Customer has been an active subscriber for several yearsThe grace period and cancallation policy has not changedSince The Bee gives a day grace period to renew the subscription, the account is not stopped automaticallyIn this case, the subscription was started as part of a *** offer on 5/19/The account was paid for weeksThe same offer was given to the customer on the first renewal notice 10/14/Ms*** made a payment on 11/21/for another weeksThis time, the renewal notice was sent on 4/28/Ms.*** paid again, this time for weeksA renewal notice was sent on 7/31/and another payment was made for another weeksA renewal notice was sent on 1/26/A 2nd renewal notice was sent on 3/16/and a 3rd renewal was sent on 4/20/before the account was stopped for non-payment on 5/16/This left an amount due of $All renewal notices state, 'the paper will continue automatically unless the Bee is notified otherwise.' The Bee provides our Customer Service number and the hours of operation to process a cancellation.There is not a check box to cancel the serviceLike most businesses, The Bee likes to hear back from our readers on the reason for cancelling an accountOur goal is to keep our customers and gather feedback when a request is made to cancel a serviceAs fo today, this account has been adjusted to a zero balance and all collection efforts have been stoppedThe *** *** we contract with is a vendor used to send out last notifications of a billThsi is not reported to a credit bureau and is not reflected on any credit report Pleae feel free to contact us at *** if you have any further questins or concerns.Thank you

I did receive the $ in my account today, so my complaint has been resolved. I would like to comment that I am not way pleased with the Sacramento Bee and have cancelled by subscription. Had it not been for your intervention I feel like this would have gone on for months. I have heard from many people that this is issue I had with them is a occurrence. I give them an F rating. Thank You

I am rejecting this response because:I got last week an invoice, the account was unpaid from 10/18/days later I got another invoice and the last oneThe paymento was due on 11/04/2015I e-mailed the Sacramento Bee referring the invoices, and asking for a clarification They never responded Now I read the account is due on 11/14/2015, first time a read this thru Revdex.com, not on the invoices I receivedMy question now, on 10/18/I paid for weeks When my next invoice is due 10/18/per invoice of last week, 11/4/per invoice of last Friday, 11/14/as they wrote to Revdex.com Where are the credits of the papers they did not delivered

I stayed up until 2:AM and met the delivery driver on Sunday morning, January 24thShe said she had not been notified that she was to stop delivering to my address and said I needed to call the office. I pleaded with her that I had tried calling and emailing no less than times and I needed her to stop delivering despite the fact that she had not been notified by the "office". She was very reluctant but agreed and I have not received a paper since. This issue is resolved but I have absolutely no confidence that it was because of anything that the Sacramento Bee staff did to assist me.If the paper begins to arrive on my driveway again in the future I will submit a new complaint and get my attorney involved

I am rejecting this response because:The attached document is the monthly invoice I receive from the Sacramento Bee. This invoice documents and verifies the validity of this complaint, namely,"The Sacramento Bee submits written billing notices to my family every few weeks and they do not note or itemizes the date and amount of each payment received by and deposited by the Sacramento BeeI have mailed letters of complaint to the Sacramento Bee requesting that they acknowledge each payment and the date and amount of each payment made by me toward the amount owedThe Sacramento Bee fails to list subscription amount owed and subscription payment madeThe Sacramento Bee has failed to respond to letters, emails, and phone calls."The Sacramento Bee invoice attached document verifies the validity of my continuing complaintThis monthly invoice fails to do the following: 1) Does not list the monthly payment. 2) Does not list the amount owed. 3) Does not list list each of the checks deposited as payments by the Sacramento Bee, the date of each deposit/payment, the balance owed after each deposit, and the balance remaining unpaid. This customer account was cleared on 10/29/The customer was stopped 10/8/with an amount due of $The account expired on 7/10/The Bee sent out the first renewal notice on 6/22/Then, sent one on 8/10/& 9/14/Since The Bee does not stop subscriptions on the expiration
date, the account continued on the day grace periodAll renewal notices state, "The paper will continue automatically, unless The Bee is notified otherwise." If the paper was stopped in the expiration date, Mr.*** account would have stopped back on 7/18/The renewal payment during that time was not posted until 7/23/The reason for the grace period is to allow time for the payment to be processed without an interruption in serviceAs a long time subscriber, we appreciate the readership and we have cleared the account from all collection efforts.
