Outcome: we refunded the months of membership ($each= $59.85) and waived all past due balance on PT totaling $ We also removed from collections

I was never made aware of any contract for personal training I was told I could cancel anytimeWell now that I want to cancel I am told that I am locked into this contract, I’m told I signed a contract I was never made aware you were looking at the computer screen telling this signature popping is a waiver of liability , one was a right to charge my card, never was I told I was signing a contractI tried to be reasonable I said I can’t afford this right now I have medical expenses [redacted] told me what he could do is freeze it for a year and then we could look at itI followed his guidance and now he is saying I can’t get it frozen and because I agreed to it I’m acknowledging a contract and they will just charge meI will never set foot in that gymI was so grossly manipulatedPlease look into thisI was tricked into this never did I sign any contract that I read I was told I was signing waivers of liability

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYMTotal scam, be careful that you are being charged what you agreed toI was charged an annual fee of $55, and I was aware there was annual fee in my contract, but in my contract it actually specified that the amount was $I went to cancel and they tried charging me all sorts of feesbut I didn't remember agreeing to any cancellation fees so I asked for a copy of my contract, turns out I never even signed one or at minimum they knew they didn't have one on file and still tried to get away with itOver the time I spent trying to cancel it I spoke to a minimum of people who all said they were looking at my signed contractThey eventually sent me a contract with my information on it and "MEMBER SIGNATURE NOT OBTAINED" all over it

I noticed EOS took over G [redacted] ***, but only because I was charged $from EOS FitnessAt that time it was ok with me because I was still a memberOn March 20th I spoke with My trainer and His manager to confirm my membership will be cancelled since I will be leaving the country CODY (my trainer) CONFIRMED it will be cancelled once The last charged is processedWhich is the membership fee and trainer feeI was never told of a CANCELLATION FEE or that I had to call member servicesIt is now NOVEMBER and I owe an outstanding amountI had NO idea I was charged from May-November I called to dispute the charge and cancel my membership They were NO helpI had to pay the $first PLUS $cancellation fee in order to have my membership cancelledTHAT'S FRAUD to meI had no idea I was being charged all those months nor did I give them my permission to process any chargesPlease Don't sign the "agreement " Your stuck once you doI will NOT pay for something I did not give permission tooI can't speak with my trainer and his manager as well since they were both firedI Need HELP

I cannot emphasize enough how poor my experience has been with EOS fitness and their billing/management company, ABC FinancialI cannot fault them, and only myself, for agreeing to their terms, but unless you are prepared to commit to paying your monthly fee, for the rest of your life, you will be subjected to cancellation charges, which will also extend your billing charges, and there is zero way to escape them unless you are filing bankruptcy The staff is underpaid and your experiences will varyWhile some, typically younger and enthusiastic, may be helpful and make for some positive impressions, the older and experienced staff all seem to be disgruntled and unwilling to helpIt's a typical gym, with typical equipment, and a revolving door for personal trainers, do not get too attached to any one member as they will be swapped out on you on a bi-weekly basis Be very wary of joining this gymUnethical, unrealistic, and unimaginably difficult to deal with
