Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below
The irrigation timer use of our neighbors remembrance ave is not our concern or businessThey do not have sprinklers working in the walk way of the major floods that I have mentioned and complained about before closing I was given Info before last inspection regarding how low the floor was and the soggy soil, we went back and forth in dealing with the concernI do not understand what my neighbors have to do with my issue, does that also apply to the new home that was just built and there is water standing to a home that no one lives in yet? Is it their irrigation timer also? Or their sprinklers are facing my direction? What is the excuse for that now? Regarding buying the house "as is" I do agree and I understood the contract agreementMy issue is that our family is having g issues days after we moved into the homeI also made sure with the seller and the man that inspect the home with me, before closing, that we notice any flaws in the homeAs I said from the beginning and I will continue saying that the or tiles in front of the main door entrance was the only thing brokenNo tiles upstairs or in the kitchen were brokenTill now tiles are continuously cracking through out the home and that's after closingSo, now that is consider buying the home as is? I didn't buy a home with cracked tiles all aroundIf that's the case I would of bought a home with KB Homes.

In response to the Revdex.com Complaint by Mr*** at *** *** ** that requested repairs to the front doorThe request was denied for the following reasons: 1. The Builder Warranty period warrants against covered defects is for year one only
2. The home is nine years old, and per the warranty the HO is responsible to maintain the doors not the builder or the HOA 3. The HOA recorded Maintenance Chart was checked and front doors fall under “Owner Responsibility”For the following reasons our position remains the same, we must deny the request for repairs to the front doorSincerely, *** ***

Complaint: ***
I
am rejecting this response because:The attached warranty report indicates the issues that I've had with my home with regard to water leaks in various areas of my home (starting on page 10)It is not required that an individual get on top of the roof to see that my home does not have drip edge flashing (see attached photos of a PAID roofer)I've had MAJOR water leaks in various areas of my home with no explanation or proper repairBased on the IRC code - RDrip edge, my home was constructed while the code was enforcedThe City of San Antonio Development Services Department indicated that this WAS indeed a requirement when my home was builtI was told that felt would be added to the roof which should've been done in the beginningUntil this issue is completely resolved, I will continue to be a disgruntled homeowner (you would be also if you experienced water damage days after moving into a BRAND NEW HOME...and then to receive patchwork as a "quick fix..." unacceptable).

Below is our response Mr *** The national average for building a home is to months and longer for smaller custom builders. Your home was started 3/21/16. to months would have your home finished 7/21/to 8/21/16. Your home is projected to be completed 8/26/16. This is right at the national average. The building of your home is progressing in line with every other home being built in America. The Santa Rosa Beach community we are building your home in has a population of approximately $12,people. Unlike big cities like Atlanta, Tampa and Jacksonville there is not a large trade base. The fact that DR Horton can build a home to the national average is an outstanding job by the local building team with the limited trade base available in that area. There are no abdelays in building your home thanks *** * ***

The work being done at the above home is a requirement from the municipalities. We have to comply with their requirements in order for them to take over the streets and release our bond. This has been communicated to the above homeowner by the construction team, and the work will be
wrapping up next week barring delays from the weather Thank you,
