Hello,This is what the account notes show - He called to cancel on 10/12/16, he had one final payment on 10/15/16 of $24.95 plus a $15 cancel fee.  That didn't clear so it added a $25 late fee.  Total of $64.95.When that doesn't clear it leaves the membership open and doesn't cancel...

the account hence on the 2/22/17 we collected $164.75.It also looks like he used the gym in Dec.  So we will refund him $49.90 (via check) for the charges in Jan and Feb, and the $25 late fee. Please note that the check can take up to 30 days to be issued. Sincerely,EOS Fitness

I had a training session that I was assured I could cancel after the first month if I felt I could no longer afford it. After going in several times a month for 3 months(Dec-Feb) to cancel my account, I finally had enough and cancelled my debit card. Payments stopped and when the representative noticed this he assured me it was his doing and the account had been cancelled.

Today I was informed that the recurring charge was never cancelled(Aug)! I was called by a collection agency and was told these payments (from a card that no longer exists) are due and will affect my credit score. I assured them it was a gym error and when I called the gym they told me they would contact me; it's been 2 hours and they still haven't called! I called again and was told the individual responsible was terminated, but this issue still has not been resolved!

If this business was aware of an employee's incompetence, shouldn't they have gone through accounts and reviewed who had and who hadn't been attending during this individual's employment? If they had been honest, wouldn't they see that I hadn't used said sessions in 4-6 months and invite me to use these sessions? I wasn't informed of my sessions, my account still being billed, or this person's termination; now I have $1100 in fraudulent charges about to affect my credit. I look forward to spending my day off trying to rectify the situation in person.

Refund will include December. Total refund of $99.85.
