They will not delete my accountI no longer have the facebook
Page and I have selected several times to unsubscribe me
They email me daily on two of my emails And members
Are messaging me and I don’t want a room or are not offering a room!
I put in google spam and junk but the constant keep coming back in my email

On 6/**/*I purchased a day trial from Roomster in an attempt to find a roommateI ended up not using the service, but just let the days go past because I had only payed $Around *am on 7/*/*6, I noted a charge on my account for $for an extended day trial periodWhen I reached out to this business they stated I had agreed to the terms of service and the charges were finalWhile I understand their business practices, their "fine print" business tactic is very misleading and almost feels predatoryThey provided screens shots where I "*** *** *** ** ***"This may be true, but I can not replicate the process to go back and see how clear the ToS wereAnother issue, they state they provided me with an email that detailed this processThe title was "*** *** *** *** *** * *** ***"I did not read this email, because I do not operate under the assumption that a business is going to display such deceitful business tactics

I had been on this site trying to find a roommate for only hours In those hours I had to flag prospective roommates because with of them, different people were trying to rent me the exact same room In another case, the roommate said he was not living in his apartment and living in England and I had to send him the first months rent and security deposit before he would send me the keys without entering the apartment first to look it over "Coincidently" both of these apartments were miles away from each other I smelled the scam and reported it to Roomster.com where I had paid $for one month hours later, I found a need to flag yet another prospective roommate because he had the exact same language in his long reply email that the man from England had I did not flag this guy yet because I know Roomster would not do anything about it I demanded my money back because I don't trust the site anymore Roomster just sent me generic form emails stating that if

Total scamTricked into "subscribing" and impossible to unsubscribe

This website is a scam!
They do not notify you of recurring payment charges, and they spam you like crazyTheir customer service is terrible, and there is no way to speak to an actual personPlease use another website!!

I paid for the day trial period and was under the impression that the listings are genuine and not scamBut here is the truth, please do no do not waste money on this crappy siteMost of the listings are pure scamTotally disappointedWish I could give em "ZERO" stars

I signed up for a three day subscription on *** at a cost of $I was just charged $45.95, I have reached out to customer service and had zero responseOnly by reading other Revdex.com complaints have I discovered that my "automatic" renewal was most likely done at the full month subscription priceThe "renewal" price is in no way made clear when you initially sign up for the service
For use by the company in locating my account my *** information is: ***
Thank you for the help
*** ***

I want Roomster to give me my money back, in the page they dont say that they are going to charge 45$ every month, this is ridiculusI want to talk to someone, costumer service sucks, they should have a number where we can talk with a person, not with an operator

I signed up for three days with Roomster September **, they charged my bank account for $for service I did not order

This is an overpriced and shady version of *** apartment searchIt's $for a 15-Day TrialWhat is not immediately obvious is that when the 15-Day Trial is over, you are automatically signed up for a $29.95/month service for the next three monthsYou will not receive any emails for messages letting you know this has happenedSo if you missed it in the Terms of Use agreement and receipt, and haven't checked your bank account, you may not be aware it's happening
They also include strongly worded information on their receipt email that indicates they are well aware of their deceitful tactics, and are defending them:
"Warning: You are responsible for paying for this service chargeIf you dispute these authorized charges Roomster reserves the right to provide your bank with proof of authorization, turn your account over to a collection agency and notify the credit bureaus."

Roomster uses a predatory scheme where in the product select page did they in no way or form says you're purchasing a subscription, only in the payment page they tell you in tiny little small fonts that you are purchasing a subscriptionThey also send you an essay as a friendly reminder that no one in a busy life will read more than two sentence in

The app is designed to be misleading to it's premium membersThe app leads you to believe that you have canceled the subscription service by putting "n/a" next to the field: Next Billing Date
N/A suggests that a future billing date is not available because there isn't one
This leads customers (who are under the impression they have canceled the service) to continue being chargedThe company makes it impossible to contact a real personInstead you're forced to communicate through an app and you only receive generic, cookie cutter responses

Posted an ad on *** and then became inundated with sales attempts by this website despite requesting that I not be contacted by unsolicited marketers

I attempted to join Roomster on Thurs July * and the only option you have is to log on using a *** account and no other meansI am a very private person and also ex-military so I take privacy issues very seriously and do not use *** a great deal nor do I post pictures on there of myself or my family etc
I created an account using my *** account and than received an email the next day from Roomster stating my membership has been terminated because they could not verify my identity on *** since I have no phtos on there
I have written to them several times stating my reasons for not posting photos on *** and asked for an alternate way of identifying myself to verify my identityThey never responded
I find it discriminatory that they only let you log on using *** and give you no other method and an invasion of privacy to demand I post photos on *** as proof of identity

This is an unethical company that boarders advertisement I found an ad for a room on CL and the person I wrote to sent a link to RoomsterThe ad said the room was being rented out by a male roommate, however they sent an email from a sender with a woman's name and a link to RoomsterI signed up and it turns out that you have to pay to see any messages sent to youI paid the membership and I have not heard from individual since I signed up and I did not see a place for rent in the area the room was said to be locatedThis same situation happened again with another ad I found online that sent an email with a link to Roomster, again I did not see the room posted on the free website on Roomster

Roomster claims to offer three subscriptions: day, day, or a full month subscriptionI decided to sample the service and tried a day trial at a rate of At the time of signing up, Roomster makes it appear as though the consumer is purchasing a day trial period and ONLY a day trial However, without receiving another e-mail receipt of payment, Roomster charged me for a full month after the end of my trial at a rate of The plethora of Revdex.com complaints on this exact same issue (resolved typically with a full refund) is fairly damning and I cannot understand why Roomster would continue such an unethical practiceRoomster refuses to talk to consumers on the phone and forces them to use an online "helpdesk" (sic)Here, they claim "there is a site representative who is always available, and in most cases responds to you within minutes"
As I was unaware of this charge being issued at all, I do not think a pro-rated refund is enoughI demand the full $ When

I signed up for a 10-day trial and canceled prior to the days, but still got billed for an additional days I have contacted the company and they will not refund my money Also, I cannot disable my profile I keep disabling it, but it keeps re-enabling
Revdex.com files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning a renewal policy and deceptive advertisingConsumers are telling Revdex.com that they sign up for Roomster Corp.’s free or short-term trial but are surprised when they are charged a month’s subscription after the trial endsThese consumers report the disclosure of automatic renewal is not made clear to them at signup time and is buried in the terms and conditions page of the websiteOther consumers say that even when they follow the instructions to cancel the trial period within the required time frame, they still get charged for the next month’s subscription

I posted an ad on Craigslist this business has been flooding my email and phone with annoying advertisement for their websiteThe individual texting or emailing pretends to be a real person with the housing product but really just wants to direct individuals to their websiteI want it to stop
They do this to everyone that makes a post on the housing section, they need to stop doing this not only to me but to everyone

My apartment was burglarized the late night of August **, I lost my phone, jewelry, computer, my rent and savings etcI no longer felt safe in my homeIt took over a week to get a new phone, and I did not have access to a computer for some timeI started looking for a new place, so I could once again feel safeI signed up with roomster looking for a roommate situation, I was having no luck since you cannot view messages from peopleI decided to go ahead an pay $for a day trial just to read the messages I had sitting in my inboxEvery one of them was a dudThe next day, I found a wonderful lady outside of roomster who was willing to help me get in to her apartment and work with me given my situationThat day I tried canceling my subscription with roomster, but I kept getting an error via the appBeing locked out of all of my emails, up until yesterday, 8/**/16, I could not send them an official request to cancel by emailI am a bookkeeper by trade, and I prefer t

I've been spammed via text message and email constantly from these people because of a craigslist postThey use multiple fake names and email addresses, phone numbers and try continuously to drive you to their website
