I want Roomster to give me my money back, in the page they dont say that they are going to charge 45$ every month, this is ridiculusI want to talk to someone, costumer service sucks, they should have a number where we can talk with a person, not with an operator

Roomster texts me times in one day telling me to check out her profileI refused the service, so they flagged my craigslist addI had to repostI got them back by,forwarding all their texts to one another

I filed a complaint about a week ago when this company charged me $for absolutely nothing, without my permission Today I checked my credit card again and see that on or about Nov *** they charged me another $ I have NO idea what they are claiming the charges are for, but I never authorized them, have received no services from this company, and do not want any services from them They are engaging in some kind of deceptive practice that is seriously fraudulent and dishonest

Roomster had advertised that I would only have to pay approximately $for a full access of roomster for a monthAfter purchasing full access on 9/**/at 2:11pm, it had actually cost $I no longer wish to have full access for this month and I would like to request a refund

Their auto-renewal is predatory in natureIf you sign up for a 5-day subscription pay $7.95, they will subscribe you to to a 30-day subscription for $Of course, there is no reminder of when your subscription is about to renewAlso, it seems that many of the users on this app are possibly fake profiles or scammersIt's evident many are fake because the profile picture will have a *** watermarkThere are many scammers as when you are finally able to connect with someone, they ask you all sorts of details a scammer would and gives you the story that they're out of townThis business is practicing bait-and-switch and it is completely unethical

The only way I've heard of Roomster is through the unavoidable messages sent through ***EverySingleTimeDozens of them with every housing postWithout ever getting to actually talk to anyone from there, just made up housing contact to get you to sign upWhen I decided to try it out, there was no way to get anything done without paying for it, despite the appearance that you couldNothing but a money grab through underhanded tactics

I originally created an Account with Roomster to list my apartment room for rent A few weeks on the site, I received a message from a "potential roommate" I was presented with a charge of $for a day trial to talk to said prospect No exchange of conversation ever took place Less than days later I received a charge for $for another day trial that I did not sign up for or give permission They accessed my bank account without my permissionI immediately reached out to Customer service I emailed times, called times, contacted *** to dispute this unauthorized fraudulent charge, there is not one person from the business that got back to me This is a complete scam and want a refund

I signed up for like a week subscriptionThen they ended up charging me for a monthly subscription which was not very visible on their sign up pageI filed a complaint with *** and they suspended my accountI did not win with *** so I needed to make sure my subscription is cancelled but I can't do that with a suspended accountThey won't answer their phone

I made a post on *** about an hour ago and have already been contacted times with Roomster spammers trying to get me to use their siteOn top of it being a poorly run site, they are going about the wrong way to build a customer baseEven if they had a good website, I wouldn't use it

*** is not a good company, they will wast your time, once you open an account with them they stop talking with you, but any result, you try to reach the people who are "Renting Room" but they never respondI did tried to reach them but nobody to help customersBased on my experience I won't recommend to use this site at all Keep away if you care about your money and time

I was charged for a membership that I did not authorize I purchased a basic membership for $on January *, On January **, 2017, my *** account withdrew $for a three month cycle of membership I contacted Roomster immediately to confirm that I had not purchased that additional membership and requested that they reverse the charge and then cancel that membership Instead, they deactivated my account, not allow me access to communicate with them and did not return the $ I then contacted *** to ask for help and they were unable to reimburse to charge but confirmed that Roomster would not be able to charge me again There is not a costumer service phone number for Roomster to connect to When I called it, I was given the message to login into the website (which I am unable to do when I type in my email) I infer that I wouldn't be able to open an account from this point on Today, I emailed their costumer service from my personal email, explaining this

This site is a scam, once you sign up for a three day trail they automatically take our out of you accountFRAUDThankfully I was able to report this to my banking company and they gave me my money backStay far away, I feel like *** groups and even *** would be a more legit service

I came across ads of a similar nature, but I will only address the most recent one I have experience specifically While searching for places to rent on ***, I found what seemed to be a particularly great deal for a room to rent on ***, the kind that seems too good to be true similar to the scams on ***, but this is differentAfter contacting the owner of the advertisement, I shortly after receive a text message asking for me to sign up at a provided link that has been shortened using *** URL shortener, and that soon after we can schedule a time to meet and see the roomIt ends with a "Sorry for the inconvenience."So I followed the link which brings me to the sign up page for RoomsterAfter I finished I replied to the text message, which then returns again asking me to upgrade my account to the member status costing moneyLuckily, during this most recent occurrence of finding one of these ads, I already had a member account, so I replied to each text wi

I signed up for the day trial of Roomster and was EXTREMELY disappointedNot only were most of the listings fraud but when I informed customer service of this they said there was nothing they would doDO NOT SIGN UP FOR ROOMSTER! At least with craigslist they acknowledge there is fraud and help you with identifying itRoomster was never forthcoming that there was numerous fraud on the site or help with flagging scamsI wish I could give them a zero as thats what they deserveThey also dont offer your money back at all

I subscribed to this corporations website, ***, as a legitimate client looking for a room to rent I paid $for a day subscription Money was taken by PayPal from my bank account and paid to ***, a website owned by Roomster Corpof New York I found many instances of fraud by people falsely claiming to be tenants, all with the purpose of deceiving me of funds I complained to said website as allowed by the terms and conditions, reported said suspicious activity and after multiple reports submitted by me, my account was deleted without cause and no notice or communication was sent to me by the website I was locked out of this website and cannot access my account I established on January **, I still haven't heard from anyone at the Corporation and I haven't been issued a refund as requested My subscription was valid until Feb **, The website states anyone who cancels a subscription can still access their account up and until the account pe
