I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].. I faxed the requested cancelled check and have not received any follow up.  All the while the clock is ticking against my credit report.  I expect written follow up and resolution.  Again, I am being blown off and this extremely important issue should have been resolved weeks ago.

I was contacted by 2 different people from citizens bank however, the account is still open, the money has not been refunded, and I would also assume since those have not been handled, it has not been removed from my credit either.

You have been "looking into this' OR  "sending the check"  for about 5 weeks now.  Then YOU decide where to apply this money and refuse to return it.  IF you refuse to return the payment (which is obviously why you are once again "looking into the matter") .  At least work with me on a compromise.  Instead of applying the payment where you want to  put it toward the December 2017 payment that is coming due.  That way my budget won't be stretched too far again.

I am not sure what is the problem Citizens is having correcting this issue? I have been told this would be handled and it hasn't. I had the option to contact the media regarding this complaint when I initialed the complaint. I think that is now necessary since no one wants to contact me. It's now been 3 months the account has been opened. I have yet to receive the checks I was told would be at my house in 7-10 days... I still have the line of credit on my account, and I still was never refunded the $30 they just took from my account. I also have the inquiry on my credit from the teller pulling my credit without my knowledge. The bank I work for would have had this resolved immediately, not drag their feet and ignore the person. I will be contacting the news, I have a feeling this is happening to more people than me and it shouldn't.
