I signed up for the day trial of Roomster and was EXTREMELY disappointedNot only were most of the listings fraud but when I informed customer service of this they said there was nothing they would doDO NOT SIGN UP FOR ROOMSTER! At least with craigslist they acknowledge there is fraud and help you with identifying itRoomster was never forthcoming that there was numerous fraud on the site or help with flagging scamsI wish I could give them a zero as thats what they deserveThey also dont offer your money back at all
My credit card has charged against my consentI registered only for days trialThey upgrade my account and charged me one monthNo one in the company addressed the issue in spite of all my follow upsNo way to talk to customer serviceI have sent lots of messages and only got non sense replies which was irrelevant to my complainI need REFUND my money, and proper apology from Roomster for wasting my time for last two days following up their terrible business and for them getting advantage of my credit card!!

I subscribed to a service with RoomsterDuring the subscription and payment their system went down and I was told to come back laterI did that and I was subscribed to one service for a re-occurring chargeLater on I realized that I am charged each month 2x for the one service I subscribed toWhile Roomster's provides me with receipt for one payment, my bank is sending two paymentsI asked for a refund for this extra payment but was refused assistance with an argument that the payment was authorized and to read the receiptThe receipt, however, does not correspond with the actual paymentsI keep receiving the same reply over and over even though I provided with exact paypal numbers referring to two different payments and explain myself several timesI can provide evidence that there were two payments each month instead of one

I signed up for a day trial only for before the days was up they had taken out of my account as wellclaiming I signed up for a 'subscription'i did not do sothey stole my money from methere is no customer service number to call to speak to an actual personi emailed them and got a very rude response (seemed even automated) saying they would report me to creditors and my bank if I didn't pay the amount owedit was already paid! they took it out of my account without my permission! this is not a real company and they provided no real servicei did not find a roommate, nor did I even have one legitimate connection in finding a roommatei have now spent approximately $for nothingi work for minimum wage! I am so upset and feel so violated by this 'company'it is simply a scam and should be put out of business immediately
The website is completely bogus In one month, I received over 'offers' of a room, however they were all worded exactly the same I responded to a few of them and never heard back from anyone I trusted the website would be legitimate as I found out about them from a seemingly serious online article on room mate websites
I was tricked into signing up, multiple emails into an ad I put on craigslist told me to sign up for Trial of Roomster to verify myself as eligible roomate Only to find out that they were fake profiles and that my "Trial" was no trial at all it was a "No Refunds" commitment to purchase with an automatic monthly renewal unless otherwise cancelled I fell the company is allowing this to happen and not refunding any customers I had asked for refund very next day when I found out it was information I was receiving They did not reply to my email
There was an additional charge placed on my account after a (day) subscription period to retrieve emails I contacted the company via email after attempting to call the company with no successThe company has referred me back to a service agreement in which I signed There is a VERY SMALL addendum listed towards the end of the agreement that refers to such a charge Needless to say, I am very disappointed in this service and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

HUGE SCAMRoomster took my money and continues to state that it's non refundable!! I literally used the trial for less than minutes because I recieved a message and got chargedTheir terms of use states a refund is possible "if there have been no Services rendered to the User." I signed up whit this company for a three day hour trial It was to rent a home to another party I canceled the account and was then charged for a day plan with them I tries to get a reversal or at the very least get the days added to a new account as I deleted and canceled the previous account not knowing I was charged for the day account Before I canceled there was a transaction feature to tell me where and when I was on their account I contacted them multiple times with no response but when I tried to get back on they responded promptly with info about my account noy having pics and of the sort.they never offered a phone number to talk directly the only form of contact is by support which required a account to even send a message All I would like is a reversal of the charge which is well within hours of the bank charge I even offered to just let me keep the account but I really don't want that at this point
