I own a floating week for a timeshareI called to make a reservation for my week and was told that all the weeks are booked
We own a floating week in a timeshare resort in Cape Cod Massachusetts, The Breakers I paid my maintenance fees on time and called Bluegreen Resorts to make a reservation at the Breakers so that I can deposit the week for Trade for another week and was told all the weeks are booked, therefore, I do not get a week I paid my fees and am not getting the week that I paid for

I was in the *** in Springfield MO and signed up for a vacation package with this company On 10/24/I attended their presentation and signed all the paperwork for $10, For $I also received a night stay in Pigeon Forge TN with a $gift card to *** During the presentation it took hours before we left I left as I thought this was taking too long and told them I was cancelling my contract They returned all the paperwork to me The sales person was good and don't have a problem with him I felt discriminated against because I purchased a lssser amount in a package deal They were trying to talk us into a $20,deal I have not discovered any charge on my credit card The presentation was in Pigeon Forge, TN

My husband and I have been a owner of Bluegreen since 2012, it has been one of the worst mistakes I could have ever made
My husband and have been Bluegreen since I've made the same mistake times and fell for their high pressure tacticsWhen I bought the first time, I was told that if I decided to sell in the future, Bluegreen would buy it backIt ended up that what Bluegreen sold me initially would not book anythingWe were also told that our resort Tradewinds, would be a day use facility, and that we could book bonus time and spend the day at that location When I inquired again concerning that, via email, I was not true.(Lie #1)So now I was stuck with points that were too low to actually use On our 2nd visit also to Tradewinds because that is the only place we could get a booking, we were told that it was Manditory that we have an owner's meeting, so we took time out of our schedule, and then was told that the previous sales person's sale, was not enough and that Bl

Let me start by saying we done a tour of the blue green resort in Charlston ScAt the time we didn't buy anythingAugust of last year we where in bass pro shop and they offered us another vacationI was up front and said we was there in June, the guy said that is no big deal people usually buy one a yearhe ran all my numbers and my name and said you aren't flagged so that means you are eligible to purchase another oneI said great and bought itI called and made the reservation, where I told the lady I bought one last year and enjoyed it and she said we get those oftenWe paid for the up graded vacation and paid $Everything was fine
We show up for the meeting, and set through the whole meetingI told the sales man when he took us in , we set through this last year and I will not be buying nowHowever my husband is about to retire and we would be interested thenThe guy left the room and came back with another person, who yelled at us in front of the other peopleHe said we tried to scam themthey not only was taking our gift cards, which we didn't care and told the guy that, but was also taking our room Here we are miles from home, and didn't have a choice but to pay for the room I didn't care about the gift cards, and was pretty up set about the room considering I was up front with eveyone we spoke too, about when I was there and beforeWhat was bad is how this company treated us like we was criminals Everyone needs to beware of this company and how they will treat you when you true to be honest

They didn't disclose important info during the sale of their vacation package
So back on Valentine's day I got talked into purchasing a resort package for $while we were visiting Bass pro shop in MemphisI was told that I could just call the number provided and schedule my vacation and during my day stay I would have to sit through a minute sales pitch for a time share
I called and scheduled our stay in orlando weeks ago for our vacationYesterday we got an email to call and confirm*** called and was told repeatedly that they needed to run his creditThey also kept asking "qualifier questions" likeHow much do you gross a year?, Do you have a Major Credit card?...etc
Finally I got on the phone to ask why do you need this info? We paid for a vacation package and no one asked us questions like that when I bought itI asked to speak to a supervisor
It turns out that if your credit score isn't or more, and you don't have a major credit card, and

Extremely aggressive sales tacticsMisrepresenting the productAs in that you will be wholly unable to make any reservations before a month period, without paying additional funds to buy more pointsYou will never be able to just pick up the phone and call for a reservation and make one on the spot - as told by sales reps- you will be put off for to months or coerced to purchase additional points to add to the points you have just to get a reservation in one of the resorts you supposedly "own" by right of the huge mortgage you just signed forYou even get a "deed", which makes it sound like you actually do won real estateUntil you find out the piece of paper is actually "rights", kind of" to a room in some hotel, in the city just a few miles away from your very own home, which you have access to only one week a yearBut not even actually in that hotel itselfYou share this room, this deed, rights to the "property" of the room itself (if that is actually a real thing), with every other member of the BlueGreen Vacations Then the sales people tell you that could "rent" your room out to help defray the maintenance costsForget it, no one wants the rent the roomThe room is never available!! Which brings me to my biggest issue, that is aside from the initial cost, which unfortunately, we already paid in full, annual maintenance cost, which you must pay in full, which started at around $Seven years later are not almost $How in the world does one get out of this contract??? Has anyone filed a suit against BlueGreen successfully?

I was contracted by ***, representing BlueGreen resorts in TampaNo number to call him back; I believe him to be a part of scam/fraudulent claims
*** from BlueGreen Resorts in Tampa, Fl., who cannot be reached for a follow up phone call tried to get me to agree to a vacation package and cruise package through the resortIt sounded way to good to be true, and I sure it wasHe wanted to send me a receipt for my part of the purchase of the vacation package, for which I never agreedHe asked for my email, and that is when the phone call ended
He initially contacted me because he said I was chosen out of a drawing at White Oaks Mall in Springfield, ILMy husband did enter a drawing a few weeks ago, but I remember it being for a vehicleI'm not sure how ***, who again has no call back number, got the information, but there I a scam going on

We have recently spent more than $for an attorney to get out of my agreement with Bluegreen And that is AFTER PAYING IN FULL for 25,points For a number of years we have not been able to make reservations anywhere we wanted to go at the time we wanted to go there That includes attempts at making reservations the first day they were available months in advanceWe were able to use all 25,annual points to go on a cruise in and another 25,for a cruise in The points reduced our cruise cost by $each time, while our annual fees were nearly double that Why would anyone pay $a year or more (because the fees increase every year) to have no desirable vacation opportunities and get only half your money back toward a cruise? So, we decided to cut our losses, pay an attorney rather than Bluegreen in and put this horrible decision behind us
I hope anyone considering purchasing points from this company reads this review and changes their mind We could have done a lot of vacations in retirement with the money we wasted buying Bluegreen points

Bluegreen took advantage of my active duty military status with fraud, deception, and misrepresentation leading to products not delivered as agreed
On January 2, 2017, myself, *** ***, and my husband, *** ***, initiated a contract with Bluegreen Vactions, account number XXX-XXX-XXXXXX after purchasing a "dollar vacation" from a mall kiosk promising a free cruise after attending a one hour presentation during our trip to Las Vegas, NV My husband, between jobs, purchased it as a cheap birthday gift for me and We were lied to from the time of purchaseWe were forced to sit through a two hour presentation then were not allowed to leave until we sat with a sales representative named *** for another five hours*** pressured us and bullied us into signing a contract, promising us that we would benefit from it and coerced us at a weak point in our marriage, that vacations were exactly what we neededHe played us against one another, telling my husband that a "good

My wife purchased a vacation to Myrtle Beach from Bluegreen at Bass pro shopsWe arrived on 6-10-appr 4pm at your welcome centerWe were sent to a motel that smelled, the toilet was running over upon arrival and generally nastyThere were no other roomsAfter four hours on the phone with Bluegreen and being charged an upgrade fee we finally got a roomNot a pleasureable experience

Absolute thievesCheck out the many lawsuits filed against them every year before you get swindled into a huge mortgage for something you can rarely if ever use
These crooks are fraud expertsFortunately they only stole dollars from meMost of their victims get swindled for tens of thousands

I was told I had two years to use package, not true Did not make the presentation and was chargedNone of this information was communicated to me
I purchased this vacation package on 8/6/ The repwho sold it to me for $said that I would have two years to travel I was told the package included, a night stay at a hotel at a destination of choice along with a cruise voucher which was not true It turns out I had one year to use to take the tripI was sent an email saying my voucher would expire 8/ I booked a date to use the trip before the expiration date but was not able to make it I called afterwards to inquire about the cruise and I was told that the cruise was only a prize for attending a presentation at the hotel part of the trip and that since I didn't make the trip, I owed the company $ This company is a rip off At no time did the paper work or the agent communicate to me that the cruise was a gift for going to the hotel presentationI was lead t

We signed up for Bluegreen about years agoIt has been a horrible experienceIt's impossible to book a roomEven when we try to months out, they don't have any availability

We were asked to buy, we said no...then they kept coming back with better deals to the point when it was a super deal! Problem is they lied about everythingEverything they promised was a lie...Would never ever work with this company again

While the initial purchase was somewhat pressured and we were enticed by gifts., we enjoyed the use for several years The issues started we could not use our points because of availability and when we wanted out and tried to sell our timeshare We were told we owned a portion of a unit and that it would appreciate in value False
Our maintenance fees continue to rise out of control and we are not using it What a scam and waist

This is our 2nd attempt to file a complaint against this companyOur hope is that they will no longer ignore our complaints and work with us
It was revealed to us during a new owner update we attended on June 25, 2016, that we were presented with untruthful details during a presentation on Saturday, March 12, that resulted in us purchasing a timeshareWe have made numerous attempts to work with this resort to resolve this matter but it seems our efforts are ignoredUnfortunately we placed trust in this company and believed what we were being toldWe believed they were honestly representing your company and the timeshareWe had no indications that was not the truth until we attended the update a couple of months later
Because we've received confirmation that they were dishonest, we are demanding you release us from the contract signed (XXXXXX) and that we be refunded our money and allowed to walk away from this companyWe will not be disrespected and mistreated by any co

The bonus they had to sell time share is a voucher for a cruiseThe company has noavailability for cruises unless you pay an upgrade fee
So we were offered to pay 150$ smth to aren't the presentation to purchase a time shareWe paid and we wentAs a bonus we were suppose to receive a certificate for day cruiseWe paid and went to presentationReceived the certificate and that is when it beganApparently you have to pay 400$ to go on a cruise which they advertised as a free cruisePLUS They advertise day cruiseTHERE IS NOT ONE STYLE CRUISE FOR Days available leaving the state of Florida for the next yearsARE YOU KIDDING KE? You are a total rip offI am contacting the attorney office in Florida to sue u for advertising

I kept getting phone calls during the work day from a number in Palm Beach Florida, so I initially ignored them until the number popped up on my phone in the eveningI answered and the phone representative told me that I had won a drawing at the local mall for a cruise vacation I didn't remember registering to win a cruise (it turns out I thought that I was registering to win a car, but accepting the cruise was somehow connected to being eligible for entry into the drawing for the car) but I had been through one of these calls many years ago and remember the high pressure sales tactics and requests for me to give out my credit card number to pay for the fees associated with my "free vacation," so I wanted no part of going through that experience again I said "no thanks" and ended the call Three days later I get another call from the same number I tried to decline the call but accidentally ended up calling them back The male sales representative immediately launched into the pitch about being chosen for a vacation, so I interrupted him to say that I had already spoken to a woman the other day and declined His tone immediately changed and he said, "Well why did you call back then?" I explained that the return call was accidental but reiterated that I had already experienced a similar phone call and wasn't interested in a free vacation attached to tons of hidden fees His sounded almost confrontational when he responded by saying that I hadn't experienced his company's vacations because I wasn't in their data base I asked him what the fees were for this trip and he quoted an amount around $for people but added that I would get all but seventy some dollars back because it was a just a reservation feeHis description of getting to select between popular cruise lines anytime in the upcoming year sounded much to good to be true, especially since I was only one of many people being presented with this offer I asked him for the name of his company and he hesitated a little and then told me "Bluegreen Vacations." He wanted to give me more information, but I told him that I preferred to look the company up online and investigate them myself and then I could call them back if I decided to accept the offer As I suspected, he immediately objected, stating,"This is already your 2nd call back, so if you don't accept the offer now, then you will pass ** up." Any company that won't allow someone the time to do research and make an informed decision is just SHADY in my opinion (especially when the representative is somewhat rude during sales pitch!), so I said, "That's fine, then I'll pass." I ended the call, and once I looked the company up online and saw all of the negative reviews, then I am glad that I followed my instincts I strongly URGE others to view this company with suspicion as well

I am a blue-green owner since Every so often they contact you for a discounted several nights stay at one of their facilities to try and sell you more pointsThey called us one evening and we had what we thought was a perfect opportunityGatlinburg is close to where my wife's family is from, we decided to go ahead and get the packageUnfortunately, we were to leave in a few weeks which was passed cancellation timeWhen we left, we got caught in tropical storm Nate and had an accident on the highwayBlue-green still charged us for the cancellation and then asked us if we wanted to reschedule! I pretty much had it with blue-green, they've gotten worse rather than better over the yearsIf I could dump this garbage, I would do it in a heartbeatThey make it difficult for you to sell your deed and points back, but make a killing on selling you extra pointsThey seem to want many of the early blue-green owners to switch their point plan seemingly to get back the deed of the property those points were deeded to at that timeDon't kid yourself, we've lost more points than I could shake a stick at because of family issues and emergenciesI wouldn't purchase blue-green again if my life depended on it

I along with another individual purchased a Timeshare through Bluegreen Vacations in May of and have been significantly disappointed in not only the service given but also lack thereofWe were given a misrepresentation of the sale, including but not limited to, a lack of availability any time we were to try and make reservations, lack of knowledge when it came to the maintenance fees and club dues, sales tactics that would be unbearable for anyone to have to encounter that left us feeling defeated, exhausted and no way of an out without consentingI have made multiple attempts to be released from this awful money trap to no availWe thought we were dealing with genuine individuals and receiving this "new and great adventure" only to have them continue to take my money without usage and also continue failed service throughout this entire torturous "new and great adventure"
It all began when we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC and stopped by Bass Pro ShopWe were approached by a Bluegreen Travel representative, agreed to sign up to listen to an hour presentation on a "weekend getaway" where we only had to pay the taxes and would receive gift cards upon signing up to listen to themWe walked away thinking, "Wow! This is going to be great! A cheap trip that we could take his daughter on and only have to sit through an hour? What could go wrong?" Well, everythingOnce arriving at the "hour presentation" we were told that his daughter had to go into a separate room and led us to the conference roomWe listened to the presentation for a little over an hour and were then led to another room with a designated sales representative to "go over" different packagesAfter an additional hour, we asked to have his daughter brought to us and they responded with asking us to wait until we were done and that it wouldn't take much longerOnce the second hour (totaling in three so far) we had to demand to have her brought to usWe wound up sitting there for a total of six-seven hoursThere were multiple times where we would say no, and he would in return fire back with something that they would "gift us with"Or he would have another rep come over and discuss moreWe were exhausted, hadn't eaten since breakfast *before* the presentation and his daughter was extremely ready to go, as you could imagineEach time we said we would think about it and get back into contact at a later date, or just flat out said nothey would bombard us with something elseIt ranged from additional "free" RCI weeks, adding the cruise or yacht clubAnything to get us to say yesBecause we were so mentally and physically exhausted from the going back and forth, having nothing to eat and feeling as though we would not be able to leave without consenting, we agreed to a biannual point packageOur day had been ruined and at that point all we wanted to do was eat, go to bed and drive homeUpon arriving at dinner, the same sales representative called and asked us to come backLong story short, there were multiple attempts by him with phone calls to get us to come back to sign additional paperwork that he had "forgotten"We argued, finished dinner, went back, signed the paperwork and leftHe did not go over it nor give us copiesThe only time we have "used" the Timeshare is when we were told we had to go back to an additional presentation pursuant to our terms and conditions of the contractThis involved them trying to up-sell us to buy additional pointsThey used the same sales tactics which in result led to myself having to fake an emergency phone call to get us out of thereFurther, I work for the State; therefore, there is not much time that I can just take off and have to plan vacations fairly earlyDuring the following year, we continuously tried to call and make reservations at different locations and different times months in advanceThere has never been any availabilityEach time we were directed to other locations that we wanted no part in and had no service given as to what we, the buyer, wantedAdditionally, they never once told us that our maintenance fees would go up each year and also had us put our down payment on their Barclay Bluegreen Rewards CardI was never informed that the interest would be 20% plus which resulted in not being able to put a dent into it based on almost all monies going towards interestThis entire experience has been nothing more than a money pit
I have paid for them to post it on their selling site (they stated it was the only site I could use)I've attempted to dispute the down payment on two separate occasionsI have attempted to call have settle with the merchant on multiple occasions to no availOut of all individuals I have spoken with, only one man showed compassionI called about the second dispute being closed and in the end he broke down while I was crying on the phone and told me that I could dispute it as many times as I wanted and nothing would come of itThat I was screwed out of the $3,down payment
At this point, I have had to pay the down payment off even though it was attached to the misrepresentation of the sale and total cost of the TimeshareI have sent so much money out of pocket to Bluegreen and nothing to show for itThey could not even give me a confirmation number as to taking of the "automatic payments" for the mortgageI had to go to my bank and pay to have that taken care of on my end as wellFailed attempts, lack of service, no usage and full on misrepresentation of the sale and being coerced into the purchaseall of this is leading me to seek legal assistanceThis is the worst decision I have ever made and am in such disbelief that I have had to encounter such turmoil with this company
