I was mislead and lied to about a Bluegreen Rewards card would not be opened in my name and now affecting my credit
On March 25th in Las Vegas I attended a sales presentationI declined several times wanting the ownershipThe sales manager then told me Bluegreen has a Rewards card and lets only see how much you could be qualified forI asked him if this would affect my credit, he told me no its all done internal with the company so I said okWhen I was qualified for a certain amount and I still declined his offers he said ok I have put cancel on the paperwork for this card and he even showed me he put cancel on the formI still got the card in the mail which I wasn't told it would happenAlso it has affected my credit score alot because it is new credit on my credit reportI am highly upset and this should not be the sales practice that should be going onAlso I want to mention the cruise ship deal is misleadingYour company shouldn't be telling people it's a free crui

I was scammed into buying a time share from BluegreenThey had promised has multiple thing that where not true or didn't follow through with
They sold us a time share 10x what it is actually worthThey had promised us luxury style restore, however that was a lie and you can't find any available for these so call resortsThey gave us "free" that we found we can't even useThe whole thing was just a big scamThey never even told us about the cancellation period during the sell or how much the interested was going to be on our loan

I was presented with the option to purchase a "sample package" one year ago and it has been a huge mistakeThey limit the resorts and the days that you can travel so strictly, that I will end up losing most of the money I spent on the packageI was also told that I could share my points and book rooms for friends and family, only when I tried to, I was told that was for "full owners." I would have not purchased had I realized thatI think what they do is tell you all the great things about ownership, then slide in the "sample package" and you are just confused about the limitations of package because you have been bombarded with all the informationThen they call you non-stop to "have a weekend getaway on us" only to get there and have to attend a one hour (which ends up being more like hour) seminarDuring these said seminars, they try to force you to give them names of at least others for them to contactI am very disappointed and had high hopes for this groupThe one thing they have taught me is that I will not become a Bluegreen owner

Their sales team & presentation is complete fraud compared to what you actually get
May 9th 2016, my wife and I sat in a BlueGreen presentationAfter listening we declined to purchase, since as I informed their sales people, we are leaving the country for good this summer and moving to Europe
They immediately informed us about their RCI affiliates and proceed to say all these wonderful things about how RCI will allow us to use the BlueGreen Vacation points with RCI
They made many statements along the lines of what my points in the RCI system will amount too and what I can do with them
So being that I purchased this on May 9th, my account and membership does not go live until the follow month, being this JuneMore precisely I received my documentation and email and the logged in to view all of the things I was sold on
Short version is that, what I purchased will not allow me to do anything of the things the sales person told me I could

promises were made by the sales team during the presentation Most promises were not delivered by sales team and contract should be void
1.They told me that the timeshare was an investment and that it would appreciate like real estate
They told me that the timeshare was real estate and that I was purchasing a vacation plan
They told me the meeting would last a specific time minutes but it lasted far longer
They told me that I could, with their help, rent the timeshare for a profit
They told me that I could make money by selling the timeshare later
They told me that the company had a buy-back program for the timeshare if I wasn't satisfied
They told me that the maintenance fee for what the points I purchased wouldn't be more than $a year The senior sales manager told me he had 60,points and his annual maintenance fee was less than $so my purchase of 35,points should have a maintenance fee of less than $a year

During one of my vacation trips to Myrtle Beach South Carolina while shopping at Tanger Outlet a representative from a Bluegreen Vacation kiosk approached me and told me that we could vacation at any Bluegreen Vacation destination and while at our destination we would hear about the different vacation locations and vacation packages Bluegreen Vacations had to offerWe were also told that we would receive a free cruise for four peopleI am so disappointed because nothing we were told was true that by the agent at the kiosk or customer service on the telephoneWhen we arrived in Las Vegas to Bluegreen Vacation our reservations for our hotel was incorrect and the document we received for our cruise states it is for two people and that it could cost anywhere from $to $a person to take the cruise with Carnival Cruises
Unfortunately, when we arrived to the Bluegreen welcome center in Las Vegas on February 23, while checking in we were informed that we were staying at the Tuscany Suites and Casino E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV When we made reservation for our trip to Las Vegas on July 16, we were informed that the only hotels available for our travel dates were SLS hotel or Tropicana hotelWe chose TropicanaWe received several calls from your customer service agents informing us about our trip dates, how much the taxes would be for staying at the Tropicana and where to go when we landed in Las VegasWe were informed that the taxes for staying at Tropicana were $A few days before our departure date we received a call with information about where the Welcome center was locatedAt no time did customer service call us and inform us that we were no longer staying at Tropicana
we are extremely upset about how we were treated when we got to the Bluegreen welcome center and the two supervisors I spoke to at the Bluegreen customer care departmentWhile speaking to the two supervisors they were not accommodating in any way and very unknowledgeable about how to accommodate for this great inconvenienceI requested from them several times compensation for the inconvenience of us not being at the correct hotel and not having any other hotel accommodations on the Las Vegas StripThe supervisors I spoke with keep telling me that they could refund $minus the $for cancelation and that we could vacate the hotelPlease tell me from a customer's perspective how it sounds to hear that we will give you $back and that you are in another state over a thousand miles from your home and be homeless until your flight departs in four days
I spoke to Tropicana hotel right after I spoke to the Bluegreen Vacation supervisors and they informed me that they had rooms available

The salesmen used high pressures sales tactics to take advantage of us - we are senior citizens and didn't fully understand all that they said to us

The resort signed us up for a BlueGreen credit card stating that the terms were for months no interest and that it could be extended

My husband and I purchased from Bluegreen in February of in the New Hampshire locationWe went to the presentation and it seemed great We were offered free airline tickets-(which we were note able to use) and seven day certificates for vacations at resorts for $if we signed up that dayWe should have known at that point it something was not right We purchase 10,points for every years which basically gets you - a night stay at a resort off season once a year (maybe)This is not what we were looking forWe went to the update meeting in last June and it was awfulWe were put up at an gross hotel and when we went to what I thought would be a training about how to use the Bluegreen program it just turned out to be another way to sell more points At this point I had realized that this was probably not a good deal and absolutely not an investmentI do feel that we were misled and given informationIt has not been a good experience and has been a huge waste of money

With out going to details on all the issues I have encountered with this company, I would like to comment by saying that I am also a victim just like many of the members who are posted their reviews on this page I was told my maintenance fee would be about $per year with a maximum rate increase of 3-5% per year but sent me the first bill close to $including a hidden fee never been mentionedGod knows how much would be next year and a year after
Due to the issue I had during the first contract, I was invited to attend a membership upgrade program conducted at Baltimore, MD to provide me more benefit for less monthly premium by providing me interest free Blue Green vacation credit card I was told I had been approved and would receive the card via mail but never happened after they made me sign the contractInstead, my monthly payment went up by almost twice
In general, Blue Green is a corporation equipped with the most deceptive personnel to ruin your life just to make their dollarsBe careful not to be cheated by their sugar coated deal you hear from them
I wish I have known what I know about this company a bit earlierI would have never been cheated or being a victim of their lies
My desired settlement with the company is to look into request I have made to release me from the contract they have engaged me based on their promises

Everything that Bluegreen tells you, start to finish, is a LIE Their properties are hard to book, and every trip you go on they try to suck you into buying more points We have been trying to deal with them to get out of our property (they told us in the owners orientation that they would help with that) and of course now they say they never said they would help with it They say the only way to unload their worthless property is to list with THEIR third party property organization for a FEE I want OUT I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com years ago, which Bluegreen quashed I don't know how to get out but I will have to do something
