Stub hub charges a ridiculous fee of 40% for cancelling a sold transactionWhen I called and spoke with a customer service representative did they mention a possible charge or wouldn't have gotten involved with this companyI was doing a favor for my daughter to sell her single 3-day pass plus shuttle on the siteI listed an incredibly low amount not knowing there true valueI got a message that the item had sold & my wife had sold the itemI want to cancel the said sale as human errror is prevalent in all of usThe c/s cancelled the transaction no issueI received an email that I was getting charged $for the tixI listed the ticket to net $and valued at $So they were listed initially at and I adjusted accordinglyThe item sold I believe for like $I chatted with stub hub and said the the 40% is value of tix40% would be have sold tix at $I never listed a pair and the $wasn't the list priceIt's bad business not making a 40% charge not known or clear in global agreementAn inconvenience fee is $or $bucksPeople can live with that but not making such exhorbitant fees known is unfair practices
Stub hub misrepresented ticketsThe sold three tickets together that were only for wheelchair handicapped individualsWhen the confirming email showed for the first time that the the three tickets were handicapped seating, I called immediatelyStub hub refused to reverse the chargeThis is fraudIt goes against their own FanProtect GuaranteeThey mailed the tickets and they have been returned, certified return receipt

StubHub.com is refusing to give a refund for tickets to a cancelled *** *** concert at *** *** in ***, **I bought tickets to the June *** *** concert at *** ***I personally called *** *** and verified that the concert has been cancelled and ticket sellers have been informedRegardless of this, StubHub.com refuses to offer a refund for this eventI paid a total of $*** for these ticketsOrder date was 3/25/***Order number is***I ordered these tickets online at StubHub.comThe tickets arrived by e-mail and I downloaded and printed them
I've never had such a bad experience on a website and with a "Supervisor" on a callHe stated that I received emails that I never received and said I should check with my Internet Provider and Email? That is ridiculousThey do not send proper notifications that would help sellers in making smoother transactions and then charge a ridiculous amount and put the blame on the sellers or others when it doesn't go right I asked if he can assure there was an email sent saying that the Ticket was Sold and he said yesTHERE WAS NO EMAILThere was no open sales tabI've used it before and saw all of those thingsBut not this timeThey are LIARSThen he tried to turn it around saying "Well those emails are only courtesy emails" They are very unprofessionalAnd I can see why there are so many negative reviews and complaintsI've never had to write a negative review about a business before until nowAt 95% NEGATIVITY, that says a lot I will never be selling on this website again
I had a similar issueI accidentally sold a ticket on StubHub which had already been sold StubHub is now charging me the 40% for replacement tickets (somewhere around $250)AND there are replacement tickets for a similar price ON THE STUBHUB WEBSITE So in the end, they have a replacement but instead of charging me the smaller $fee for the difference in price for the tickets, they are charging me the MUCH larger feeThe buyer is paying full price for the ticket and I am paying another half price for the ticketThis means StubHub is receiving $and only delivering $(the price of the replacement ticket) worth of tickets to the buyer And in effect, I will be paying a $penaltyThis may not be a big deal for a large corporation, but the difference in that price really effects my life
It is perfectly reasonable for a penalty to be charged since it was my mistake But it seems nobody would want to risk such a high penalty, and would be scared off from selling on StubHubShouldn't you charge whichever fee is lesser? The difference in price or 40% of the value of the ticket? I can only assume that others, like me, are not reading the fine print How is this a fair business practice?
I purchased two tickets on Stubhub to a concert in September When I arrived at the venue, the tickets that I was issued when scanned displayed that they had already been used to enterI tried to call Stubhub, however, their office was not open as it was the evening on SaturdayI contacted Stubhub the following week and was refunded the exact amount that I had paidThis was a great inconvenience since I didn't receive the product that I had paid for and was left outside a venue with my wife and no tickets to the eventI accepted no resolution until I recently and accidentally double sold tickets on Stubhub, and when contacting (well ahead of time) them to let them know, I was charged an additional penalty for the mistakeI was told the customer would receive some additional compensation and when I inquired as to why I was not given the same, was told that I should have been and this would be followed upThere was no follow up and denial of the discussion from managementThe
