My credit card company has refunded me the money needed and [redacted] Automotive has refunded me $174.00 as well. I do not need any other assistance from Darcars - I do not want to do business with them any further.

We feel that we honored our agreement when the customer came back in for the buff job. We can not take responsibility for scratches found after the purchase on a pre-owned car. At this point we can offer a discounted price if the customer wanted to have the work done at our body shop. That will be the only assistance at this time. Thank you.

I pulled the customers records and we did promise to absorb the cost of the rental. I spoke to [redacted] from [redacted] who explained to me that there was no other charges to the customer except the extra insurance that the customer requested. DARCARS does not cover any insurance as policy. [redacted]...

stated that he could not see any other charge that the customer is referring to. If the customer can provide me a copy of her bank statement - black out all info except date and charge from [redacted]- I can look into this further. I am rejecting this response because:I brought my car to Darcars to have my car looked at due to the “Search Engine Light” being on. I scheduled an appointment with Darcars because they are the main place where I take my car to be serviced and I expected them to diagnosis and fix my car’s problem. Darcars did not perform a diagnostic measure to check and see why the “Search Engine Light” was on, which was ensured to me that would have been fixed, due to it being close to the time that the mechanic was due to be off of work. On my receipt, it clearly states an “EVAP Leak” which the mechanic was suppose to fix this problem. He then cleared my Engine Codes when there was in fact, an EVAP Leak with my car. Duan my Advisor stated that he would have my car properly diagnosed and the problem corrected. The mechanic didn’t fix the problem which is clearly stated on the receipt, but turned off my “Search Engine Light” mechanically and just wrote my car off with a “loose gas cap”, which was not the case. The company stated that they would not recommend a repair if it was not needed, but it states on my receipt an EVAP Leak which indeed needed to be repaired. I think it is terrible how Darcars treated me in this situation and I am disgusted at their shady business practices. Their mechanic cleared my car to be in good working condition, when less then 12 hours later the problem which was clearly stated on the receipt, happened again. And all they can say is that they are “Sorry that I had to go somewhere else”. I think it is sad how Darcars treated their loyal customer.  Regards,

Since her first registration was an A class and the vehicle that she purchased moved her into a M class, MVA made her repurchase her tags. Total needed to register for tag work is 307.00. I am rejecting this response because: the dealership has already inspected and photographed the damage, and concluded its repairable.  I disagree.  The damaged components are colored, brittle plastic.  Having been a practicing mechanical engineer for 16 years, I am familiar with plastic repair techniques - they would not provide adequate durability for this application.  If the dealership agrees to replace the damaged components, and inspect and certify the airbag as correctly repaired, I will return.

I am rejecting this response because:For one, I never signed a Special Delivery Agreement. Secondly, if Darcars would've done their job correctly there would have been (2) payments due, not three! Inspections are never in that amount and I had no issues with a tire so the fact that a tire was replaced is not my responsibility. I worked at an auto shop that performs state inspections and Darcars is not being truthful on that cost nor anything else for that matter. By law, a dealership cannot keep a deposit when the dealership allows the customer to drive off the lot without financing. Darcars never even mentioned me not having financing until 30+ days after the car was in my possession. It is not my responsibility to pay for DARCARS 'mistake'.

This information is incorrect and I have my mother as my witness. Before we left the facility on June 16th the mechanic came to my mother and myself and showed us a confirmation number and insured is that the part had been ordered ON THAT DAY! If I  had not constantly been calling the shop I would have never known that the incorrect part was ordered, I  contactec and have a copy of the conversation that I had with Lori at Jeep customer service indicating that the correct part had not been ordered and it had been and ENTIRE WEEK before I contacted them because no one in parts could tell me anything and the parts manager never returned my calls. I called on Wednesday, June 24th still complaining due to no follow up and I was called at 5:15 pm by Mr. B[redacted] informing me if I get there 6pm I could get a rental car I asked him if it would be of no cost to me he told me no. I arrived at the shop with my mom at 5:50 pm just to be told I needed to go to [redacted] Car Rental up the block. I inquired again about payment and was again told no money was needed.When we arrived at [redacted] they informed us one..we needed a $25 deposit...two it had to be on a credit card or debit card...three they had no [redacted] or [redacted] products available. I had to return the next day due to this misinformation. The part arrived on Friday, June 26th and I was ensured the car would be ready that day. My mother paid for the repair with a check. The car worked for 4 days and had to be returned because a full diagnostic was not performed and it needed a starter, although the repair process this time was not as lenghty due to part being available the check out process was stressful on myself as well as my mom who went to write a check again for the repair and was told that they couldn't take it when it was taken before with no issue. Neither the service nor payment told my mom or myself that we could not write a check for the repair unless it was in my name. We debated almost 30 minutes over this issue until the clerk finally decided to call finance. Regardless of the so called two day rental, the service was totally unacceptable and placed me, my mother and my father who has cancer and had to keep changing appointments due to the inconvenience much undue stress.
