I have a new laptop purchased Aug 25, from Office DepotI have been having problems with since the day after I received itIt will work ok for a day or so and then freezes on the main screenIt will occasionally load and give me a screen saying it did not load properly and I can restore or continue anywayIf it loads to main screen when I try to open any program it says windows is not responding, it may take longerI called Dell support and was on the phone for over an hour, then stuck because a person was doing screen sharing to resolve for over an additional hourTelling me problem should be fixed but still absolutely no resolution

Our organization is tax exempt, with all necessary certification On May 9th I made a purchase from Dell for a Ink toner cartridge They charged us $tax on this order I sent then an email to their tax dept with the necessary tax exemption paperwork and asked that the tax be refunded They replied that the names on the order and tax certificate didn't match I then called and explained to *** ***, a Dell tax representative, that our legal name and the name of the site the toner cartridge was shipped to are different but they are the same organization He then assured me that he understood and would work to get the refund processed It has now been over months and there has still been no refund issued I received an email on Tuesday from *** stating that because of a name discrepancy between our tax exemption certificate and name on our order the refund has not been issued I was assured that this issue had been resolved! On May 20, 2017, I ordered a laptop computer, wireless mouse, and speaker system at dell.comA couple of days later, I went online to check on my orderI noticed that, instead of my billing address, the Dell online system had incorrectly listed the billing address as *** ***, *** ***, *** ***, **, ***That day, May 22, I opened a service request with Dell (***) In my message, I indicated that I needed the invoice changed so that I could submit a correct invoice to my insurance company for reimbursementThe reply from Dell stated "After reviewing your account I see that your order is in production and we cannot make any changes in the order."
Once the order arrived, I contacted Dell by phone on June 2ndThey assured me that the change to the invoice would take only a few more daysI contacted them again by phone on June 13th and was told that the problem would be fixed "within hours." I attempted to buy the Alienware Alpha for their advertised price but whenever I tried to add it to cart the price jumped $
when I tried to chat with someone from their customer service team he said he couldnt see what I was seeingI sent him the link I was using....Dell's actual websites, and he told me that he was getting something elseNot true, or possibleI sent him a screen shot which he claimed to not receiveI asked him to send me a screenshot and his did not match the link I sent himHe the sent me a doctored screen shot that showed the same address but on a different pageNot only did he lie to me but he faked evidence to do it

I cant believe a company would do this and I disgusted that such a big name would do such a dirty thing

I guess I'll join the long list of people with bad Dell experiences I bought a top of the line XPS laptop and it cannot consistently connect to the internet Sometimes it downloads a website fine, but the vast majority of the time it is either very slow or fails completely It has failed repeatedly when I have another computer sitting right next to it that works just fine
Their customer service is also poor They had me send it back, which was a real hassle (unloading the hard drive, then being without a computer for several days) They replaced the wireless card and sent it back to me, and it didn't work any better than it had before I've spent an enormous amount of time dealing with this and so far still have a computer that doesn't work
Don't buy a Dell!

My computer was forced into Windows upgrade from Windows The upgrade caused my wireless connectivity to drop and reconnect constantly so I cannot use my computer adequatelyDell said they cannot help since my computer warranty is for Windows and that I should use the internet to roll back my computer or I have to pay for service As a consumer I don't feel that I should pay for service or have to do self-help when I did not voluntarily make the change When I requested a ticket number for my case so I could add to my Revdex.com complaint the Dell tech released my call

I filed a warranty request with Dell on June 05, for my Dell XPS to be repaired as the spacebar key on the system is not working properly

It clearly showed the specs that the device had a cd/DVD drive playerIt is common practice if a device has the cd DVD drive player you ought to be able to watch or listen to cd DVDs
No computer I have ever owned ever that had cd DVD rom was not able to play a cd DVD rom

I bought DEll inspiron laptop last may and it had one year warranty which expired in may my laptop hard drive went bad and it was replaced as of march and after months its went bad again and I was advised if the replaced part goes bad again dell will replace it free of cost and now dell refused to repair it free of cost I called customer service several times and with no luck they keep giving me run around I need either my laptop repaired with no charge or replaced free of charge

On 11/I purchased a Black Friday deal on Dell`s web site and received a confirmation via email that my order was confirmed $was deducted from my Bank of America bank account on the same day The next day I called rushed to add my apartment number as in my rush of ordering the previous day, I forgot to include my apartment number The person I called in Indai said he would update the address and call me back I never received a call I then received an email that my product was shiped Then the same day I received an email that my order was cancelled I called Dell the next day and they told me that they could not get UPS pacakge to be delivered to me that UPS refuses I took time away from my work and send a few hours trying to get through to someone in customer service, I just kept getting people in India who did not want to help They hung up on me several times and were very unprofessional There was simply no way to contact Dell consumer relations I searched

Dell will not honor the poor quality craftsmanship of their repair that has gone bad days after they supposedly fixed itI believe the technician either did not do his job well purposely or coincidentally that it was days prior to warranty expires and the warranty work is only good for days so it appears I was bait and switched with shoddy repairs to fraudulently stiff me with a black screen computer which was the sane issue they supposedly fixed!??

I was sold a laptop computer with a Free TV I didn't pay too much attention to the bill However, it is tax season and I asked for a opy of the bills One was for a TV I was told free TV Why do I have to pay for a Free TV I am currently on the phone with DEll they want me to return the FREE TV I want a credit of from my account
