modem, and it was suggested we purchase another one, and if the issues continued, a service call would be placed
After purchasing the new cable modem, the issues continued and we called to schedule a service callWe were told the soonest someone could come out would be in four daysWhen I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was first told, immediately, that none were availableAfter I insisted, I was told they would look for oneThat took minutesI was then told that one was found and they would connect me right awayInstead, I was put on on hold for another minutesNobody every took the callI had to call back on my wife's phone, and was still told I would have to wait four days to have a service callFour days with intermittent internet was the best available soluti

I have made many, maybe telephone calls for a variety of issues with this company The most recent is a repeated call about taped television shows not being played back The technician that last came, a month ago, ignored my request for NEW equipment and a new dvr machine

I Have lived here in Grovetown Ga for the better part of the last years, for some reason Grovetown only allows one cable service provider to operate with in city limitsI lived here when it was Charter Cable and now its operated by WOW cableIn the years that WOW cable has owned and operated the services in this area, the service has been less then desirable, almost deplorableThey are pretty expensive (in relation of what you pay for what you get) in comparison to other service providers like comcast and their services are spotty at bestIf you have an issue that requires a technician to come to your residence it is an automatic dollar service feeIn the last months the cost of my services has risen times, once because I upgraded my serves and twice for no reason other then they felt like itWhen you call them with an issue, you are speaking with someone who isn't even in this country that you can barely understand (please don't take that as I am being racist, but in the end, in order to be able to convey the fact that there is an issue, both parties need to be able to understand one another.) All in all, WOW cable needs to get their acts together because you are not getting what you are paying for not by a long shotmy opinion of them is just wow, really?

I'm having billing issues with WOW internet I've been with WOW internet since I've always paid my bill on time and the service always had problems I'm suddenly moving to a different state and asked to cancel my service and they will not wave the cancelation fee One of their representatives stated that the fee will be removed due to the fact I had such bad internet service during my seven years with them The cancelation fee is $and they still refuse to cancel the fee What is $compared to the $1,I've paid them over this period of time with awful service Please help!!

We were shopping for business phone services for our companyAfter checking around with a few providers we decided to go with WOW! Business because they quoted us the best price The sale representative quoted us a bundle price of $stating it was the cheapest/best deal After agreeing to the price the sales representative emailed a contract for us to sign When speaking with the sales representative he repeatedly told me that our recurring monthly bill would be this set price, so we signed the agreement and had everything installed Understandably our first bill was higher due to installing and setting up servicesHowever our next monthly bill was not $186.96, it was $more than the quoted price I called the accounting/billing department and was told there are fees & surcharges that are issued to each phone line every month, so in fact our monthly bill would not be $a month it would be $a month I asked why the fees were so much, why we were being

Wow's automated system would not accept my payment, so I hung up and called back, only to have both transactions accepted by wowNow they will not refund one of the payments, then they claim it will take 3-weeks and then I will owe another payment so, they won't do thatI suggest you never use their automated system and probably should use another cable service

Technician broke my dresser and picture framesSupervisor stated they would cut me a check for the value of the dresser and framesThen over the weekends on Monday he was not decided Supervisor called on Tuesday and then stated he was only going to pay to have it fixed someone would come to pick it up on Friday almost weeks laterSo I would inconvinced again by removing all of the clothing and place them where on the floor no thanks you

On the phone I told *** the customer service rep I would agree to a
year commitment if they lowered my billThey didn't lower my bill and I see on my invoice this month they have me down for a year commitment!!! SO DECEITFULThey have you listen to a recording that breaks up so you don't hear all of the content but you have to verbally on the phone agree to the commitment to get the monthly rate lowered for internet serviceI'll be paying the $to get out of their
deceitful agreement

I just ended my minute marathon with their multiple Customer Service departments trying to get my service/billing disconnectedThe final representative spoke such broken English I couldn't understand anything he saidFinally, through the coarse-Indian-dialect I heard him say my service would show as disconnect on my next billSo glad to be done and rid of WOW Internet
Over the past year of service with them I've had my billing charge change without warningService broken for multiple days at a time - and I work from home on the internet sometimes so that was a huge issueTrying to get them to credit the days without internet was hopelessTheir customer service is a travestyDo yourself a favor and go with someone else

This company was a nightmare to deal withI had the service for days and I received a bill for double for monthly charges compared to what I ordered I do not drive after hours on the phone to cancel the service, they finally agreed to come pick up the equipment the following dayI waited at home the whole day and they never showedMy daughter took a half of day off work to return the equipment and ensure the account was zeroed outA month later I received a bill for $with a charge of $missed appointment fee (they were the ones that did not show) and a $late fee for the erroneous charge I called times and they refuse to credit back the charge They lied about rates to seem cheaper than other cable internet companies but ended up being much more and horrible to deal with

WOW charged us $a month beginning December 5, to July, for a modem WE owned We contacted WOW immediately upon realizing this WOW acknowledges this happened and the total incorrect charges were $ We are excellent long term WOW customers and spent almost two hours on the phone to give them the opportunity to correct their mistake WOW has refused to reimburse us

I had been having internet connection problems for several weeks and called WOW! technical support on more than one occasion One support technician informed me that my cable modem - rented from WOW! - was not the latest technology He said that I could buy my own modem and the rent saved would pay for it in 6-months So that's what I did The new modem I purchased has helped quite a bit I returned WOW!'s modem on March 5, 2018, and I have a receipt
