The product is a dell inspiron laptop The laptop opens up like a suitcase on the wrong side The laptop chassis is not of an acceptable quality and is a fundamental design flaw There have been several people who have made similar complaintsAnd there have been no improvements in the build quality at all

My issue pertains to my laptop and the customer support and hardware support departments I have a Dell insperon that has continued to give me nothing but trouble since I have had itI got it just before the end of as a Christmas present and four months after that I had to replace the hard drive in it and then I had another issue pertaining to the "new" hard drive and had to replace it again and then the agent advised me the issue was from turning my laptop completely off and back on instead of using sleep mode then continuing to advise me to only run it in sleep mode by closing and re-opening my insperon and for a while it worked good and then my hard drive for some reason just stopped working and my laptop wouldn't even load up beyond the Dell logo and had to have another hard drive shipped to me and had to install it manually myself which I thought was very odd and like the company was trying to get me to void my warranty and after I put the new hard drive in my opera

I was recently made aware of performance issues with the Laptop PC I purchased from Dell in 12/ I have tried to resolve the issue over the phone, but every service call that they say will take 30-minutes runs 2-hours I've been on three plus The issue still is not resolved I used all my wireless minutes I sit at 'borrow' pc's waiting for email responses from them, that don't come I cannot spend any more time waiting

Purchased a laptop from Dell and received it on 10/5/ Did not work Called the tech support number Spent almost hours on the phone and they were able to restore the laptop About a week later the laptop starting randomly shutting down and would not turn back on Called tech support twice within a week span trying to find a resolution Again, spent hours on the phone to be told there was nothing wrong that they could see on their end Problems continued and I called on 11/6/and asked for an RMA to return the laptop for a refund They told me that the day warranty had expired and they would not refund my money I told them that the warranty states that defective merchandise would be refunded They escalated my case and I still have been denied a refund After doing some research on line I am seeing that there are thousands of complaints against Dell from consumers who have experienced the same issues as myself

Hello, I purchased two Philips Lightstrip Plus smart light from Dell.com The name of the item on the website was "Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus - Light strip - LED - million colors" When I received the items, I learned that they were not actually smart light, but rather two extension cables for smart lights This was not made apparent in the item name on the website I found this item by searching Google for "Philips Lightstrip Plus" I contacted Dell and asked them to send me the actual smart lights in exchange for the extension cables, and to honor the price listed on the website I was told that they would ship the smart lights, only to later learn that they again send another set of extension cables After multiple chats and phone calls with customer service, they refused to send me the smart lights They only offered to refund the extension cables Their advertising and very poor customer service resulted in a big waste of my time

I purchased a device through the Dell online website and was incorrectly charged an additional $230 on my credit card. The total charge on my credit card was suppose to be $318.10, but I was instead charged $548.10. I purchased the device through an online chat agent and I have a chat log from Dell confirming that $230 in gift cards were suppose to be applied, but it seems they were not for some unknown reason. I have tried resolving the issue through Dell support, but have so far been transferred between 4 different departments. I was also transferred to a few incorrect departments, and was told I was being transferred to a supervisor when I was not. A Dell agent offered to initiate a return, but I would have to wait ton receive the product, ship it back, wait for up to a month for the return to process, wait for the credit to process, and then place the order again with the hope that the gift cards get credited correctly this time. I've been having persistent problems with some Alienware machines ordered from Dell a few months ago Specifically, the machines have been persistently crashing I escalated this request to customer support, and they were not able to fix the issues I then emailed Michael Dells email address, and someone from India called me and sent out a service technician This technician made the problem even worse, as the machines do not even boot at this point, so I have non-working machines

Since January 8, I have been engaging with Dell for warranty repair of my Dell computer It has a video problem that they have yet to figure out and repair I have over emails, phone calls, of my own hours and over a week of time where I sent my computer to Dell warranty repair only to have it come back with the same issue For the last week Dell representatives have told me they will get back to me with an email after promising me that I would hear something within hours from their "highest level or technicians" only to wait a week and via email be told to not contact them they will contact me when they (Dell) has an update Meanwhile I am without a repaired computer...and on extended warranty And to top that I have received phone calls this week to follow up with me on how the repairs to my fully functioning computer are performing from other Dell associates

Dell customer service is awful, terrible, miserable, and appallingly incompetentWorst experience ever with an outsourced call center in IndiaI was a loyal customer but no more
