I purchased an Alienware Rfrom Dell for $2,on 2/5/ Shortly after receiving the laptop, I noticed intermittent issues with my internet connection when I used a wired connection After some troubleshooting, I found that the cable was loose in the RJreceptacle It would disconnect and drop the connection if the wire was moved in the slightest way I called Dell's support number and they finally agreed that it was a hardware issue They agreed to replace the motherboard since the RJreceptacle is attached directly to the motherboard (see dispatch number [redacted] ) I was hesitant to have anyone work on my brand new $2,computer, but agreed to the repair on the phone The service tech arrived to make the repairs Thursday, 3/24/ I demanded to see the motherboard so I could tell if it was worth tearing my computer apart I wanted to make sure that a cable felt more secure in the replacement motherboard than it did in my computer While checking the pins

Hello, I am reaching out to you today in hopes of resolving my on-going issues with my Alienware 15r The system is less than months old and has already been repaired twice I understand that the return policy is days, but if you would take into consideration that I have been in contact with Alienware and dell for weeks trying to get this computer fixedThat would put me under the 30-day mark I had a technician visit my home, on Friday March 16th, He replaced the motherboard, heat sink, and wireless card As well as re applied thermal paste and new thermal pads The computer is still over heating and reaching temperatures that are above 90c Also, the track pad on the laptop does not work at all now since the repair, and the fans are kicking in at random times when the computer is sitting idle The system is defective The technician him self said so, and I witnessed him tell that to Alienware as well I spent dollars on the computer I have high exp
