I had no problems with Quicken Loans personnel or procedures Because of my job, I was often unable to proceed through the process on a timely basis All of the reps I encountered were very patient and understanding None of the things that were asked for were out of line and information flowed very well Thanks to me, it took longer than it should but we closed satisfactorily and I was pleased with the results
I was working with another Bank but wasn't happy with the crazy requirements (hand write a letter then fax it) and felt dealing with them would be difficult long term

I just closed on my refinance and have yet to pay my first mortgage payment to Quicken Loans (due March1) but I'm going to speak to the process of getting this farI am a single parent with children (adults now) and own my own modest but sustainable business that I lovePrevious attempts over the past many years to consolidate a first mortgage and a line of credit and lock in a lower interest rate were all met with rejection by various lenders (including I'll add, Quicken Loans) despite a steady and stellar credit historyThe debt to income ratio was always too lowIt's frustrating not to qualify to get that modified but nevertheless, I was regularly rejected so after enough attempts I stopped tryingSo first off, Quicken Loan's salesman was like a bulldog with a bone or a seasoned fisherman with a challenging catch at the other end of the line -- persevered just enough not to put me off but not to lose me so step 1, accomplishedAnd although there were bumps in the road with some of the figures (READ YOUR DOCUMENTS CAREFULLY AND DO SOME MATH TO MAKE SURE THE OFFER IS HELPFUL OR FIND SOMEONE YOU TRUST WHO CAN HELP YOU DETERMINE THAT) , the ability to work through and past them and still close the deal is what prompts me to actually write a review, and a positive one at thatAlso their online system of document sharing was user friendly and helped expedite all the necessary documents required during the processWithout exception, everyone I spoke along the way with was very easy to talk to and did their job wellFortunately I've never missed a house payment in over years of living in my house and I plan to keep up that pattern so I anticipate it will be only smooth sailing going forwardThank you Quicken Loans
For new home buyers I suggest you have quicken representative go over all the paperwork They assumed I knew more than I didEveryone who I dealt with was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable
Everything went pretty smoothly, although I would liked to have had the closing costs explained to me prior to the closing The closing costs seem to be high and I was surprised to see a $charge to get a lower interest rate
