Hinge on laptop brokenProduct under yr warranty, but company is asking me to pay for the repairs and shippingThe product was not abused in anyway, but broke down from wearCompany refuse to give free repair

I purchased on new laptop directly from Dell months ago and have had nothing but problems with it I have had to call the customer service team numerous times and have spent many hours on the phone with them Some of the issues involve poor performance from the machine, the internet not working on my machine even though it works on other devices, and now most recently the battery will not charge All of this on basically a brand new computer, I have barely been able to use the device because of the poor performance and now I must keep it plugged into the A/C adapter to use it at all I have requested to return my product for a refund on several different occasions On the last occasion I was transferred to different departments times without being able to speak to someone about the refund I was referred to their customer care team which only operates during business hours and after several attempts to get through to that team I have been unsuccessful

Our battery died while under warranty and the company is no longer producing that battery type So, instead of honoring the warranty with a new battery they want us to pay $for a refurbished battery

We ordered a Dell All In One desktop computer from [redacted] .com, back in Aug The computer started losing power, randomly, and wouldn't power back up until we unplugged it from the wallIt was past the deadline to return to [redacted] .com, so we were told we had to deal with DellWe spent countless hours on the phone with Dell tech support, letting them take control, or talking us through procedures, trying to find/fix the problemsAt times, we spent hours waiting for support calls that didn't come, during a hr set timeFinally, they had us send the computer back to themWhen the sent it back, via FedEx, the box was wet and damagedThe base of the computer, where the motherboard is located, was dented in several spots, front and backWe called FedEx immediately, they told us to file a complaint, and send pictures of damage and a copy of the receiptWE ALREADY PAID FOR THIS COMPUTERBut, instead of sending us money to fix OUR computer, they sent Dell the check, and told us t

I ordered a laptop to an address where I was visitingThe Fedex person tried to deliver but I wasn't thereDell has a contract with Fedex where they can't drop off at the local Kinko's/FedexWhen I offered to pick it up from the Fedex warehouse, they say I must have a government ID where my address on the ID matches the delivery address!! I refused to accept the shipment and Dell wants to charge a 15% restocking fee! Having things delivered at places other than home is standard and regular practice Dell states they said so on the website and its entirely against standard and regular practice for practically any business Hardly anyone actually reads through the miles of fine print with each sale Its amazing to me that Dell thinks it can dictate to the customer where they should have items delivered! Even government bureaucracies do not behave so badly Good companies want to serve their customers If Dell chooses to act in a manner contrary to standard business pr

I recently purchased a new laptop from DellWhen making the purchase by telephone with Dell's sales agent ***, I was promised a gift card on top of the Dell RewardsI made a call to Dell 8/6/and spoke with customer careI explained the situation that I was promised a gift card their response was that there is nothing in the notesI asked them to listen to the phone call where I had made the purchase as this would resolve the issueAgain they responded that since there was nothing in the notes I was out of luckThe representative made no attempt to listen to the phone call just explaining nothing in the notesAs a consumer it is not my issue that a Dell representative doesn't take detailed notesThe Dell "Care" representative evidently doesn't "CARE" at allThe "care" rep told me I would need to speak with sales as they could solve this issueI then held for a sales agent for over minutes and Dell hung up on meI then contacted the sales team through Dell chatThey

I had been saving up money to buy a limited edition PSfor months now and it goes on sale on their website and I ordered it within minutes with expedited delivery for the 28th of September and it's been processing for a whole day and when I called to ask why, the CR said that they had it on hold and I had to verify my information which I did and it was confirmed and I asked if there was gonna be any problem with my order because of this and I would be getting it on that day and if they had stock for it and I was assured that it would be fulfilled by the time and I check back today and my expected delivery goes to October and I called to ask why and the guy says that they can't do it because they are out of stock even though I ordered with it saying it's in stock and other people have gotten theirs

All quotes below are from representative " [redacted] ." An entire month has passed since the issue was raised 3/"As discussed on call, kindly let me know once you purchase a cable and I will be happy to process a credit for the same." Note: The issue required more than a cable to fix 3/"However, as you mentioned that it cost you around $75.00, I would be glad to process the credit for $without any receipt as an exception." Note: The cost was estimated at $125, not $ 4/"Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused, however I would be able process credit concession on your new purchase once it is shipped." Note: No mention of any restrictions such as required purchase amount for the full amount of concession 4/"I see that the order value is $and based on your order value, I have negotiated with our finance team and got an approval to process $credit." To summarize, an issue with Dell's product (purchase of over $1150) ca

I purchased a computer for my stepfather for Christmas It failed working months later We have sent the computer twice to Dell's repair facility in Texas and received it back both times with the issue not repaired Dell refuses to stand by its warranty

I have returned this computer different times for repairsThis time when I got it back the mouse and keyboard would not function at allThey logged on and did a remote repair to my machine and then told me that since that didn't work they needed to reinstall the operating system then just left me with itI finally got it to install but now it wants me to press this key and finish the install, etcI've contacted Dell times and first they said we will send you a new mouse and keyboard but it probably won't work eitherI want this machine replaced its been a lemon from the startNow I can't get them to send me a return repair formThey actually told me to press the fkey and do this and that when they know the mouse and keyboard don't work! I need this computer for my jobWhy can't they just send m e a new one?

I am a life long Dell customer and I believe Dell's products are the best On 11/28/17, I called Dell Customer Service with the intention of purchasing Flat screen monitors (Dell Monitor - P2417H)My employer offers a discount with Dell, Memeber ID: HS I informed the Dell Representative of my interest, and he quoted me a price for the monitor that was much higher than what was advertised online It seems that he did not have the correct information available, however he finally agreed to the price I mentioned which was advertised online I informed the Representative of my Employer discount and the representative indicated that my Employer Discount could not be applied to my purchaseI asked if any other discounts could be applied instead, however no other discount was offered to meI also mentioned if Price Match could be applied, since I saw the same product advertised else where for cheaper, and he responded that Price Match could not be applied this weekEv

Dell refused to cancel my order after less than hours after placing itI contacted them on Saturday (purchased on Friday) and was told they were closed until MondayBy Monday they said they had sent purchase information to the vendor, but my package hadn't been assigned any shipping information and would not ship for a few more daysI was told by customer service that they would intercept the package before it was deliveredI was then informed that they had failed to intercept the package and was told I would need to sign for the delivery and they would come and pick it upWhen I tried to schedule the pick up, I was then informed that I would be required to pay a 15% restocking feeI was told by Customer care directly that they could intercept the package and I would not have to pay this fee I truly believe they gave me a run around on cancelling the order before it had shipped as a means to mislead me and obtain a percent fee for a returnThis practice is dishonest a

I returned an item to dell via UPS and they gave me a different address than from where they sent the package to meI was given an invoice saying dell returned the money when they didn't and then pay pal wouldn't refund me because the address dell gave me when they let me print out the UPS ground package labeling slip was not the same one that the package was sent to me from

I purchased a Dell Inspiron on 4/29/from Microsoftstore.com, which after contacting them, they assured me that it was covered by Dell under their standard year MFG warranty However, upon trying during chat and phone support, they refuse to fix my faulty wireless network adaptor They said that they would be happy to sell me a software warranty so they can help me for over $200.00!! I have been in IT for years, and have updated the device driver, verified settings on my home router, flashed the BIOS, and even did a fresh reinstall of Microsoft Windows back to factory default! This new computer will NOT stay connected to my network It will bounce on and off, and I have many other devices on my network connected successfully -- WITHOUT ISSUE I have been doing this since the Wireless B days, and before laptops had built in NIC's I would like my money back, before I sue for more damages I will NOT be using DELL products any longer!!

I had ordered a Playstation Pro on February 26th and was told the order would ship within hours, this never happenedAfter inquiring about my order, Dell customer service told me that the Playstation Pro was actually out of stockThis was the only item from Dell.com that I had wantedIt makes no sense to get store credit to buy something they no longer stock or keep my money hostage until they decide to get it back in stockI have been bounced around to different departments, each one telling my they have no authority and sending me right back to the previous departmentThis has been going on for over a month and need this resolved

I bought this computer in July of and it has NEVER worked Dell never told me about the day warranty when I first contacted them with issues I have had the following issues with this Inspiron series Microsoft office was never delivered with the computer as I payed forAfter a month of going back and forth with Dell, they sent it out On a number of occasions there have been error messages that not even Dell has been able to figure out I had to take it to geek squad (the computer was only two months old) The computer does not and has barely ever responded to any commands The computer is and always has been slow It is always telling me that the power source is not acceptable when it’s the battery and chargers that came with the computer In the year and a half that I have owned this computer, I have been able to use it a total of six times It is CONSTANTLY updating I have reached out to Dell a total of times via email, chats, calls

I am a long term user of Dell computers with workstations, desktops, and laptops I would like for them to contact me by email to resolve an issue my daughter is presently having with Dell concerning a computer that she has sent for warranty repair She sent it in for a repair that was supposed to take days and has not received it back after approxweeks She has been in phone contact (her call) after receiving a message that it would be sent back and was instructed to send an online request, which she did, but no response has been forthcoming I am inquiring at Revdex.com because no clear channel of communication appears to exist (or at least I have not been able to find one with my searches) for contacting a person at Dell I am presently abroad, so phone does not work She is a college student who is presently in need of her computer and the policy of providing one timeline that is not followed and not responding to her inquiries is poor business practice
