We rent a home from this company They are unreliable They never pick up their phone or return emails which makes it nearly impossible to communicateThey have hidden fees everywhereRead your contract with a lawyer Their online rent payment system is bogus, so we've been dinged for late payments that they canceled on us last minute They are rude and clearly just out to get your money PleaseDon't work with this company unless you plan to take it over I would suggest you run as far as you can from these people

I have been disputing a claim from them for over a year with little to no response on their part they are claiming I owe them money on top of my deposit I never got back I have had no correspondence with them other than one email jan saying they were having technical issues with ITlast week I received a call and a letter from a debt collector

I am the owner of a property in ***, OH that was being managed by Columbus Real Estate Pros Back in May, 2017, I have decided to manage the property myself after several years of a pattern of complaints from renters about Columbus Real Estate Pros The lease was supposed to expire on June 30, My contract with Columbus Real Estate Pros includes a clause that to terminate the agreement I need to give a days written notice I provided such notice via email to Brett S*** on May I specifically requested that the email be considered as a written termination notice I requested closing my account with Real Estate Pros and receiving the $reserve money in my account I also requested that Real Estate Pros not send a renewal lease to the tenant I stated that I will reach out to him and see if he is willing to sign a lease directly with me starting July 1st

I entered into a property management agreement with Real Estate Pros on 1/12/for management services of a property that I own in Medina, OH I had no issues with the company until I sent a termination of property management agreement on December 11, via email to Danielle W**b, the local property manager, and Brett ***, the Director of Ohio Operations At this time, Real Estate Pros owed me $for a tenant's rent and I had $in an owner reserve account Once Real Estate Pros received the termination letter, I was unable to reach Danielle W**b or Brett S*** via phone or email My wife sent emails to Brett regarding this issue on 12/9, 12/11, 12/16, 12/23, 1/4, and 2/including calling at least once a week She did speak to him once on 12/and he assured her that he would take care of the deposit within two business days He also agreed that the management fees for January ($79) would be taken out of the owner reserve, our contract would be terminated,

My lease ended at the end of April At the same time the owner of the property's contract with Real Estate Pros also ended Real Estate Pros refuses to acknowledge that the contact ended and continues to bill me They also refuse to refund my security deposit They simply ignore all of my calls, emails and letters They do the same to the property owner

As per our previous response to Mr*** as well as per the contract which was signed by Mr***, our company is due a fee which equates to a percentage of late fees collected from the tenant, specifically referencing Section of the contract which outlines all fees associated with the management of the propertyWhen the fees are paid by the tenant, the amount in its entirety is credited to the clients (owner) account and then a charge for the fee, contractually due to us is placed on the account; In speaking with the person(s) the client has referenced, it has been concluded the same information was relayed at the time of the phone call with the manager referenced by the clientAt this time there is no further resolution to this complaint as an explanation has been provided on multiple occasions and all measured have been taken to address the clients concerns

As you did not collect such "holding fee" with the application, but days later after the application was sent in, and after we were approved you sent to us as a "security deposit liability" form (which was paid days later), it was not at all clear that the "security deposit liability" would be kept as such "holding fee." Your condescending tone in such matters (i.e"What was paid to us we agree to pay back............$0) only further affirms the fact that anyone doing business with you should look elsewhere. Also, still haven't gotten Returned phone call for the 7+ voicemails I left or An actual email back. My complaint is with your business and the shady way you do thingsNot the ownerMy only complaint against the owner is that they would do business with you in the first placeIf you want to give me their contact so I can see if they actually got the money from you I will gladly give them a call

I have a property I wanted to rent , so I decided to get a third party ( REAL STATE PROS) to handle that for me When I signed the agreement the guarantee that the property will be rented within days maybe a little more They asked me for dollars for what they call funding money that is going to be exclusively used if any emergency with the house happens like a broken pipe, toilet issues etci told her ( the agent) that we have 24/emergency service in my condo complex I wanted to save that moneyShe said I need to have the funding because is case my condo does not respondso I decide to send the check for the dollar that they cashed immediately! After three months they could no find any tenants for I called several times to check statusthey never responde my emails or phone callsso I decided to hunt for tenants my self After days I got to rent my condo to a family of threethis was back in DecemberSo I sent other email to let them know I found

We respect the position of this long-term client and want to ensure that our business is concluded in a smooth manner We are unable to ascertain as to why they did not get paid for the month of February but are immediately taking the steps to remedy the issue This is, very
respectfully, the only time we have missed a payment to this good client the entire time we've done business and it was surely unintentional We are immediately disbursing the requested amount and the client should receive those 2-business days (at the most) Additionally, we understand the owner's request to be forwarded the departing tenant's entire security deposit now but, unfortunately, this is simply not within either our company standard or industry standard as we hold the tenant's deposit and they have not yet departed We have to act ethically and do an actual inspection of the property and assess charges against their deposit after departure using the standard wear and tear standard We surely represent the owner's interest but, as the party also involved in the lease agreement, we are not comfortable, nor would any company, creating a scenario that could possibly end up with the inadvertent and inappropriate full forfeiture of a tenant's security deposit without affording them a fair opportunity to have the property inspected Once the tenant has departed, we will inspect the property and will ensure that the owner's needs are attended to while ensuring that the tenant's deposit is handled in a manner consistent with Ohio Revised Code

Please disregard this complaint, it has been resolved with the company

I hired RealEstatePros.com to manage my rental property They company has erroneously charged my account as and expense for the tenants pet fee reducing money's owed to me The company gave made the same mistake consecutive months I have made several attempt to contact my direct agent as well as other agents and the owner without resolve The agents have made no attempt to communicate with me on the progress or correct the issue by sending me the money's owed I have also not received reimbursement for water or sewer the bill

Columbus Real Estate Pros has managed my home on Pontiac Ave for years now As an investor, I have been very happy with the staff and the attention I have received They give me great inspections and my house has been rented the majority of the last years The best value around and I am comfortable knowing they have my best interest in mind as an owner

I am currently a tenant at a duplex in Columbus, Ohio covered by this company They are absolutely the worse there isThey refused to mow the grass even though it is part of the rent The grass gets overgrown it is hard to believe that tenant live in the duplexWe have an abandoned house next door that has better grounds-keeping than this real estate companyWhen we call to ask them to come and fix repairs in the house, they are absolutely rude on the phone and send us to a voicemailThey take up to a month to come and fix simple things such as the dishwasher The tile in the kitchen has been coming apart but they still refuse to come by and fix it Most unprofessional company I have ever had to dealt with

I walked the home that I am renting from Real Estate Pros prior to submitting an application on the home At the time, I was promised that the home would be repaired, clean, and ready for us to move in should we apply We agreed that I would accept the carpet as is and would not be charged for the pets I was bringingI immediately applied and was approved and submitted the deposit to hold the account We agreed upon a move in date of 5/and I signed the pre-move in paperwork and lease paperwork on the 3rd of May On the 18th I was informed that I was not to pay a pet rent which was not disclosed at all during the entire process I did not fight this as I was now in a limited time period as we would have had no other place to move However, on the 21st when we moved in we found that the home had not been repaired It was filthy and still full of the old tenants things and had a massive water leak It took over a week for them to remove the old items and to stop the leak We
