The previous response from the bank stated that they would research the situation.  This made us hopeful…  But, instead, the bank simply reiterated its previous position, which remains factually inaccurate and completely unacceptable as our previous response stated.First, the bank blames other institutions for all delays, as they did throughout the entire process.  The fact remains that we consistently found all delays to be the result of the incompetence of most of the people we dealt with at the bank, where we had to spend an inordinate amount of time correcting the many mistakes they continually made throughout the entire process.  This resulted in the bank failing to honor agreed upon closing dates, missing five different closing dates, the first of which caused us to incuradditional costs of $3,330.Second, concerning the most egregious act, the bank continues to claim that they “verbally” informed us of an increase in the interest rate.  Once again, this is categorically untrue and a complete and utter fabrication.  No important information was ever conveyed verbally to us without also having confirmation via e-mail or other writtencorrespondence.  Because of early misrepresentations and failure to deliver on numerous promises, and since one of us has spent more than 20 years working in the banking industry, we kept careful notes on all verbal correspondence and we kept all e-mail messages and other written correspondence.  We were never informed of any increase in interest rate through any means.  The fact remains that an increase was made in the agreed upon interest rate without any re-disclosure or amendment to the construction/permanent mortgage loan commitment letter through verbal, written or any other means, as documented by our careful notes on all correspondence with the bank.  This represents, without question, truly unprofessional, unethical and deceitful behavior by the bank.  And, despite such behavior, the bank refuses to do anything to address these misdeeds.Based on our dealings with the bank, we will never work with them again for any banking needs and strongly recommend that others look elsewhere for their banking needs.  Wehope that no one else ever experiences what we went through.  We are exploring legal options.

 To Whom it May Concern:I filed the complaint above against Citizens Bank.  They reversed the unfounded overdraft fees to my account.  The online banking manager who called me ([redacted], I believe), told me that there were no pending nor outstanding charges coming in and together we reconciled my account.I receive a note from the Revdex.com.  I responded that all was handled amicably on 5/22/2016.  The very next day the bank charged me $50.00 for a purchase memo overdrawing my account.  I called the bank.  They had no idea what a purchase memo was.  I spoke with [redacted], the [redacted].  He was going to research it.  He never called back.  I called again.  He was gone for the day.  No one has ever responded to me.Attached you will find that my account that was in the positive is now -$259.99.  This is double the amount exceeds that of my original complaint.  The bank is well aware of the fact that I am disabled.  I am on a very strict and limited income.  I believe that telling me that there were no incoming or upcoming debits/charges and then knowingly overdrafting my account with a fee of $50.00 was nothing but retaliatory in nature.  The stress of this bank had effected my health this month.  I have scraped together what little cash I have to live off of due to their adverse action.  They have ensured that I my struggle to survive continue into the month following.    My panic attack is at it's highest point as I write this.  The effect of the bank on my health is causing me to struggle to breath, almost seizure and want to go back to bed.  This is too much, on any given day, let alone in one month and looking ahead.  I am forcing myself to write this.  I need my money back. I can't feed my service animal.  I was referred to [redacted]  When I feel better, I shall call them as well.  Thanking you in advance for your time.Respectfully,[redacted]

I called citizens bank on 4/23/15 because when went to pay on my car loan from ac auto that is the same company where they supposed to have the check from going to. Ac auto pay told me that they was charging me 20 dollars for a bounce check and they told me that I can not submit a check for 4 months and I have to pay with a debit threw they web site and that is a 5 dollar fee every time. So I called citizens bank and they still think its my fault for this error

Citizen's Bank did indeed contact me about my complaint regarding the inexplicably poor customer service I received as a victim of fraud while traveling and using their debit card. Unfortunately, they simply reiterated their original response to the issue and have still charged me exorbitant fees that their own bank officials repeatedly advised would be reversed at the completion of their in-house investigation. As these fees are all internal to Citizen's Bank, at the very least these should be reversed immediately.Regards,

Please add your rejection comments below:I am not accepting Citizens Bank's response based on the fact that they have had ample time and opportunity to respond and thus far all they have done is delay and postpone. Citizens Bank is trying to cover themselves against  liability because they erred in closing my account in bad faith. They never notified my about their decision to close my account, as it's required by law. At this point, I want to see their response before I accept any resolution in this matter.

Good Afternoon,  We would like to provide more information regarding Case #[redacted] for [redacted], a complaint currently being reported as “Closed as Unresolved”.  On January 3, 2018 we received a rebuttal communication from Mr. [redacted] in response to our status update stating we were still researching his concerns and would be providing a detailed resolution by way of telephone or letter once our research was completed.   On January 9, 2018 we provided a second status update to which Mr. [redacted] communicated a second rebuttal complaint. A detailed response letter has been provided to our customer via mail on January 12, 2018.
