I resolved the issue on my own by contacting my bank and marking the charge as fraudulentDoorDash did not help and has still
not processed the refund that they told me was underway on September 26thThat was, according to subsequent DoorDash reps, a lie, plain and simpleNo explanation has been given for this, and no recompense has been offered for the persistent ineptitude, the gross inconvenience, the outright lying, the misinformation, and the money I've lost to time expended and an inflated phone billI've deactivated my account with DoorDash, despite having used their services on an almost weekly basis for nearly a year, and have warned my friends and colleagues against using their servicesTheir business practices with regards to this issue have been insultingly dismissiveNow that I use other services or pick up my own food, I've subsequently learned that restaurants in my area can't stand them either, and that they treat their vendors with similar disregard.
DoorDash did send me an email today (two full weeks after assuring me that a refund would be completely process) saying that another refund was now actually being processed and would definitely come through, probably in the next few weeksI neither believe that DoorDash is being honest about this latest assurance nor care, since my bank entirely resolved the issue within twenty-four hours, which is less time than it took DoorDash to "escalate" the issue and have a special rep contact me with incorrect information before waiting another full week to correct the mistake.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and note that they are 100% misleading about the business being closed (it wasn't). Only after filing this complaint, and a dispute with my credit card company, did they finally respond to my request to issue a refund as opposed to a credit. They would do better to update their policies to issue a refund (not a credit) when a refund is due
