Like most things that you do in life something can go wrongSuch was the case with my Quicken loan process When my appraisal was done things were required to be repaired I became upset and took it personallyBut because this company is so well organized, when I voiced my complaint they had the right person to call meThis man explained to me very calmly and with much wisdom and concern why these requirements were made of meHe even offered a refund if things were done wrongly in the companyI agreed to the repairs,(took my time) and made themNow I have a beautiful home that I am proud of with a mortgage that has a lower monthly note At first I was upset (like many of those who are making complaints on this company), then I begin to think as I was talking to the guy…This is a COMPANY and they are in businessThey want to remain in business The things they are asking me to do are in my favor My loan process was longer than I thought it would be, but it was entirely up to me I chose to take my time and make my repairs This company was very kind to me, especially Bobby GravesI suggest that you keep a positive attitude
We would never recommend Quicken Loans to anyone...they do not stand behind their customers They all must have gone to the same academy of "Quicken Loans" because they all have the same old story We were accepted by them to get our loan but after getting a total runaround we pulled out of the deal and are going with our local credit union Stay with your local loan companies and/or banks Our appraiser came from out of town and didn't have a clue about our market here BEWARE!
Everyone that we dealt with at Quicken loans were very knowledgeable, very helpful & answered all our questionsI would definitely recommend them to friends or Family
I did not like how it went from one person to another person throughout the process I would prefer to talk with one person throughout Even though each person I dealt with was polite & helpful, my preference would be to deal with one person
We just refinance with Quicken LoansGreat experience, the closing was on last January Every body was very professional and easy to talk to They were always attentive to our questions and concernsWe had a good communication during the process
I was disappointed in a couple things;
The customer support person always gave a sterile answer to questions, would not give info on problems or cause of delays, the process took far too long, two rate lock extensions
Not well organized, info that should have been requested early in the process, not requested until after rate lock expired
I am impressed by your system
My overall experience with Quicken Loans exceeded my expectationsThey were very pleasant to work with and made me feel comfortable, and informed, at all times
I've have been with Quicken Loans company for about yearsI've made contracts with them times, each time to my benefit especially since rates came downThey have kept me informed all though the process Their Staff is professional and Courteous, and Patient especially for me since I always ask a lot of questions, emails and phone calls and the website made process quick and understandable

I absolutely LOVE Quicken LoansHave refinanced times with themAlways friendly, extremely helpful reps like Ronald McRae, Alejando "Alex" Sanchez and Dana TumerkanThe only thing I'm not to crazy about is having to do a SURVEY EVERYTIME I ask a questionBut then again, I understand that you need to constantly know that your employees are friendly and helpful
I was back and forth with a loan officer for over a month and a halfFor every home we were interested in he said no problem we were pre-approved and that everything looked promisingWe even received a few pre-approved letters for different amounts depending on the property we were interested in and told the down payment would only be 3%We were so excited! After all that effort and time spent on the phone almost everyday we finally found the perfect home and we were told that someone else would help us and the file was transferredOnce that processor got our information everything changed, now we were no longer approved for what we were told before and we had to give a lot more money down like 20%We could not give that much down so we got disqualified plus they were also adding points which we were told prior there would be no pointsVery upsettingI even spoke to a supervisor a couple of times and expressed how deceived we felt and all she said was she was sorry and that they would look into itI never heard from her againExtremely disappointedI will never recommend them to anyoneRight after, we went to Movement Mortgage and were approved in a few days with 3% down and no problems at all! Don't waste your time with Quicken Loans, it's all a lie! They will deceive youI had to share this so it doesn't happen to anyone else
I feel like they did a “bait and switch “ on usThey lured us in with one rate, and then when the time came toward closing it was a different rate and number of years
Just completed refinance with Quicken and they were the best people with which to deal and kept their word on every dollar quotedLove that won't sell my loan to other mortgage companiesGreat experience!
The estimate was a bit reckless at the beginningThere was some very professional employees and a few customer friendly but need more training so that they can better explain issuesOverall Quicken delivered
We had an excellent experience with QuickenVery fast and efficient yet patient There was no pressure and they gave us plenty of time to review all of the documents before making a decision I would highly recommend
Horrible mortgage companyApplied for a loan and for three months was not told that there would be a cost of $to receive an interest rate that other mortgage companies were offering for freethey ordered an appraisal without proper approval from all borrowers and would not return the $fee after cancellation
