Complaint concerns nonpayment for a book I sold to ***
In late August, 2018, I sold a book (The Lovely Bones) to *** According to UPS tracking, the book was delivered to *** on September 11, However, ***'s website only lists the book as "in transit." *** promises to make payment in days following receipt It is now November 5, 2018, and I have yet to receive payment for the book An e-mail I sent to *** went unanswered *** is being unjustly enriched by getting to keep my book and not make the payment it promised

I would give this site a of star if I could I keyed in an ISBN number for a book that I needed (and wanted eBook) I found the book via internet search - selected them and was directed to their website It came up the same ISBN number so I paid for the eBook When I opened the book the next day it was the wrong ISBN I called them and spent 30+ min on the phone The woman I spoke with agreed with me after explaining what happened that there was an issue She stated that it would be fixed in 1-days, at which time I would have the wrong ISBN removed and the correct one available I waited the days and it still was not fixed I called again and was told that management determined that it was my error on the day I called He stated that it was either my fault or the browsers fault I then asked why no phone call He stated he didn't know - then asked why I hadn't called the day before....!! Um, because I was respecting the timeframe that I was given!! I will never give this company my business again and home other's heed this warning

I have always rented my textbooks from Amazon but this semester one of my books was only available to buy on Amazon but Chegg offered rentals which were cheaper so I decided to rent from Chegg for the first timeWhen the book arrived I noticed immediately that it was missing pagesIt was a lab manual and it was missing the 2-worksheet pages at the end of each labIt was also COVERED in writingI contact Chegg who promptly sent me a replacement copy and a coupon for 10% off my next purchaseWhen the second one arrived it was also missing half of the worksheet pages!! To top it off Amazon and the campus bookstore is sold out until after my next lab so I now need to see if I can photocopy a classmates labs so I can do next weeks labs!
