We appreciate the customer reaching out to us regarding their concernsPer our records, the division's warranty department addressed each item and assessed as follows: 1. The front door was adjusted on two separate occasions on 4/25/and 1/25/The repairs were
completed and accepted by the homeownerThe home is now Out of Warranty 2. D.RHorton's Customer Service Depthas no record of a warranty request for the toilet tank flappers or faucet leaksThese items are warranted for the Builders One Year Warranty period only. 3. The yard was inspected and denied due to the damage caused by the presence of a dog at the residencePhotos taken during the inspection confirm the presence of a dog. 4. Clogs and stoppages in the plumbing are not warrantedThe only request received was 4/25/for a slow draining master tubNo request since for clogs or stoppagesNot Warranted/Out of Warranty 5. Driveways are not warranted and that information is presented to the homeowner prior to closingDriveways, sidewalks and non-monolithic patios are not structural and are not warranted as outlined in the Ten Year Limited WarrantyNo claim request submitted until 10/02/2017, months after closingThe request was denied in writing D.RHorton respectfully denies responsibility for the items listed in this claim

Please accept this correspondence as D.RHorton, Inc.’s (“DRH”) response to the Revdex.com (“Revdex.com”) with regard to the above-referenced complaintI apologize for the difficulties Mr*** feels he has encountered while attempting to resolve his concernsI assure you that DRH strives to provide quality service.It is my understanding that Mr*** successfully closed on this property on or about June 30, Mr*** has contacted the division regarding the hardwood floors in his home previously through a customer service requestAs a result the division is in communication with Mr*** in order to move towards resolution to his request.I appreciate the Revdex.com providing me with an opportunity to respond to Mr*** complaint and its attention to this matter

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.Yes, We have been in contact with *** with D R Horton and *** has been very helpful and responds quickly when we have a concern, we do seem to continue to have communication errors from others with D R HortonWe have been told during this process that to fix an issue right we need to perform certain steps, then they do not follow through, they take the short cut and make a mess doing so I do want to express my gratitude that D R Horton is addressing the issues that we have, but at this time repairs are still ongoing and some issues still remain unanswered and communication on our issues , other than *** is vague at bestI would like to keep moderation of the issues open until such time that the original issues are addressed correctly and that they correct the Issues that have arisen in this process since repairs have began.

I am rejecting this response because:The business called and asked me to submit a quote from a Sod company for them to peruse.They,as before, have stated that they wish to conclude this issue,but until
the work is completed to my satisfaction I will withhold conclusion.When I made them aware I would have my own expert to inspect Sod for proper quality and job application,the suggestion was made for me to attain quote to submit to them.I am working on quotes that will be submitted to DR Horton for approval and payment

Per *** * *** *** a solution has been proposed and acceptedThere was an error with our HVAC contractor with regards to the sizing / equipment used this is being scheduled for repair directly with the ***’sAs part of the solution the ***’s will be reimbursed by the HVAC contractor for excessive electric bills due to the equipment error,

*** *** *** *** contacted me on or about November 3rd and we only came to the agreement that the light switches we previously discussed were replaced and the sub flooring was addressed however not to what I would call satisfactory. The sub contractor that came to replace the switches stated that he was aware they had received a "bad batch" of switches when the initial installation occurred, which in my opinion would prompt the replacement of all the switches. The sub contractor that came out to repair the subfloor in the master bedroom explained to me that someone had previously attempted to fix the flooring after the carpet was installed. He pointed out to me the difference in the type of nails used in the original installation and the type of screw with a "break off head" that is used after the carpet was installed. He utilized wood screws to secure the floor board to the framing and had to drill the screws in at a degree angle in order to reach the framing. While he was doing so and since he had to lift the carpet and underlay I noticed that just at the end of the board he was fastening there is a "gap" that is about an inch and a quarter in width that is filed with "liquid nail". The gap is approximately a foot long from where I could see without lifting the carpet completely. I showed this to *** *** when he came to the residence on the 3rd and explained to him that I did not agree with the poor job done at installing the floor; I pointed out to him what the sub contractor told me about the floor and also showed him where the floor had originally been "tagged" with the orange throw down paint. He stated he needed to bring in the carpet layers and the sub floor workers in order to raise the carpet and see how far the liquid nail fill is in the floor. He did not provide any update on any of the other items I previously listed; I did take the opportunity to show him the inch footing on the rock walls to which he replied he would get back to me on. Today November 9th I received a phone call from Mr*** whom I believe is the supervisor for ***; he mentioned to me that the refrigeration units would be replaced however did not provide a timeline. Again I explained to him my concerns and he mentioned he was told something different on what the status of these items was. None the less we are scheduled to meet at the residence on the morning of the 10th to go over the items once more

because: The builder should not be allowed to build a home where he does not put something as important as gutters on a new home. This is just the worst builder. Would he want his house to not have gutters? Did he even review the picture that I submitted with the water flowing off my house like it's a waterfall?

Ms*** we have been in contact with the homeowner and here is a status of the actions to resolve her issues; Window- homeowner is out of town for weeks, and we could not gain access to inside of house. Homeowner requested that we reschedule for June 22nd, when she will return
homeFront porch- contractor is scheduled for Thursday morning June 11th to jack up the columns, and install new footings under porch columns, then set columns back on new footings. I will then schedule landscaper to repair flower bed around porchDriveway- contractor is scheduled to install addition to driveway that homeowner requested to make access easier to her first garage door on Tuesday, June 16th We will be following up with her during these actions to ensure she is satisfied with the work Thank You, *** *** Customer Service Manager

Please allow this to respond to the complaint referenced above I has investigated the history of Ms*** Revdex.com Complaint. The door was originally installed during construction however, it was the incorrect style. Replacement doors were delivered on several occasions twice with
incorrect hinge spacing, and another time the width was incorrect I contacted the door supplier to have an entire door unit (new doors & new jamb) delivered today, it will be painted & installed no later than September 16, I have also contacted the homeowner directly via telephone & email to inform her of our plan Thank you, *** *** *** *** ***
