Dear Revdex.com,Mr. XXXXX reached out to us by email on 2/14 and 2/15, through social media on 2/15 and contacted us through the Revdex.com on 2/16. In response to all of these contacts, a senior agent from our office called out to Mr. XXXXX to discuss any of the issues mentioned in his complaint. After addressing his concern of the way he was treated in the store, we asked how else we could assist him and he said that was all. In addition, we have information that Mr. XXXXX has been getting discounts at the store and may be engaging in the unauthorized resale of Field & Stream merchandise (owned and operated by Dick's Sporting Goods). The volume at which Mr. XXXXX is purchasing Field & Stream merchandise indicates that he may be acting in a commercial capacity. Not only are his practices unauthorized, but they are also in breach our numerous vendor agreements and our Terms of Use,    http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/helpdesk/index.jsp?display=safety&subdispl... both of which preclude such activity. It is important to note that our advertisements for firearms online disclose, "Sold In-Store Only" and we provide a link to our Store Locator. After Mr. [redacted] visited our stores to locate the particular firearm, he contacted our office via email and we followed up via phone to advise him that we had checked all of his local stores. We had found the 30 OT 6, but this was not the exact firearm the customer wanted. We extended efforts to try to locate it for him, but unfortunately his neighboring stores were out of stock. I am not willing to accept their admission of error and request to close complaint as they have not yet completed their assurances of (1) a new proof of purchasae (without which I have been told by Sole and the Warranty company that I cannot receive any service -- the extended warranty company reminded me that I have lost more than a month on the original warranty date as well) and (2) the $240 compensation. I spoke to Jessica yesterday and she told me is "working on it" but based upon prior dealings with DSG I will be satisfied when this is completed but do not have faith in their promises. Our representative attempted to locate the requested merchandise for Mr. [redacted] and in successfully doing so, arranged for the firearm to be allocated to Mr. [redacted]'s local...

store. However, upon the firearm's arrival, it was found to be the wrong model. In researching the issue further, the requested firearm was no longer available. In order to further assist and make up for any frustration, Mr. [redacted] was offered  a $30.00 gift card to use towards the purchase of another firearm, or anything else in store or online. This resolution was discussed and accepted by Mr. [redacted] on January 28, 2016. The gift card was sent out that same day, January 28, 2016.
