Accidentally shipped wrong book to CHEGGThey are now saying that they never received it and refuse a resolution

Have been waiting almost a year (9/28/2016) for my payment and they won't fix the issue
On September 28, 2016, I sold of my college text books to Chegg Upon receiving the check I noticed that it was made out to Robert Morris University (my school) instead of me I called them and have been trying to get it fixed still to this day (August 9, 2016) They have reissued a number of check and each time told me that the problem would be fixed, but it was not They have told me that they can not do anything other then issue another check, but can not guarantee that it will be made out to me

I sold my books back to Chegg in Dec 2017, they supposedly mailed my checks on Dec 27th, It is Jan 22, still haven't my received checks

Charged credit card with an invalid expiration date on an account that had been cancelled a year previous

I cancelled my tutoring membership in January adays after I requested it but the company kept charging me
I went online to cancel my membership in January but the system did not recognize the cancelation although I followed the stepsI am asking for a full refund because the company can look online to see I did not use it and clearly the system ha an error and did not recognize when I cancelled itI just realized today I was being charged since January and when I contacted customer service they said they could not refund all of the months and to file a fraud complaint with my bank to receive a refund but that is not acceptableI should not have to file a fraudulent claim with my bank if it is clear I should receive the refund

Baseless charges for services
I signed up for the subscription service but my daughter never used it They kept billing my credit card for $per week When I complained, they offered a credit for minutes for free My daughter asked algebra questions online I figured it would take their "expert" tutors minutes per question so we would be within the minutes they offered for free These scam artists charged me $for responding to those algebra questions I repeatedly complained and asked them to cancel my account and stop charging my card The person who we spoke to said the account would be cancelled Never followed through and never sent me a cancellation # Instead more than a week after I requested they cancel my account, they hit my card with another $charge I don't see an end to my nightmare dealing with these people
These are scammers and con artists and please do not subscribe to anything they offer

Contacted Chegg Customer Service to Request a Refund and the Issue Was Never Resolved
I have purchased multiple subscriptions for the online tutoring and study question services provided by CheggOn several occasions, I have experienced issues with receiving incorrect and incomplete information from their employee tutors and proceeded to contact customer service to re-mediate the issues with no successChegg has made commitments to rectify these issues in the past, but I have received no refund due to poor communication on their part

After doing a lot of business with Chegg; I am shocked at how I was treated by the company
I made an order for on August 16, (***) that I immediately had to cancel due to using the wrong form of paymentI was told that there would not be an issue with doing that and that my card would be credited back the pre authorization amount placed on my card (approx $292.00) would be credited back to my Discover cardI continue to watch my Discover Card account and to my shock, a legitimate charge was placed to my Discover Card on August 19, I figured that it should be a simple fix so I contacted the company via social media who then emailed me and told me that there was no way that a legitimate charge was placed on the account by Chegg and that the only way they would be willing to refund is if I provided a statement to the representative (***)I go about sending the statement to *** from my Discover account to which he replies that he is only willing to credit the account

I cancelled my subscription to the "study" service in DecemberApparently it did not go through, but I didn't notice until my next billing period in JanuaryI had to call to ensure that the cancellation actually went through this timeI requested an email confirmation that my membership had been cancelled, but apparently Chegg does not provide confimation through email, only through your account pageThis makes it more difficult to have records of cancellation, as the only option is to screenshot the account pageChegg seems to deliberately make it unclear whether your subscription has actually been cancelled

Hidden fees for rentals When you try to contact customer service all you usually get is an automated message saying how great they are and how easy it is to take care of billing problems They then tell you are rep's are busy to leave a call back # for which they may or may not call back If do reach a person all they do is give you the run around while telling you how easy it is like the message saidThen they will recommend you sell them the book back later But if you look at reviews for that many people complain about their buy back program as well
