Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas received Ms [redacted] 's additional informationIn regards to Ms[redacted] 's concerns, we would like to state that Convergent Outsourcing does not send notices to everyaddress matching the name [redacted] .Ms [redacted] received information to her address because we received updated information throughthe credit bureaus identifying that this was a match for the person we were attempting to reach.Ms [redacted] has asked; what processes do we have in place to identify if we have sent the notice tothe correct partyThere are several factors that are used to Identify and match the correct person tothe accounts in our office, from name match, social security number match, date of birth match, etc.Also included within the notice received by Ms [redacted] , are federal law requirements that speakdirectly to the consumer's right to dispute the account information should she not agree with or needfurther account validation regarding the information provided within the letter.Convergent Outsourcing has apologized for the error and we appreciate Ms [redacted] contacting ouroffice to advise that we mailed information to the wrong party.These types of concerns are taken very seriously and we work fervently to ensure our data isaccurate as possibleWe cannot guarantee perfection; however, improvement is a consistentstandard in ensuring efficient customer service.We hope that our answers have satisfied Ms [redacted] 's concerns

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I do not believe that the account has been closed and I believe that they can guarantee that matter does not happen again seeing how I am just one of the many hundreds who have been outraged by this or should I say scam attempt to collect a sum on poor unknowing people is ridiculous and I believe with all the complaints that have been made their should be some type of punishment towards scam companies like thisI believe the Revdex.com should make note of all of these complaints and either punish them to the point that they will no longer run these scams or shut them downBut we as consumers of a product that was never purchased to be harassed and belittled into paying a scam company is ridiculous and honestly I do not feel safe knowing that the Revdex.com has not tried to shut them down yet! I want a written letter that the account is closed and not sent back to the original culprits in which during my research have noticed that this original collection agency [redacted] has been thought to be the true owners of this supposed Convergent Outsourcing so if this is true then this vicious cycle will not stop but only lay dormant for a few and then pop back offRevdex.com please take action against scam companies like these.?

Re: Case #: [redacted] , [redacted] Convergent account#: [redacted] Sprint account#: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, Convergent Outsourcing, Inchas received Mr[redacted] 's inquirySprint placed this account in our office 03/19/2016, to collect a balance on their behalfI reviewed the call that took place on 03/23/Our company policy is to ensure that we are speaking to the correct party so that we do not disclose personal information to the incorrect partyOur agent identified himself and the name of our companyMr [redacted] was asked to confirm the city and state of his addressWhen Mr[redacted] did not feel comfortable verifying the city and the state to the address we had on file, the call had to be terminated as the agent could not discuss the details of the account any furtherOn 03/29/2016, Mr [redacted] verified the city and state to the address and was able to discuss this matter with an agent in our officeHe advised that this account was fraudulent and requested we no longer call himThe account was placed in a disputed status and the phone numbers associated with this account were placed on our "do not call list"In response to this inquiry, we have requested a fraud packet be mailed to Mr [redacted] at the address provided in this complaintThe account has been placed in a cease communicationIf Mr [redacted] would fill out and return the fraud packet, we will forward this information to Sprint in an attempt to help Mr [redacted] resolve this matterWe appreciate the opportunity to respond

I filed a report on Revdex.com on 9/01/regarding this company for violating the FDCPA, not notifying me of an alleged debt, and instead placing the alleged debt on my credit report with EquifaxThe debt was over an alleged [redacted] accountAs previously discussed, I've never had an account with [redacted] for anythingThis is fraudulent activity and the collection practices with this company are illegalThis company responded to my dispute on 9/06/stating that they have removed this account from their office and will remove their reporting from my credit reportThey advised that I no longer have an open account in their officeOn 9/10/16, I got an alert on my credit report that this company added this alleged debt to my TransUnion credit report, literally days after notification that they no longer losses my account and closed it due to fraudulent activity in my nameMy credit has now been hit twice by this scam of a companyIt's dropped more than points, because this company did not abide what they claimed they would do, and by not practicing the regulations held by the FDCPA I demand that this agency remove their reporting from ALL major credit reporting agencies, and close and remove my account from their office as agreed on 9/06/due to fraudulent activity and my never owning an account with [redacted] , immediately
