I signed up for a day trial which their company clearly states is a trial * I have a snapshot of their ad on their website to prove itI started my trial on 7/** at 6:18pm and I canceled my trial on 7/** at 11:amI canceled my account before I completed my HOUR trialHowever, my account was charged a reoccurring charge of before my trial was technically upHad they not posted the hours of the duration of the trial then I would not complain about the charge However, since they do state that it is a hour trial then I should not be charged until my "time trail" expiresI have electronic receipts with time stamps to prove the said aboveThis has happened to various other costumers as wellI have tried to contact them via their online help, however, they are very little help

I was I know where at first that they put my private interest likes dislikes and associations and affiliations for my *** on to my profile automaticallyI did not notice until later all of my political views and interest were advertisedThat is only shared with my personal close friends on *** it is not for anyone else's use or for viewingThat is not legal and I would like to be part of a class-action suit if there is one to be filedAlso as far as customer service they advertise 24/assistance but I had a question today and wrote them in the morning the afternoon and at night repeatedly and never was helped by anyoneThey have violated my privacy some people can judge you by your political views and not want to live with you because of that which does affect me personally and financially

I purchased a 5-day subscription with them for $Apparently the memberships renew automatically, which was a mistake on my behalf because I should have payed closer attentionHowever, I never received any receipt or any type of acknowledgement for them charging my card an additional $so I never knew until I checked my statementWhen I noticed this charge, I completely cancelled my account and looked through their terms of use and found their refund policy which states:
Refund PolicyRefunds are only available if there have been no Services rendered to the Userlf you cancel your Full Membership subscription on or prior to the end of the initial subscription period, you will not receive a refund for any fees paid for the initial subscription periodHowever, if your Full Membership subscription automatically renews as described in Section 5(C), and if you cancel your Full Membership subscription before the end of current subscription period, you will be entitled to rece

I signed up for a day trail and started receiving unknown chargesWhen you call their customer services line the first thing it says is, "if you're calling about billing issues, fill out the form online"When you go to fill the form out no one gets back to youIT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!

This company charged me $and I cancelled it on March **, and they promised me a refundI got the email from them and they said they were going to refund me a total refundI have checked my netspend account every day and the transaction is still pendingIt is April *, and it does not take Netspend this long to accredit my account

I started using Roomster in hopes of finding a room for the fall semesterHowever, after I signed up I noticed you could not receive messages unless you paid for a subscriptionRoomster offers a 3, 5, and day subscription I purchased a Roomster day trail for on the *** of JulyOnce a purchased the day trail I was able to retrieve the messages I had waiting in my inbox however the messages seemed scandalous and everyone you contact never responds backIn addition, a few days later I noticed that unauthorized additional was taken out of my account Roomster has no way for customers to contact them except for their on 24/help desk but they do not respond in a timely mannerI have asked them several times for a refund only to be told that if I dispute the charges I will be sent over to a collections agency

Roomster is a platform application intended to create a marketplace for renters and sellers communicate for housing accommodationsTheir roommate referrals are fictitious, outdated, or scamsConsumers are screaming fraud in many product/service reviews, but Roomster is still taking money from the innocent
I am requesting a refund for this 30-day subscriptionReasons-
My email account is filled with spam from people offering accommodationsWhen I paid to look at the messages, half of them where deleted, and the rest where from other users spamming
Users post fake photos and have spam accounts on FacebookI paid for days worth of serviceI requested a cancellation of this service within 24-hours of its purchase
I asked them directly for my refund, and they responded:
"Warning: You are responsible for paying for this service chargeIf you dispute these authorized charges, Roomster will provide your bank with proof of authorization, turn your account over to a

I originally wanted to use this service for daysI paid for it and used it for a dayThen I look on my credit statement and see that the company has scammed me out of $This company is horrible, no customer service skills and they are scammersI am a college student that is already in debt, and thanks to ROOMSTER, that debt has grown

I originally created an Account with Roomster to list my apartment room for rent A few weeks on the site, I received a message from a "potential roommate" I was presented with a charge of $for a day trial to talk to said prospect No exchange of conversation ever took place Less than days later I received a charge for $for another day trial that I did not sign up for or give permission They accessed my bank account without my permissionI immediately reached out to Customer service I emailed times, called times, contacted *** to dispute this unauthorized fraudulent charge, there is not one person from the business that got back to me This is a complete scam and want a refund

Rokmsters has somehow tied into SEVERAL *** add for rentals and rooms
I have responded to at least *** adds for San Francisco, yet I get a text to:Apartment still available if interested please sign up here *** The last are always a different code
You go the the link and have to sign in with *** user account
You have to pay, there is a e day trial for 3.95, yet they don'the tell you it automatically does a monthly renewal of
Only found that out afterwards from my PayPal account
There are several complaints online When I ask Rokmsters, they said they do not have links to *** adds Seems to be z blatant lie

I signed up for a day trial membership-which should have enabled me to contact owners and rental rooms in FTWORTH, TX ONI CAREFULLY SELECTEDTHE ONLY RESPONSE I RECEIVED WAS FROM A MAN IN AUSTIN, AND ONE IN DENTONOTHERS COULD NOT BE REACHED AT ALLJULY **I NOTICED THE MEMBERSHIP DID NOT STOP, EVEN THOUGH I SUBMITTED COMPLAINTS TO CUSTOMER SERVICEEACH TIME, I WAS TOLD A DEDICATED CS REP WOULD CONTACT METHIS NEVER HAPPENED, AND THERE WAS NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF MY DISSATISFACTIOMI READ OTHER SIMILAR REPORTS AND CANCELLED MY ACCOUNTCS ROOMSTERS IS STILL REFERRING TO ME AS THEIR VALUED CUSTOMERMY BANK SAYS I WILL NEED TO CANCEL MY CARD TO GET RID OF THEM!

NEVER USE roomster.com WHAT A FREAKING JOKEFirst off, the ppl who post on there aren't taking down posts when they are no longer availableSecond, they get you to pay for the first week and you are left to assume it is per weekOnce you pay, they end up sending you a *support* mssg telling you that you will be paying $per month after the first week is throughbut you never see that msg because its in a completely back end of the site you really wouldn't need to go toso then your card gets charged and you tell them that you would like to get a refundall they do is copy and paste that msg from earlier in the *support* section that you never seenso then you ask for a corporate office and they refuseI ASKED MULTIPLE TIMESCONTINUE REFUSAL to provide me with a numberSo I went the Revdex.com and wow, a lot of cruddy reviews here, no shock

I WAS CHARGED 29.95$ AFTER MY DAY SUBSCRIPTION ENDED I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS TRANSACTION AND THERE IS NO CONTACT INFORMATION BESIDES AN EMAIL ADDRESS WHICH NO ONE IS HELPING ME GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I originally signed up for Roomster.com in May 2018, but NEVER signed up for it to charge my accountI quickly found a roommate and went onto the app and deleted itA few months later I noticed that my account had been being charged 7.99$ 3x/month since I signed up for Roomster! But I never authorized the app to charge my account to begin with and I had deleted my account in MAY! I tried to contact them for about weeks and they had no customer service or phone number to contact themthere was only a chat room that took days to reply and had the same automated response over and over again

Roomster charged my account for an amount I never agreed to, filed a complaint with PayPal who also noted it was a suspicious charge, Roomster attempted to make it seem like it was my fault and tried to put a stink up with my bank and sent me a message threatening to report the incident to the credit bureau because I had a fraud charge against them and collection agenciesCompletely unprofessional, I have NEVER seen such childish behavior from a company beforeAnd THEY were the ones who fraudently charged me! Thieves, plain and simpleI WANT MY MONEY BACK
Stay away from this horrible company, it's a complete scam

Although I find Roomster's services rewarding, I find the business practices of the company deceptive, misleading and incriminatingThe agency unfairly prey on its customer base to secure banking information then use it as its very own personal ATM machine
I subscribed to Roomster at an introductory rate of $on March **, Three days later my account was automatically charged $I’ve called several times only to go through an extensive voice prompted system that constantly reference its customer to the website
The website is a juggernaut of prompts and coded messages protecting the company from human interaction by placing its theft on the consumerAlthough it is or should be unlawful to seal from its customer base, new startups like Roomster continue to hide behind technology as a way to bilk millions from consumersWhen I finally was able to get my account canceled, I received a back dated message indicating my Day Trial was canceled (see attached notice

I originally wanted to use this service for daysI paid for it and used it for a dayThen I look on my credit statement and see that the company has scammed me out of $This company is horrible, no customer service skills and they are scammersI am a college student that is already in debt, and thanks to ROOMSTER, that debt has grown

I signed up for the day trial period for roomster's serviceAlthough, on the surface it seems like great service, once you sign up for the subscription you quickly realize that it is not at all what it seemsThere are so many fake accounts and scammers which I understand is not completely the fault of RoomsterHowever, for a paid service I'd expect a lot more, I had the service right at the days, to my surprise they processed a payment of $I immediately wrote them an email since it is impossible to contact them by phone(not hard to see why)Their team was extremely short with me and rude by simply copying and pasting a statement basically saying, you signed up for this oh well you don't get a refundI feel that this is my route so that hopefully people eventually will steer clear of this site

I have tried to resolve issues regarding privacy and *** interest links with RoomsterI have attempted to reach them through social media
I signed up as required through the *** appI purchased a day trial membership - twiceI realized once I reviewed my profile all my personal and private "*** interests" were now displayingI asked customer support how to remove repeatedlyI panicked because of the personal nature of these interests put my safety at risk
I deleted my accountI waited for customer service to resolveAs I still wanted to use this service, I created another account with limited information and again a 15day trial membershipI was open and honest in all communications with potential roommates and explained reason why Roomster removed my account for violating their terms of service
