We have tried to get help from Bluegreen since October, but they refuse to communicate in writing
We want to end our contract with this company and are shocked that they demand we communicate over the phone, and will not respect our request to email, after being misled verbally by their staff
We would like to fully explain why we have requested the cancellationWe have not used the program in over a year and it is becoming a hardshipAs we tried to explain during our presentation in 2007, we are both retired, and my wife has some health issuesThe representatives did not listen to our reasoning and forced us into an upgrade that was anything but a good purchaseTraveling isn't feasible at this time and the maintenance fee money is difficult to come byWe do not appreciate the rise in our yearly maintenance and we do not appreciate Bluegreen's advertising and pressured sales tacticsBecause of our financial situation and health concerns, we must end this agreement and

Bluegreen (BG) sold us an upgrade to their time share saying we could pay maintenance fees with 5,points from our 20,points each year
We originally bought a Bluegreen Vacations time share at Loon Mountain, NH giving us 10,points per year in February for $18, With the 10,points each year, we could expect to vacation for approximately one week There were additional Bonus Times, and exchanges, etcthat we decided to try it
On November 30, *** and *** *** scheduled our first vacation with Bluegreen Vacations We were told we to go to a meeting with Bluegreen Sales and it would only take about minutes and we would get a gift card Under advertising, we were sold additional time share from *** Wintermote of Bluegreen Vacations Harbor Lights, Myrtle Beach, SC, for $16, This additional mortgage is called an "upgrade" Under advertising, *** told us we could pay for our annual maintenance fee, which would average about

If we got into financial trouble Bluegreen would buy back the property and misrepresent the ways to help pay the maintenance fees
Upgraded to Bronze point level June Contract # XXXXXXSales reps verbally stated Bluegreen would buy back the property if financial difficulties arose in the futureSales reps verbally stated different ways to take care of maintenance feesSuch as using local phone book to send in names and address as referrals, or using your unused pointsWe have contacted Blue green several times over the past six months to resolve the maintenance dues issueAny suggestions by Bluegreen resulted in fees and high payment plans for the dues As far as a buy back they refeered us o a company owned by Bluegreen (Pinnacle) We payed a fee to list it for resale with no results so farI have become disabled shortly after upgrading the timeshare and have struggled this long to keep up on the maintenance dues and mortgage payments Have contacted them numerous time

Bluegreen Vacation didn't honor my vacation deal of days nights at their hotel because my wife don't speak English fluent
I bought the deal of staying at Bluegreen Vacation hotel in Orlando, FL for days nights on 11/27/last year On this day, Bluegreen Vacation employee invited me to buy the deal, he didn't mention the a requirement of anybody in the family MUST speak English fluently to qualify this deal He just talked about I need to pay $pay up front (I did paid this amount) Then I would receive a $Master card back (I received the card) I would receive $more if I book ticket(s) within month since I signed up the deal, (I didn't) I would receive another $when I attend a 2-hour seminar to qualify this deal and ticket of Carnival cruise trip of days nights After that Bluegreen employees called me several time to ask me when I would book the vacation Then I decided to book this vacation deal on my anniversary, which will be Sept 2nd So

One day after within our cancellation period we are be giving the go around and keep being put off pot told it will be another minutes till they ca

Bluegreen offered a great deal for a vacation in New Orleans and made it the nightmare of New Orleans with over charging and incorrect information
Bluegreen vacations offered a package that was purchased around Thanksgiving of The purchase had guidelines such as making a particular income (over $50,000) with the deal of receiving a hotel in your desired location out of their optionsYou received a discount on hotel and a gift card all you had to do is attend a hour presentationThe trip was booked Dec of for the weekend of 6/4/17-6/5/in New OrleansBefore the trip, during the booking, we asked for the email address to be changed so we could receive the correct informationWe had to recall again to change it because we still were not receiving any informationWe did not receive any emails but just a letter in the mail giving the dates and address to hotelNO information was given about the presentationUpon arriving to the hotel we finally received what time the

I can comment on customer service and the *average* need for vacationing:
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
We DID NOT have a single issue with our cheto our hotel stay deal that we purchased at discount because of the timeshare offerWe LOVED to mini vacation we tookThe presentation was very company-positive and gave positive information, but was more based towards those people who must vacation often enough annuallyWhen it came time, after the seminar, to discuss different packages and rates the staff were very nice and quite helpful in answering our questionsOur guide was very positive, but I must say the salesman was visibly pressured to get us to buy SOMETHING
SALES:
My husband and I would be considered low to median class earningWe vacation a few times a year, but often stay locally within our state of Florida and we usually look for money-saving dealsSo we did not purchase a timeshare, but we did purchase a "sampler" packageThe salesman advised we could use X amount of points, and average weekend stays at locations averaged X amount of pointsWell, being in Florida that standard is not so trueAfter receiving the package we quickly learned we were NOT benefiting from the sampler and decided we wanted a refund within the allowed time framethe phone number for the correct department was hard to obtain, but once we did we had NO issues getting a refund in FULLSo we are quite happy the refund process was so smooth
OUR ADVICE:
Try the sampler you can use the money you spent on the sampler and apply it towards a timeshare purchase should you decide that is for you Also look into buying other people's timeshare packages they have for sale rather than buying brand newGood Luck!

Horrible customer service, lies!

Deceptive misleading promises & guarantees w/fraudulent mis-representation of the sales product induced us to purchase & suffer financial hardships
Deceptive misleading promises & guarantees w/fraudulent mis-representation of the sales product induced us to purchase & suffer financial hardshipsOn June 25, 2016, we attended a timeshare presentation at Bluegreen Harbor LightsWe were made promises by both the sales rep and the sales mgr in regards to the timeshare, which induced us to purchase 4,pointsWe believed that both the sales rep and mgr were truthful and that the purchase of timeshare would benefit our family with quality time and quality vacationsHowever, the timeshare has become a financial burden, which we cannot afford and has put us in financial hardshipWe can no longer make payments on this timeshare purchase as we do not have the money to do soThe purchase price of $7,with a monthly payment of $133.12/month with maintenance fees of $600/yr is way beyond

Bluegreens will not refund me my $as well as cancel my pending contract with them and we were never told only days to cancel
On may 25th,my husband and I went to Myrtle Beach and purchased a package with blue green as well as a couple months before hand purchased a vacation package and paid $out of pocketI called them today and told them that I want to cancel my package and was told I only had days to do so which was never said and we are under a pending contract right as we speak and we were told days and now I am told I can't cancel my package as well as they can't refund me the $

Purchased a trip to hear about a timeshare and were given information about where we were stayingCust Service did nothing to try to correct it
Acct XXXXXXXX - booked a trip to Savannah, paid $instead of $so we could go to visit Savannah at a blue green property and we were told we were staying at a blue green propertyWe asked to be in the historic district, we were confirmed in the historic district and told we were right close to the restaurants and other shopsWe show up and we are literally right next to the ghetto/hood area the front desk person completely agreed that the comfort inn where they put us was pretty much the end of the line for the historic district and while it is technically in the historic district it is the cusp and pretty much notThat hotel is not a star hotel by any meansat bestWe are a couple looking to purchase a time share and we got put up in a hotel with queen beds, and not where they told us we would beIt is walking dista

we were repeatedly lied to about what we would receive with the purchase, very high pressure and no truth to any of what we were promised
we were promised with the purchase we could use our points and certificates any time and place we wanted Also told we would get all inclusive free-salesman showed us pictures of the places we would go whenever we wanted Also told this was the best most unbelievable price we could get, very very high pressured need to purchase now In truth very very limited time any can be used and of course the most undesirable times and places and we were told we could purchase unlimited rooms-not true Customer Service is very hard to get ahold of first of all then they cover for salesmen I find it interesting not one time after numerous phone call complaints have they asked the salesman's name-I'm sure they are all trained to lie to get us to buy After being told we would be able to sell these for more than we paid we have found out you can hardly g

My wife and I went to the Bluegreen resort in Las Vegas in for our honeymoon We attended their hour sales presentation, which turned into hours Their sales pitch was very convincing In short, we were promised the world with all we could do with our membership, and all we got was a bucket of sand! Their sales tactics are very deceptive and basically, they will LIE to you in a heartbeat in order to make a sale
My wife and I own another all-inclusive membership at another resort (which is paid for in full) The biggest selling point that they promised us and that made up our minds to purchase was that, we were promised that we could trade in one of our weeks from the other resort into Bluegreen and we would receive an additional 15,points in addition to the points we would have with our membership with Bluegreen This turned out to be a lie We were also promised that we could trade one of our all-inclusive weeks (days/7nights) to go to one of their all-inclusive resorts and everything was included Well, guess what? Another lie! We could trade one of our all-inclusive weeks for one of theirs but it was not all-inclusive When we tried to do so, in order for the week to be all-inclusive, we would have had to trade one of all-inclusive weeks from the other resort and then pay an additional $200+ per day to have food and drinks included at their resort Why in God's name would I trade one of my all-inclusive weeks (everything included) to go to one of their all-inclusive resorts and still have to pay $1,600+ in order to eat and drink? This is just the tip of the iceberg of the promises they made that turned out not to be true
In 2016, my wife and I returned to the same resort in Las Vegas for our anniversary and to talk to a manager to try and straighten out our membership issues When we spoke to the sales manager and told him the problems we were having with our membership and the promises that were made when we purchased our membership, we were met with a too bad, so sad attitude At that moment, my wife and I decided that we were not going to pay Bluegreen another red cent! Since then, we have not made any payments and were harassed by Bluegreen collections out of Boca Raton, FL I finally told them to stop calling me and that I was not paying them another dime! They threatened foreclosure on my property Really? What property? What are you going to foreclose on? Time? With timeshare properties the only thing you own is time I told them please do and I will see you in court I haven't heard anything back from them since
My wife and I can easily afford to pay for this membership but we refuse to do so because of Bluegreen's deceptive sales practices We based our decision to purchase a membership based on promises that they had no intention of keeping and knew they could not deliver As stated before, I have a membership with Palace Resorts They deliver what they promise and more, so in return I have upgraded my membership with them over the years I have upgraded from their lowest level membership to where I now have two memberships with them, Palace Premier VIP and Elite memberships When we take the family to Cancun this July, I will upgrade to their highest membership level, Diamond, and pay it of in a matter of months See Bluegreen what you are missing out on If you would have kept your promises and delivered on your end, I would have delivered on my end and then some!

I bought a package earlier this year which included a day, night resort stay and a free cruiseAfter paying fees, I found out the cruise isntfree
Purchase date was 5/30, for the packagein resort fees was paid on 9/The account number is XXXXXXXX for the bluegreen vacation package

Deceptive, unethical business practicesRun! I booked a trip to StPete via a live phone call in late summer for $for a weekend trip in late Jan They sent me the paperwork and an email confirmation which I gave a cursory glanceToday, I received a call with a few additional questions, the first of which was my living/relationship statusWas I married, single, living with a partner, etcI responded I lived with my partner and asked why that was relevantI was told that he would have to undergo a credit review since he lived with me and would be considered part of my membership package I did not respond well! I booked this trip on my merit, my decision, my partner had nothing to do with it - why would I drag him into a potential timeshare when he was simply a guest for my weekend which I already paid for? This is the worst, perhaps most discriminatory policy I have ever encounteredThey refused to refund me my $149, they are clueless this kind of unethical practice will ultimately cost them thousandsguaranteed! Stay far, far away from this group!

I am called repeatedly by BlueGreen representatives and have been told repeatedly to be removed from the call list
Several years ago I purchased a two night stay from BlueGreen vacationsWhen I called to book it there were no dates left that yearSince that time I am called OFTEN by BluleGreen representatives offering me "special deals" to renew my certificateI have told them MANY times (at least 15) to remove my name from the list and NEVER CALL ME AGAIN to no avail I continue to get calls from BlueGreen representatives

I have attempted to get a refund for a Sampler Package and Bluegreen is not working with me to resolve the issue despite several attempts to contact
I am writing to follow up on a request for a Sampler Refund I requested last weekI purchased (in full) a Sampler Package on November 20th in your Savannah, GA office for $ In that preview, I was assured I could book a room in the Savannah, GA lodging location for the week of March 12th, It was the main reason I decided to purchase The next morning, I called the reservations number and was told that there were no rooms available for that week I was furious! I tried to call the sales rep, *** ***, the Bluegreen offic in Savannah, the lady that called the day prior to confirm we would be at the preview and *** ***, who is the new member concierge prior to am that same morning at this time, not one of those individuals has responded I was also told in the preview and in my confirmation interview that my

My wife and I are victims of deceptive sales practiceWe want confirmation our account with Bluegreen Corporation is canceled
We have been owners with this resort since 2008, and we have not experienced the exclusivity and customer service we were assured we would get with Bluegreen Vacation ClubEvery single thing that was portrayed to us at the time of both purchases were all misrepresentations of what we were truly buyingWe no longer want to be part of a company that sees nothing wrong with being dishonest with their paying customersWe have spent a fortune and more towards this timeshare
After all of these years, we have not been able to thoroughly enjoy our timeshare and the "perks" we upgraded toWe never stayed in any units that resembles the ones we were shown during the sales presentationsFor the amount of money we are paying to Bluegreen Vacation Club, we should not be staying in tarnished and rundown unitsThe units we stayed in the appliances were outdated,

Would no way purchase a timeshare from this company when finding out upon our arrival for our mini vacation that our accommodations had been canceled by Bluegreen Hotel Manager told us that do to the fact that they would of had to upgrade us in the hotel, because Bluegreen failed to book the extra night I had purchased months prior to our arrival, Bluegreen canceled our reservation the day before our arrival

I did not use service. They will not refund money
Contract XXXXXXXXDid not avail myself of service I feel I should be reimbursed since they used my money for their business
