I placed an order twice with Dell but both got cancelledThe order numbers were: [redacted] and [redacted] In their order cancellation email, it said that “As requested, some or all of the items in this order have been cancelled”However, I did not cancel my order and want it to be processedI emailed Dell sales department, but never got any responseI called Dell twice, each time the agent told me that they would transfer me to sales department to fulfill the order, but I never got connectedI once left an voice mail as suggested by their phone system,, but nobody called me back The computer was on sale and I used $Dell rewards I earned through previous purchase before I applied my credit cardPer Dell's website, it was allowedI found no reason that the order should get cancelledIf the reason was because I applied $Dell rewards, then I think they were misleading and deceiving customers by introduce the rewards program, but do not allow them to use the reward
Inspiron series hinge failure defect- My laptop had the same issue after light use - the screw failure has caused the LCD case to separate on my unitThe screw had no locktite visible Technician report: I am seeing more of these cracked open laptops come to my shop and every single one of them were lacking locktite on the fasteners/screwsThe locktite is the blue paint looking material at the end of the screws The bottom of these screws should be completely blue if an adequate amount of locktite were appliedThese laptops have none at all or a small patch on one side of the screw Every single screw is loose on these models because of it The hinges are absolutely fine it is the looseness of the screws causing a cascade chassis support failureIt begins by some screws coming loose resulting in more stress placed on adjacent tighter screws near the hingesThis higher than stress causes the chassis to crack at the hinges later causing complete hinge separatio

I had purchased a Dell Alienware Aurora PC Computer through the Phone orders + Dell.com website (Dell.com order was completed through Phone sales team)The total cost on the order(s) [Dell representative split the order into separate orders for price matching], was There were some issues with the price match which were resolved promptlyAll electronic equipment were delivered on timeHowever when an invoice was issued, I noticed that my wife's name was not included (as requested and agreed to by rep, during phone order placement)I raised a ticket with customer service for getting the invoice updatedI was asked for Credit card information, to verify that I was the one who placed the orderI had questioned the need for this information as an order number / invoice number should have sufficedI was assured and re-assured that the card would not be charged, that it was merely for verification purposes and that the credit card number will not be recorded on the custome
I purchase several items from Dell on 10/7/2016, (ID # [redacted] ), and was told that the order should arrive on or before 10/18/Today, 10/19/I contacted Dell times spending approximately hours trying to get a status of the orderDuring this three hour time period, over a span of calls to Dell, I was transferred times between Customer Care and Order trackingI was finally told that the item was on back order, and then no one could tell me when the item would shipAgain I was transferred from Customer Car to Order status and trackingAgain no resolution, and I decide to hang up and file a complaint I felt that others should know about DellI ordered the items because I needed them for a special event Dell needs to know that this system, outsourced customer service, is damaging their brandI posted the issue and thousands have seen this postNegative publicity via Word of Mouth, and posting thru social media will have a negative impact on their brand
I ordered two Dell Inspiron gaming system laptops from a salesman (Sean Guion) over the phone on 12/19/with a guaranteed delivery date of 12/22/I verified on the Dell website while speaking to the salesman (Sean Guion) that we ordered an item from the list of laptops that had a guaranteed delivery date of 12/22/Later that day after I ordered the items I went online just to check the status of the order and nothing showed up when I logged into the website so I contacted customer service and they did something on there end and then the orders showed up on the status pageThat's when I noticed that the one of the laptops would not arrive till 12/28/This made me call back the salesman that had entered my order to verify why it would not be here by 12/22/He checked the status and assured me that the order would be there by 12/22/I logged in again later that evening to re-check the status of the order and noticed that it still had not changed so I contacted customer service (During my 16th wedding anniversary dinner) again and spoke to Satyapriya Mishra who informed me that my order was delayed but he would enter an expedited request (958496344) to get it to me by 12/25/Well it did not arrive by 12/25/so I was forced to see the GREAT Disappointment and sadness on my son's face when his brother got his laptop but he did not get his but I told him that he should receive it by 12/28/according to the another customer service I spoke to on 12/22/Now we get to 12/26/and my order status changed to a delivery date of 01/03/which caused me to call customer service again and ask why the date was pushed back again and he claimed there was a parts shortage which I then asked to speak to a supervisor after a minute hold he picked up the phone on his end and HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I called back again and the next person said that there was nothing they could do but try and get the order her by 12/28/and no one can guarantee a delivery date but I pointed out to her if you go on their website today that the same computer I ordered has an option for the laptop to be delivered by 12/28/(I have pictures of the website with the date and time)My question then was how can I order the same laptop today from your website with an arrive by date of 12/28/but the one I ordered on 12/19/not get here by the 12/28/So once again I asked to speak to a supervisor and of course none were available and once again I was told no one can guarantee a delivery date but the website still stated if you order today by 2:00PM CST that you will get the laptop by 12/28/I tried several times during these conversations with them to negotiate that if they could not get the gaming laptop I ordered to me at least by 12/28/to find one that was comparable to it or upgrade to a different gaming laptop that could be delivered by 12/28/but of course all they wanted to do was give me a $discount on my orderThis whole ordeal with this order was very frustrating and emotionally draining and then to top it off with being HUNG UP on by there customer service representative was UNACCEPTABLE! It was AWFUL to have to see my son's face Christmas morning having to watch his brother open his laptop and him not get to open his but to see a smile come back when I let him know his would be here by 12/28/I believe that when a company guarantees delivery that they should stand by that guarantee and if they can't they should try to at a minimum compensate the customer! If you can't stand by what your company guarantees then what good is a guarantee!
