This is the third PC I have purchased that is a Dell all three quit functioning properly before a year eve passed Each time they were taken to a computer tech to run a diagnostic and each time it was always an issue with the hard drive which is covered by Dells warranty Each time including this time upon contacting Dell via the phone as that is the only option to contact them, their technical service person with out even having the computer and through asking one question automatically finds the problem to be a virus and or software issue which is not covered by the warranty and they have not done anything to the PC nor even seen it They come to this conclusion by one question what is your computer doing They never send a box to ship the PC back to them so they can do a real diagnostic on it and they do not care that you have evidence from a diagnostic already ran by the computer tech where the PC was purchased that shows a hard ware issue They do what ever they can so not to
