Quicken Loans provided the ultimate in customer service anad responsiveness to us as we went through the process of acquiring a mortgageOur financial situation was complex, and we went in with full disclosure of our past historyPatrick McAuliffe, Greg Gucwa, and MrMAli guided us through every step, and often reiterated the process so that we understood every conclusion and outcomeThere were no questions left unanswered and consistent response times, often within an hour of posting the questionWe are absolutely satisfied with the financial services provided, the accuracy of the estimation of total costs, the transparency of the process, the ease of communication and the consistent and excellent assistance throughout this processOur estimated mortgage payment was accurate to within pennies of our final payment amount! I will and have recommended Quicken Loans to anyone shopping for a mortgage
I have been a happy customer of Quicken Loans for many years In fact I recommended them many times However my views on QL have changed with my most recent events I decided to refinance to a lower rate and take some equity money out to do home improvementsI decided to do a competitive review and not just work with QL to see what is out there I received a great rate and terms from my credit union which I have had great experience with QL couldn't match so the basically said they couldn't assist me with an refinance loan I moved forward with the credit union, closed the deal and paid off the QL mortgage amount When I called to get the pay off amount the women on the phone as great and understood my decision was just business After the pay off was sent to QL, the QL people came at me and my husband like vultures! They have called me and my husband everyday for the past days even though I told them to quit calling me and my husband THey had their chance at keeping my loan but couldn't beat the credit unions rates and now it is a done deal One person tried to get into the terms I had with the credit union, I basically told him it was not any of his business which then he told me I didn't need to be rude about it Today's call I basically asked them (again) to quit harassing me with all of these unwanted phone callsIt seems that QL promotes customer harassment which I am happy to be moved away from QL as my mortgage company and will never go back to them because of this harassment Complete change from six months ago when I would have told others about my great experience being a long time customer Ego or what? QL doesn't like to lose!
Quicken Loans was efficient and responsive through out the entire experienceThey never asked for the same thing twice, nor did they ask for explanations on items not necessaryWe closed on time, with a great rateThe whole process was simple, I could not have asked for better service
I just tried to call Qucken for technical help The man on the phone was impossible to hear and understand: there were multiple people in the same room making phone calls and the man's accent was not comprehensible Very poor technical service

Joe Mathews, (one of Quicken Loan’s Mortgage Bankers) initially answered questions, listened to my comments, approached me with patience, professional protocol, and demonstrated both ethics beyond reproach and candid discussion of my optionsHe followed through until I was completely satisfied and could no longer find a reason NOT to do business with QuickenI was so impressed with many of their team members, but Joe was the most helpful and always demonstrated a “customer is always right” attitude along with helpful advice and information along the way
I could talk endlessly about convenience of a closing at my home, about initial questioning to loan closing in days, or even about how exciting it was to know I was taking a step in the right direction for my financial future, but let me stop talking about me and start talking about Joe Mathews and Quicken! (I was a chance refinance customer translating into a year fixed conventional mortgage from a year Fixed FHA mortgage- this was the first time I had ever talked to or emailed with someone from Quicken, I just happened to reach out to them on a website, and once I began discussion with Joe, he made me aware of all the reasons why I needed to do the refi)
In this era of millennials entering the workforce, Quicken has done it RIGHTThey have communicated with and harnessed passion of their young peopleThat is the challenge presented over and over in America, and Quicken has done it in spades Their use of technology, their (obvious) training program and the excellence of their communication with customers is not only amazing, but a shining beacon of why American Workers are the best in the world and helping to make both Detroit and America Great!!
