I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.To elaborate, yes a discount was offered and I turned it down.But no information was given on cost of part or what the percentage discount given would be.  That would of been helpful in making my decision.They wanted to send out a service call for a fee.  But they had my model number and could of had this information ready when they called me.Since they asked, the serial number is [redacted]I am not the first person with their washing machine breaking after a short time.  All you have to do is a [redacted] search for - ge washing machine hub.  There are plenty of pictures and videos of the hub disintegrated.  I can get over a 20 year appliance only lasting 3 years with a 1 year warranty.   What is unacceptable is the cost involved to fix.  Between labor and the new tub (because for the stainless steel you can not buy just the hub), it would cost more then I first paid for the entire washing machine.Lastly, nothing was mentioned about their support phone number offering me the wrong part number.  As such, I am out another 80 dollars and a part I can not use.  Any one want a cheap GE hub?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.While the tech did come on April 30 the appointment was supposed to be for him to replace the water valve that the previous tech determined was part of the problem after doing a short wash with some clothes. The tech that areived on the 30th didnot replace the valve instead he asked me what the problem was and started a wash cycle with no clothes then after about 10 or 15 minutes he decided he needed to go out to his truck to call engineering and was still on the phone with them when he came back in still trying to explain to them waht the problems were. At this point they had him looking for a button on the machine that wasnt there to put it into a test cycle. He now stopped the empty wash cycle and finally got it into a test mode and the only thing he checked was for any trouble codes and to make sure that the spin cycle was spinngng at the proper RPM and thensaid nothing was wrong and giving it back to customer relations without doing anything that he was supposed to like replacing the water valve. We still have a machine that is not working properly still leaving detergent and fabric softner stains on clothes due to lack of water, sill running at least 30 -45 minutes longer then its cycle time due to the clothes getting all twisted and machine cant balance itself out and still rinsing with warm water. I find it ironic how one tech does a small cycle of clothes to determine part of the problem and the one who was supposed to fix it and doesnt says nothing is wrong with it. And while I spoke with [redacted] she offered a buy back of only 500 on a machine that cost me an additional 875. as an upgrade to the top load GE machine the builder was offering as a standard when I bought my brand new house just 2 years ago. This is also the second machine since the because almost the same problems happened on the original one and after they tried replacing the dispenser bin and mother board which made things worse they decided to send me a replacement which has been worse since the day I got it delivered.

10, 2015 and gave Mr. [redacted] an estimate to repair both the refrigerator and range but he chose not to proceed with the repair. Mr. [redacted] scheduled the service appointment online himself and was aware of the trip/diagnosis charge. Better Business...

Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  Although the refrigerator has hit a period of colder weather in Phoenix and is thus working OK for now, I fully expect it to fail once the weather warms again, based on past experience.  GE has logged my complaint but the Revdex.com certainly helped get their attention to a lemon of a refrigerator.

potential issue.  He didn't want to pay our out of warranty trip charge of $99.95.  I offered to assist with parts/labor if the unit did have an issue.  He refused and stated he would live with it.  I explained that he could also select the defrost time and not by pounds.  There's nothing further we can offer the consumer without a proper diagnosis.  Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.
