My complaint is towards the company’s misguided information, and not providing the service I signed for. In September I spoke to a personal trainer from EOS and was encouraged to sign up for the program. I believed this trainer had superior knowledge and could learn from him. Therefore, I agreed to sign up. During the process I was informed another trainer would do my assessments and the trainer I signed with, would take care of the workout exercises. I had no problem with that. When I asked how long the sessions were before signing up, I was told one hour. I believed the contract was reasonable based on what I was told and moved forward with it. I trained with the trainer for a few weeks, but last week he left the company with no notice. Would I have known that he was going to leave, I would’ve never signed up. When I attempted to cancel, I was told I couldn’t and was assigned to another trainer. I later found out sessions were actually 30 minutes long with the new trainer. T

EOS has been charging me $a month for a year for some person named Dave W [redacted] that I don't know and has made me jump through hoops to get these charges reversedThey admitted the mistake ONLY after I proved my bank card was used by one of THEIR Employees to sign this person up In addition they have charged me $a month for Personal training that I did not sign up forI went in and they showed me the information regarding my account and admitted their mistake but I am getting the run around as to when I will be getting my refunds I looked in [redacted] and made a discovery that several people had the same story and have yet to be refunded

My mom's name is [redacted] Membership number [redacted] The EOS location is in MurrietaShe is 82, on fixed income with diabetes and EOS used extremely aggressive sales tactics to sell expensive trainer when she did not understand the pricing and conveyed she did not think she could afford from what she did understandShe is very upset and worry about collection actions that they threatenedThat in itself does not help her healthWho preys on seniors? What kind of company is this? There is no easy way to contact their corporate officeI work for a consumer financial compliance company and I am sure we can get to the right regulatory agency as well on this issue and I will use my resources if not resolved ASAPPlenty of complaints out there to warrant more investigation

On 2-25- [redacted] signed an agreement to cancel my membership at the Avondale facility with no cancellation fee and sign up at the Downtown facility for $down and first payment is scheduled to be made on 3-18-which includes the $annual fee and the $fee for the amount of $so instead of waiting to pay on the scheduled date I just paid up for it in full on 2-25-on receipt number [redacted] On 3-02-I was charged the monthly fee for the Avondale facility of $so I contacted the Manager(Jared) at the time and he stated to come in and bring my receipts So I went in on 3-10-and spoke with Jared and [redacted] and they both guaranteed me I should receive my money back and when I called back Jared was no longer at the facility anymore and [redacted] was out of the office Than on 4-12-I was charged again for $so on 4-18-I contacted EOS downtown and spoke with [redacted] and explained that I was once again charged for the annual fee of $and

I had to cancel my gym membership due to a medical injuryI was injured on July 3rd and since have not used the gyms facilitiesI was seen at physical therapy on Aug 1st and advised to cancel my membership as I would be unable to use the equipment for quite a whileWhen I spoke with member services they informed me that my billing date is the 28th so I would have to pay for August and SeptemberThe gal let me know that I can use the gym until September 27thI again explained that I am unable to use their facilities due to my back injury yet she did not careSeems to me that this business is taking advantage of my situation to Bill me for extra monthsI am already out their yearly fee which they wouldn't consider refunding or proratingI am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of common sense and customer courtesy

If I could give this place a ZERI would!! First time I came in I wanted to try out the gym to see where it was and the sneaky guy who was touring me around the gym tried to sign me upITS MY FIRST TIME THERE, WHY WOULD I SIGN UP? Soon after I signed up for a free training session to see if I would like the gym with Zach and as we were training he was looking around at women's butts and licking his lips and acting as if he was a God or somethingSmh Ugh, I never had his full attentionI came for a training session, not to be ignored! After half- [redacted] training me he TOO tried to sign me up for real sessions and I REGRETFULLY didAnyway, the lowest package was like and it was for a couple weeks I believeWhen I went to the training the woman took me in and AGAIN she HALF-ASSED her session and yelled at me the entire timeIgnoring my concerns and looking around bored (trying to get over this "stupid" session)She then told me to hop on the stair machine (She was getting ready for a new client "victim" and didn't have time for me anymore) and stay on for minutesWhich I did and then she told me good job and told me to go home (she was in the middle of her next training sessionHalf-assing as usual)Zach (the guy who signed me up) promised he would and she would give me a meal plan ALL OF WHICH NEVER HAPPENED$for minutes of fkery, I THINK NOT! I reviewed the contract and THANK GOD it was within the 3-day cancellation periodLong story short, I got all my money back!! No way I was paying for that bt! Main goal of this was to tell you DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS bt MONEY HUNGRY NON-QUALITY GYM AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, DON'T SIGN UP FOR ANY SERVICES ESPECIALLY TRAINING! IF YOU DID YOU CAN CANCEL JUST READ THE FINE PRINTI DID AND I GOT ALL MY MONEY BACKYOU ALL ARE BETTER THAN THIS.BEWARE!

Back in June I called EOS to cancel my membership which I was told would be taken care of I then realized in August my account was still being charged I went back and forth with numerous personnel before I reached the general manager Diego Diego said he would make sure my account would no longer be charged, cancel my membership, and make sure any fees were reimbursed More than several fees were continued to be charged to my account Diego took care of one and had it refunded to my account The remaining have not been refunded even after all this time Because I was dealing with Diego directly (who is not very easy to reach and doesn't return calls right away) my bank says I am outside the "window" for them to assist me I called EOS AGAIN for Diego to return my call twice and have yet to get a call The charges are as follows: $charge on my account on 7/10/ $charge on my account on 7/21/ $charge on my account on 8/11/ $charge on

In November of 2015, my friend signed us up for EOS Fitness in Tempe which was opening in January, She registered and paid for both of us In February of 2016, there was a misunderstanding about Silver Sneakers so we decided to cancel our membership Since I was working full time and unable to go into the center, my friend cancelled for both of us EOS kept withdrawing payment from her account She talked with them again and they did cancel her membership but kept taking payment for me out of her account until August of when she closed that account I then started getting messages from their financial group that I owed them moneyI talked with someone in October from the financial office I have never been to the gym-I don’t even know where it is! She informed me that I had to cancel it; however, since my friend was allowed to apply for my membership , she should also be able to cancel it

Hello, I am writing this review so anyone that signs up for the four month personal training contract are fully aware of the termsWhen initialing signing up for the agreement they neglect to inform you that you will be charged a full billing cycle after your agreement has endedThis non transparent style of billing is unethicalTrainers are good they are all very knowledgeableIt is unfortunate that this is EOS business style
