The online and phone process was seamless This was by far the best mortgage experience I have ever had This is a shining example of making a complex process simple via digital channels

WARNING DO NOT USE QUICKEN LOANS, OR THEIR ROCKET MORTGAGE, THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES THAT HURT YOUR CREDIT SCORE!!!!
The first has hard check they "disposed"of my information has zero follow through, and wouldn't even give me a name of who in their company deleted my information to be held accountable; second hard check I had to call times to finally get a hold of an agent, which did not give me any of the information I requested at all, did another hard check (with me very hesitant & resistant) assuring me that it would only count as one hard check since it was within a week period, then another agent about a week later tried vigorously to get me to agree to yet another hard check on my credit (which I absolutely refused seeing as this would've been hard checks within a month from this horrible company quicken loans & their rocket mortgage), finally when I realize that it is in fact hard checks I called to have them remove one of them as it was their fault that they disposed of my information (not to mention assured me that it would only count as one) they refused to take off the hard checkI'm okay with one hard inquiry, that's fair, but to be treated like this, and have them do nothing but hurt my credit score and waste my time is absolutely infuriating, I've been nothing but nice, polite, and patient during the while process, even after they refused to correct their mistakes effecting my creditI just want to warn potential customers DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!

They handled every detail very professionallyThey always notified me of things that needed attention in several ways: phone call, e-mail, and on my personal Quicken Loan webpageThey really made the loan process very painlessEveryone I spoke to was very pleasant and helpfulThey were on top of things and would get right back to me if I had a questionI contacted them a few times about questions I had and the answer often was, "Don't worry, we will let you know if we need anything from you." They really took care of most everything needed! I always felt that they were one step ahead of me, anticipating my questions, and answering them before I asked! I felt they were very competent and knowledgeable
We have been in the process of a refi with Quicken for about weeks nowThey gave us an approval letter and we had a conference call with them and our current mortgage companyThey had all documentation and were aware of all circumstances prior to their appprovalAfter the approval, they ordered an appraisal and charged us $ Three weeks later they suddenly tell us we aren't going to qualify and we wouldn't be getting our money backThey were aware of the reason for denial weeks before and still allowed us to continue through the appraisal process and pay the $They should have put the brakes on the moment they were told we didn't meet their qualificationsThey just didn't care that we were out money and time due to their shotty, irresponsible business practicesI would never recommend them to anyoneThey're just out for themselves and ripping people off
