I recently chose to sell two tickets to *** *** *** (taking place October 5-7th) on Stubhub because of “The Stubhub Promise: Trusted by people worldwide, Stubhub lets you buy and sell tickets safely and easily” and the “Fan Protect guarantee: We back every order so you can buy and sell tickets with 100% confidence”, which is displayed all across the Stubhub websiteI purchased my tickets directly on the *** *** *** website which is managed by *** tickets  I listed my tickets on Stubhub, they were purchased within the hour on September 20th, and I shipped them to the buyer the next dayI received confirmation and payment for the saleHowever, one week after the event I received an email that the buyer claimed they were unable to gain entry to the event because the ‘tickets had already been used’ and Stubhub requested that I provide documentation to prove otherwiseI immediately reached out to the venue, which confirmed no one ever attempted to scan my

I purchased two tickets to *** *** who was performing on my friends birthday on *** ***He canceled his spring tour due to knee surgeryStub hub will not give a refund of the ticketsThey will not give replacementsThe spring tour was CANCELLEDI would like a refundI have no need for summer tickets as my friends birthday was on *** ***, hence why I bought those ticketsAccording to stubhub guarantee "get valid tickets to any event or your money back"These tickets are NOT valid for *** ***According to their policy a full refund is given is the event is cancelledEven if this is rescheduled for a later date, it's not valid for the original dateStub had said they would try to sell them for me, but this doesn't help me since there's no guarantee that they will sell and would be months from now before they sold if they didI want a refund now

Purchased tickets for a concert on April 23rd to *** *** (order #***)On our way to the concert they said the double sold our tickets and would upgrade us and gave us a new order (order number #***)The new tickets never came and we waited outside the venue for hours while we chatted with a representative that eventually told us the tickets did not come through and she would refund us the moneyNow, several weeks later the refund still has not come throughIn summary, StubHub double sold our tickets, never sent us the new ones we promised and then never refunded our moneyWe put out substantial money getting to the venue but did not get the tickets they promised, then I have spent hours on the phone just trying to get the money back and still have notOverall, the worst experience with a company I have ever encounteredrepresentatives have now told me they would refund my money in 3-business days but that has come and gone and I am still out $***! The

I purchased tickets on Stubhub for a football game we intended to attendWhen it became apparent that we would not be able to go, we decided to sell the tickets, again on StubhubThe tickets were to be available by 12/16/I still do not have them; I consider the By date to mean they will be delivered on 12/15/17, so I have them in hand at the beginning of 12/16/They interpret it to mean before the closing of 12/16/This is the first misperceptionI used the iPhone app with which I purchased and then set up the resale of these ticketsStubhub makes it appear that it will be streamlined to do this, and that they will be handling the transfer of the ticketsThe transaction provides default values for the sale, some of which you cannot changeI used these defaultsI have sold the tickets, and there is a screen for the sale that indicated I had "Tickets in hand" by 12/15/I in fact do notThis morning, first thing 12/16/17, I enquired as to why they are not yet delivere

On 6.30.*** I listed ticketsOn 7.02.*** I received an email from stubhub stating that my sale was cancelled " Because you let us know that you couldn't deliver the tickets you sold, this sale was cancelled." And...."As a seller, you’re responsible for delivering tickets on time and as promisedWhen that doesn’t happen, you may be charged an amount generally equal to 20% of your ticket costTherefore I was charged: Charge Amount: $*** I immediately relisted the tickets because I wanted to sell themI got my credit card statement and sure enough I was charged $***I contacted customer service and they said that the sale because I did not deliver the ticketMy problem is that I did not even know that I sold the ticketsI was never notifiedThey were electronic tickets and of course I could have sent them to the new buyerMy other problem is that when I contact customer service they do not listenThey keep telling me that I was charged because I did not deliver the tic

I purchased tickets from their international department for a *** match in EnglandThe tickets totaled over $and said restricted so I was expecting tickets close to that value and maybe a post or net in my viewHowever, the tickets face value was about $and the view was nonexistent!! You could not see anything at allI believe this is price gauging and fraud as the tickets were falsely advertisedI spent the whole match chatting with Stubhub and my bank since Stubhub said they are the right tickets, even after I sent photos of the face value and the view! My bank is doing everything they can to try and recoup my money from this scamming website! Stubhub should be ashamed and not allow this type of markup on horrible ticketsThey need to do research on the stadium and the views they are “selling”They become responsible once they agree to sell themI also contacted Stubhub right after purchase to ask for a refund and I was put on hold for minutes and the operator came back and said, “sorry it just went through.” I assume they were waiting for the approval so they didn’t have to refund meHopefully this helps someone in the future!

I sent out tickets a buyer purchased at the end of April ***I informed Stub Hub that when I got the email confirmation of the sale, that they had the time listed incorrectly as 7pm when the tickets were listed by me as 10pmDays went past and the tickets were to be returned to me by the buyerThat is no problemThe buyer was to return them promptlyThe buyer waited and waited and took forever to contact Stub Hub backHe said he was waiting to get his new tickets from another seller, yet this had nothing to do with meHe was warned by Stub Hub he had to return them by May 11th or he would be charged for the tickets and I would get a refund of me of my buying price ($***)Stub Hub did zero due diligence on my part and continued to give him days upon days to returnThe claimed he wasn't near a *** store (year I lived the same distance from one that he did and I had no issue sending them) and also it was a prepaid label in which he didn't have to leave, *** could have picked

StubHub failed to communicate the change on date of a concert that I bought tickets forI bought the ticket on April-23rd for a concert that was supposed to happen on Apr-29thI received the tickets on Apr-I received emails from StubHub: First email: Apr-23rd with the order, Second: Apr-24th with shipment advise, and Apr-delivery notificationThe concert took place at the*** *** ** ***They anticipated the concert from Sunday (29) to Friday (27)Toyota Center sent the email to all ticket buyers announcing the date change, but I did not receive the email because I bought the tickets through *** I found out that the concert changed dates when I got to Toyota Center in Houston and found the doors closedThey have a clause that they would send the communication of event date changes, but they failed to send the communication to meI called/chat with customer service agents four times requesting my account to be refunded, but they refused***&nb

As a seller at StubHub, I expect, at a minimum, that it operates a functioning marketplace correctly displaying prices, sells tickets without deficiencies and errors and notifies sellers of sales in a reasonable timeUnfortunately, during a specific time frame, none of these occurred leading to significant financial damagesWhen communicating these concerns in writing with a manager, it appears this individual thinks my story is fabricated, despite multiple data points and screen shots indicating otherwiseWhen furnished with additional time stamps, in less than an hour and without actual investigation, the manager replied their position had not changedNevermind, I have a multi-year track record with StubHub without issueApparently StubHub would rather hire an attorney in my jurisdiction and get sued in small claims court where it will cost them 20x the amount of settling this matter than to deal with its complete failure

I bought a day pass for the Essence Music Festival from Stub Hub and on the 1st night of the event learned that the tickets weren’t any goodStub Hub could not replace the ticket for the first night of the event so they decided to refund my money for that night and told me they were issuing me different tickets for the next nights, I hung up the phone with them and checked my email to discover that they refunded my money for one of the tickets and then charged my Paypal an additional $for of the other tickets that I had already paid for, cancelled the other ticket (with no refund) and then locked my stub hub account........after an hour long conversation and the representative assuring me that everything had been straightened out I hung up againI then checked my email and discovered that I was issued tickets for night instead of 1ticket for each nightI also received an email from someone claiming to be in possession of these tickets and asking me to meet them somewhere to get themI called Stub Hub back and asked to speak with a customer service supervisor and was denied, the rep was very rude when I told her that I was entitled to a full refund due to their untrustworthy practices and insisted that she was going to fix this problem with the ticketsI told her I didn’t want the tickets I just wanted all of my moneyAfter being on hold forever she came back and told me she issued my refund, when I asked how much did she issue she had only refunded what amounted to the price of ticketI had to tell this rep that she needed to pull up the full order and subtract what she had refunded, what was refunded the night before, and the balance that was left still needed to be refunded to meWhen she finally understood this simple mathematics problem I was refunded my money and all orders were canceledI again asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that no one was available and I would be placed on a call back list(That was hours ago) hours later I received a phone call and an email stating that the seller for my tickets was trying leave my tickets at the event’s will call window and needed my permission to do soWhat tickets? Wasn’t the order canceled and my money fully refunded? This business has horrible customer service, incompetent employees, and untrustworthy people that are being allowed to legally scalp bad tickets on their website

On *** *** *** I two purchased tickets to Hamilton from Stubhub.com which after taxes and fees cost $eachThe website did not state that the seats contain an obstructed view and the website provided a photograph with a clear view of the stage to demonstrate what seats would be likeOn November 16, I picked up the tickets in person from Stubhub's office on *** ** *** *** ** *** less than minutes away from the theaterI checked with them to make sure that these were not seats that had an obstructed view and an employee and a manager both provided me with assurance that the seats did not have an obstructed viewI can provide you with both of these employee's names late, but I realize this specific statement may be posted publicly online and I don't want to invade their privacy in this mannerThey stated that if I got there and my view was obstructed, I could call the office and they would provided me with new seatsWhen I arrived at the theater the

I purchased two tickets to a show from the StubHub websiteThey charged me over $*** in fees (nearly 20% of the ticket value), with no explanationTheir fees are not clearly marked on the website, and were not clearly stated upon purchaseIt was only after purchase that I received an itemized receipt, though they were just listed as "fees" with no additional explanation for why they are so highThe amount is unreasonable and predatory

I purchased tickets on *** *** *** *** *** *** Beyonce concertI never received those ticketsI called on the 25th to get the ticketsStubHub could not locate these ticketsThey gave me tickets for other seats at the same venueI went to the venueGot inWent to the section and the seats were covered with a tarpWe moved from seat to seat the entire concert without ever being given permanent seats from First Energy Stadium or StubHubThe seats that were given to me were not available to be sold and should have never been soldI want a refundStubHub wants s to give me a couponI wish to never again in this lifetime purchase another ticket from StubHub

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a ticket purchaseMy event was postponed over a month agoWhen I called Stubhub, they informed me the event would be moved to a year laterWhen I expressed I couldn't let them keep my money for a year, they offered to give me a credit for StubhubThis is robberyI paid for tickets for a specific event for a specific dateThey are going to steal $from meI do not want to see another artist or wait a year for an eventTina D in East Gramby informed me I could write a letter and mail it to the corporate officeThis is ridiculous that I have to go through this much trouble just to keep my moneyThe money is not going towards what I originally purchasedIt is going in their pockets & they are trying to force me into something I do not want, like purchasing tickets for another eventMy next step is to seek legal counsel

I am very disappointed with stubhubI have been a customer for years and always buy my tickets through stubhubI tried to sell some tickets (which this is only the second time I’ve sold any) and apparently listed them in the wrong format and am now being charged an outrageous feeOn top of that, the buyer has a copy of the ticketsSo not only have I possibly lost my tickets, I’m also getting chargedI called customer service and the manager I spoke with was extremely rudeI explained that I did not intentionally post my tickets in the wrong format and ask that the fee be waivedShe said that she couldn’t do that and then said she would reduce it by 50% bc stubhub also made a mistake, but that was itShe admitted that stubhub made a mistake as well by telling the buyer they would get the tickets Friday, but the email said that I could deliver them by SaturdayThat manager would not give us her name again when we askedI believe it was *** from when she first introduced herself

I bought tickets on StubHub about four months agoI sold them because I thought I couldn't goI did this by calling customer serviceThe girl I spoke to listed the tickets for sale and I downloaded the pictures I received from the original seller and uploaded them to the new listingWhen I found out I could go a few days later I bought new ticketsI received a call from StubHub the day before the concert telling me that my tickets were not available and that I would have to accept different tickets from the sellerI acceptedI called the next day to ask if the tickets I had printed out were the correct tixketsI did this because there were only two sets of tickets on my profile(all in the same place.) According to the girl I had printed out the tickets that I had soldAnd she told me that the new tickets I had to get had not been sent to me even though I had received an email saying those were my tickets and the person I spoke with the day before said my tickets would be uploa

I listed concert tickets for dollars each, I sent the tickets with the ups mailing lable stub hub sent me, a few days later I get two emails saying the buyer received the tickets and anther email saying the sale was cancelled and they were applying a fee of dollarsI called stub hub and they said I was late with the tickets, nothing online when I listed those stated there was time constraints and since the concert was months away I would not have thought it a problemthey proceded to charge my credit card 64.00, I told them I wanted the tickets back but were unable to produce them from the buyer who got the tickets, I then asked if other tickets were listed and I checked the website under sellers tickets and the site said I had no tickets for sale, I asked the lady I talked to to remove my tickets because of my disatisfaction I get my credit card bill and they have charged me again, now 64.00, and a credit of 32.00, when I called them they said a late fee for the othe

NYC Broadway TicketsDO NOT BUY FROM STUBHUBBought amazing tickets to see Harry Potter and Cursed Child Traveled to NYC just to see this showPaid 2X+ facePick up at Stubhub outlet hours before the showTalked direct to Stubhub at least times in advance to make sur ethe tickets would be there, including stopping into the outlet the night before the showLater that night I got the callthe seller didn't really have the ticketsBut the seller was 'willing' to offer me crappier tickets at the same price After hours of escalating and complaining to Stubhub, they gave me a discount But I still had crappy tickets (by that night, no more seats were available) No more Stubhub for me

A friend of ours had a problem with her stubhub accountThis issue was resolved however ever since anyone associated with her or associated with someone near her is getting locked out of their accountsI personally have tickets I can’t access, even though I’ve paid for them, and they refuse to unlock these accounts! We’ve shown proof we’ve fixed the problem but they won’t acknowledge itWe can’t call them because customer service says they don’t have phones that take incoming callsWhy am I being locked out because I know of someone who had an issue? We’ve done nothing wrong and we are should not be held responsible for someone else’s account! I am DEMANDING *** AND *** get unlocked ! If I can’t get the tickets I paid for or if any of the tickets I now have become void they are in essence stealing from me!

They charged me*** dollars for a sale of tickets I did not post on my stubhub account and never didThey claim I had tickets up for sale on my account that I did not post on my accountI notified stubhub once I received an email saying the tickets were soldI notified them so someone wouldn't get tickets that don't existThen they charged me *** dollars for cancelling the order, there was no order and no ticketsIt was either a computer glitch or fraud but they did not seem to think soThey need to be concerned with possible fraud or computer glitches so they can fix them instead of accusing a customer of something they said they didn't do
