Bluegreen is a scam They sell you a story that seems legitimate that plays directly on your emotions Their game is to make you think "paying them to get discounts to vacation travel" is worthy of fees and dues you owe them In fact, their advantage is nothing You end up paying them an exorbitant amount of money and get nothing in return or in any such "discounts" Here's the best analogy to describe their service -- You pay them to put money away for vacations, then pay pricing for lodging + airfare at no discount =Scam!

I am an unhappy Bluegreen resort customerTalking to the reps at over the phone at their number is worse than speaking to a year old childI called them as an unhappy customer looking for a resolution and everyone I spoke to treated me as if I was asking them for a favorNo one cared about my concern no one tried to resolve my issueI spoke to a rep Connor explain my issue and he offers me to stay in the same city I live in for additional numberThey don't care that your not happy all they want is moneyCustomer satisfaction is not an priority for this companyI asked for a supervisor he than transferred me to *** he tells me all I can offer you is what you have alreadyShe was worse than the previous repI proceeded to ask for their corporate office phone numberShe says your speaking to corporate, but she introduce herself as a supervisorI asked to speak to someone above her this young lady placed me on hold for over an hourAnd then a young lady by the name of *** came on the line stated no managers are in the office and told me to callback and ask for *** *** I am very very unable I feel as if I have been robbed and if their was a way to press charges or sue this company I definitely would

Please DO NOT purchase timeshares from this company unless you want to just give your hard earned money awayWhen they are doing their sales pitches, they make it sound like so wonderful! We try to get reservations on line and there are never availableI called Bluegreen and even offered to give the timeshare back to them for FREE! We were willing to take a big loss just to get out of the maintance feesWe have both become disabled since we purchased it and can't travel much anymore! They refused to take it back!

My wife and I were promised a cruise for listening to a presentationThey told us in writing our costs would be $each but at booking wanted $
On Nov X XXXX my wife and I received a presentation at the Welcome center on StPete Beach FlWe had been promised a free cruise and were responsible for customary fees and charges that they stated in writing to be $per personWe had taken cruises of this type before and thought the charges were reasonableAt the time of booking on Dec their agent informed me that our cost was now $per personThe reason given was that they are charging us non-commisionable cruise feesThis amounts to a deceptive tactic to steal money from consumersOur deposit was returned to us after a long wait

We have been owners for 20+ yrs and have seen a Hugh turn around in sales pressures to purchase more time wth BluegreenThe sales team explained they had been given the objective to sale the Bluegreen product reather than try and force customers to purchase Great move on Bluegreens part ! Bluegreen has always had star places to stay at

Misleading information was provided to me when I was being sold this package
I was talked into taking a two days vacation for free on one my visits to Bass Pro Shops During this 'free' weekend I was told I needed to attend a presentation It took hours of constantly talking and promises and haggling to get me to buy this vacation package What they 'told me' and what they 'sold me' was day and night I've ended up paying dollars every month and over dollar in maintenance fee for two weekends every two years I retired and I went back to them asking if I could just return my purchase and I was flat out told they did not do that Now I'm stuck and the only way out will have an impact on my credit for the next seven years I was not given an opportunity to think this through and was not even able to ask questions, they never stopped talking!!! I'm almost years old, how many people like me do they do this to??

This scam is the worst!! They get you with an affordable getaway, then when you get there, it's a different storySTAY AWAY!! We went to the Tradewinds Resort in StPete Beach, they put Bluegreen guests in the worst dump, the most outdated, disgusting, old rooms with bugs and no cleaning service or pay an extra $PER DAY for cleaning!! We had to be switched rooms because we had mosquitoes and all types of bugs in our room only to be placed in another dump next to the storage roomThey are unprofessional, they are very pushy and will waste over hours of your timeThis is the worst experience I have ever had and it's such a shame becuase we were seriously considering purchasing thisAlso, it's a time share, don't let them fool you with "vacation ownership", the woman that was trying every trick in the book to sell kept slipping up and saying time share then quickly correcting herselfAlso, the annual fees are outrageous and apparently continue to increase over time, I heard from another bluegreen owner that regrets their decision and currently in a law suit with this shady, terrible, unprofessional companySTAY AWAY!!

Went to the presentation in Tennessee, had no problems told them we were not interested in purchasing their time share, then they come back with a trial offer that we could finance or pay the full amountWe agreed to pay the full amount no financing needed, then come back to say the offer was no good because it was not enough money to keep the reservation open, but over here them talking about our credit scoresIt's all based on credit wether you have the money to finance or not, what a sham of a companyThat's fine you do not want our money we will spend it else where, but don't make us an offer we are willing to pay for, then take sed offer off the table because of our credit score, that they do not even disclose to you

In reading some of your responses to the dissatisfied ownersyou state that you do not care about the ones who are unhappy b/c you have many who are happy, and you have over 250,customers
This would explain why, when booking a vacation there is hardly any availabilityAlso why do you lie to your owners when trying to sell them more points? I was told our maintenance fees would not go up if I purchased more points b/c of him backdating something that had changed and when I got into the finance deptI found out that was a big fat lie and I tore up the contract!!!
Well...I was once a happy owner but in the last two years have become very, very, lets say extremely dissatisfiedI recently went online to book the last points I had which I paid to roll over my points to I was told I would have to use points from instead of the points I had, I called your "totally scripted owner services dept" and was told I had points from 2015....What????? It is and I still had points from 2015???? Even though the Bluegreen owner service agents tried to explain it to me ...it still does not make sense AT ALL!!
And Ms*** who is a supervisor in that department is a ROBOT in all of her answersShe made it clear to me that they were not going to help me with anything and transferred me to the RCI dept,,,I am losing points and they still can not explain to me (to my satisfaction) where points wentWhy weren't points used b/f 2016???
On another occasion I called to cancel my reservation due to the HURRICANE that was going to hit Orlando and was told I had to pay a fee for cancelling ...REALLY? Pay a fee b/c I was not going to take my grandchildren to a place where a hurricane was expected to hit? And it did hit during the time I was to be there!!! They made me jump through hoops to get my money back for that trip!!!
If anyone has a lawsuit or know of any other way to make these guys be more loyal to their current owners instead of trying to oversell the availabilityplease let me know!!!! I will jump on the and wagon!!!!
UNHAPPY OWNER!!!!
PS....we paid for our points in FULL we did not financewhich I regret ever buying from these crooks in the first place!!!!

Our experience with Bluegreen has left very little to the imagination and zero satisfactionNothing we were led to expect from our "ownership" was delivered, and when we attempted to discuss this with Bluegreen representatives, we were give no resolutionInstead, fingers were pointed back at us, as if it was our fault we were deceived, manipulated, and taken advantage of
Bluegreen's response to our dispute was, "Well, you signed here, here, and here on the contract, so you knew ..." That was never what we were attempting to dispute, though
The representatives and salespeople we worked with over the years fed us misinformation and exaggerated the truth to get us to buyTHIS is what our main point wasThis was nothing that Bluegreen addressed, thoughOnce again, leaving us extremely dissatisfied
The most disappointing thing about it is that we entered in to our ownership with Bluegreen truly believing we were making a good decision for our family - because that was what the salespeople stressed the most! They told us that we were "investing" in our family, and our children would be able to use the timeshare for many years after we were gone and what parents don't want to set something up like that for their children?
The reality of it, though, is that our children would be extremely burdened by this, having to pay any debt accrued and the (ever-increasing) maintenance feesThere is NO WAY we would want to leave something like that for them to have to deal with
This is NOT something convenient, easy, or hassle-free whatsoeverPlus, we were not even able to utilize it as we were led to believe!
There were SEVERAL resorts we were unable to book, even when trying MONTHS in advanceWhen we expressed this issue to Bluegreen representatives? They told us we needed more points
Why were we told to purchase something that would not get us in to all resorts? No one ever mentioned that certain resorts required a certain amount of points and a certain length of time for booking, etcThat would have been a very important bit of information to explain, so that we would have had more understanding of how the system workedBut, no, no one explained this to usWe were not informed
We were told - you'll be able to stay where ever you want because Bluegreen offers so much more than other timeshare companies - Bluegreen is NOT a timeshare company - you are investing in vacations, not a timeshare
We have discovered this is NOT the case
Luckily, we are no longer owners of any contract or timeshare with Bluegreen, but this did not happen due to any real resolution given by Bluegreen
We were grossly deceived, manipulated, and taken advantage of by this companyWe are out thousands of dollars with NOTHING to show for it, and it's because of these reasons that we would NEVER suggest buying with Bluegreen VacationsThey are not selling vacations; they are selling misinformation and empty promises

DO NOT TRUST THIS CORPORATION, they are racist, crooks and hustlers scamming people out quick cashI purchase a package, called to reserve my income change, im no longer qualified, and they do not give refundsNow they gave me the options: give it away to someone who makes 40,a year or I can extend to a later date when my income meets the requirement and im compelled to bring my proof of income.( black woman has to show proof of her income, because she cant be trusted)
I have timeshare (berkley)and when I did my tour, they did not ask me one time for my proof of income, there concern was my interest and what im able to pay monthly
I will not recommend this company to anyone who has a soul or a heart, not all are treated equallyRacist company

Sold us a vacation package and lied to me regarding the terms
Called me regarding a vacation packageI said that I have kids and could not attend a sales meetingI was told I could pay $to get out of the meetingI paid the extra $and purchased the packageNow that I went to redeem the package I was told I had to go to the meetingThe rep on the phone initially said I would receive a refund because I paid extraThey transferred me and the next rep said I had to attend the meeting and I would not receive a refund
Deceptive sales practices

So my girlfriend and I bought a vacation from Bluegreen Vacations at one of their kiosks in Bass Pro Shops in the Fall, after confirming multiple times that it was no issue that we weren't living together, and that combined we meet both their age and income requirementsThis continued to not be an issue through the multiple required confirmation emails and phone calls throughout thr Fall amd WinterBut then just weeks before we were scheduled to leave for our vacation we were told during the final confirmation call that we were no longer eligible for the trip we paid for since we were not yet living togetherI called customer service and was told multiple times that this was my fault for not checking this requirement even though I was told for months through several different employees that this was not an issueFinally, I was transferred to the head of customer service who rudely and reluctantly agreed to give me a full refund and thought this was going completely above and beyond for me and that I was just *** out of luck when it came to all of the plans I had made for proposing to my girlfriend during the vacation as well as trying to find new accommodations just weeks away from memorial day weekend, which by the way was impossible without spending hundreds of more dollarsIt was ridiculous that this came up just weeks before we were scheduled to leave and that multiple of their employees said nothing for month's, along with how rude the head of their customer service was during this whole ordeal I will never be using this company again and am frankly ashamed that Bass Pro Shops allows these people into their stores

We purchased a Bluegreen timeshare back in DecemberIt was not what was promised
We purchased a Bluegreen timeshare back in DecemberIt has been nothing like what we were promisedAlthough we were promised to be able to vacation anywhere in the United States, we have not been able to reserve in cities we were hoping to vacation in and told we couldWe were told we could just exchange points and get points towards choice hotelsWe were promised that with the points we had, we could book two whole week vacationsWe cannot even book one nightWe were promised this was a great investment and we could sell for even more money since we were getting such a great deal on itWe found we can not even give it awayWe were also promised that if we could not sell it on our own that Bluegreen would buy it backWhen we called Bluegreen they said they would not buy it backWe were promised we could rent it out if we didn't use it and make moneyThis also is not possible
This whole pro

I won a vacation package and received a call from Larry, employee ID 3623, in regards to setting up my vacation We talk a bit, and he's very friendly at first, until he asks for my credit card information I explain that I'm not providing that without paperwork first to ensure everything is in order He then puts me on hold, and his director takes over Instead of providing any paperwork, she offers more vacation packages and lowers the cost of what they want me to pay for over the phoneI become more weary- I've worked in sales long enough to spot a misdirect and stay the course- I won't hand my card information over without some documentation to substantiate what she's saying and give me a little more time to process it She then insists that this is an amazing offer and that it won't last- I need to sign up now I again refuse, because I'm not going to agree to something within a half hour if I can't be given more thorough answers Then she hung up on me

Wow! We listened to a presentation in Gatlinburg, TN and was presented with a certificate to receive a $after staying in a Comfort Suite hotel within a year per the representatives oral agreement Then we looked at the certificate closer and it was months later in very small print After several calls, sending the documentations three times (two by mail and one email) we were snookered Guess what? Won't be buying into their property! If they lie over a $100, I'd be very skeptical of their business dealings! Buyer beware!

I received a phone call from Bluegreen VacationsThe caller ID was showing area code which is the only exchange for the state of Vermont where I reside but the call was actually from FloridaThe representative informed me that I was still in the running for a grand prize vacation drawing and that I had been selected for a promotional vacation package which would be good for the next yearsThe package consisted of a day night "Land" vacation and a separate day night cruiseThe cost: $($for each of the first adults) and up to more people could be added at no additional costThere were several additional fees mentioned but none of the dollar amounts for these fees were providedTravel to and from the Hotels and Cruise Ports was not includedA $dining card was also promisedThe only requirement stated was to attend sales pitch for one of Bluegreen's resort propertiesThey asked for my charge card number to secure this opportunityI said that I needed to research their company before committing to this promotion and was handed off to a supervisorHe proceeded to sing the praises of Bluegreen assuring me that they were reputableHe also claimed that they were triple A rated by the Revdex.comSeeing the C+ on the Revdex.com site and that Bluegreen is not Revdex.com accredited helps prove that I made the right decision not to do business with themHe tried several other tactics to pressure me and I was forced to end the call by hanging up while he was still talking
Some additional thoughts: When I stated to both salespeople that I needed hrs to consider the offer I was told that it was time sensitive and I would have to signup now or it would expireThey stated that I had signed up to be contacted by them at an eventI don't remember filling out a form for Bluegreen back in August (it's now December) They stated that I should want to take advantage of this offer because after all I signed up for itI do remember entering a drawing for a free hot tubEven if I did consent to be contacted by Bluegreen it was for a free offer not a promotional packageIn summary Bluegreen's call employed pressure tactics and lies while wasting minutes of my time

Vacation Package Purchased, Unable to make reservations, told by representative I have a low season package, and my acceptance form doesn't that
Purchased a vacation package on 9/19/for days and nights while I was staying at the Trade Winds in StPete was told the only stipulation is no weekend holidaysI called a month later to see how long this package was good for and I was told it is good until March and can schedule reservations at any timeI have been trying to make reservations for the past month and have been transferred nurmerous times, I'm being told I can't make reservations from June 21st-24th because its not in season for this package and that my package is only good for the Trade Winds HotelHowever, my Vacation Getaway Package Acceptance Form states no weekend holidays and that it is good for any BlueGreen Resort in the destination area, I have spoken to Andrea, Mica, Michelle, Armen, and Lanet all of whom have transferred me along with no end results

Completely was lied to by the scam artist selling day packages at the Bass Pro Shop in Daytona Beach I specifically asked about availability for Mardi Gras I was assured there were no Black out Dates and that I didn't need to worry about availability because package purchasers will be given a room He gave a list of glamorous available hotels He knew the only reason I bought the package was for Mardi Gras and for Mardi Gras only Well surprise of surprises, I call to book for Mardi Gras and am told there is nothing available, because I waited to book Mind you I bought the 2day package 2wks 2days ago It was supposed to be my anniversary gift to my husband I checked booking room availability for every hotel they listed me that they are affiliated with in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, only didn't have rooms, all the rest of them did Seems BlueGreen doesn't want to honor my package because of room price? I have submitted my cancellation, but not received reimbursement yet (I did it today) Buyer beware with a company that has 53yrs under their belt and only a C+ rating If I could give a negative star for the anger, frustration and disappointment I would

Was lied to abt a lot of things when we signedLike the mth dues would only be around $and if he was to lose his, they said they would resale
