I am in my sixties and have purchased homes and refinanced many times This was by far the best experience I have had I was hesitant because it was all done via the internet and mail I was assigned a team of experts in the process and could access them anytime I didn't have to because they checked in with me often I used the Quicken Loans app which listed all paperwork and progress every step of the way It was great to be able to access loan documents anytime I wanted They arranged for a notary to come to my home A few days before the notary arrived I received a package of documents, one for me and one for the notary My documents were in a tabbed folder, each tab listing the document contents Oh, and I got a terrific rate as well Was able to lock it in, and when the appraiser couldn't get it done in time, they extended it at no charge Exceptional service and exceeded my expectations They would be my first call if I needed another loan

I was able to sign most forms online, others I printed, signed and sent a photo or scanned version back. It was so fast and easy! I highly recommend Quicken Loans to everyone! Quicken Loans is a excellent product for non conventional home buyersThis experience is almost solely online or over the phone, which was amazing for meYou use a portal on the QL site to track and submit all documents, which saves a bunch of time running to and from the bank Quicken has competitive rates, but on the fee end at closing can be a little more costlyThe process itself is streamlined and departmental, which means after each step in the process there is someone newAll my reps were very friendly and knowledgeable, however I had problems remembering and tracking all the contact information A side note on this, you will not have the home town feeling of knowing your bankerThis is not a process that really allows you to have a lot of close nit interaction with your loan officersPeople who are craving that close connection to their loan officers might find this process upsetting or hard to deal withI loved the efficiently and ease, and instead formed a close connection with my real estate agent, which worked in my favor Things I loved: -The online process & ability to submit documents -How easy it was find and obtain loan information -How they offered to partner me with a local real estate agent -The high level of standards and ease of use -All the steps in the process Things to Improve -Finding all my reps contact information, I didn't mind dealing with new people and I liked the not fuss or frills atmosphere, just finding the contact information was hard -The phone calls, sometimes I got phone calls asking me how I was doing, other times I felt I was left in the dark while everything was going onIt seemed to be a little disconnected, going into the process lots of support, toward the end not so much -Loading documents into the Portal, just felt a little clunkyI had times where I couldn't figure out how to load information, other times it was very clear and easy Over all I was very happy with the time frame, easy of use, rates, and process of my experience and would definitely recommend Quicken Loans to anyone who is looking for a quick, business oriented loan, Quicken is a great
We had a good experience that was easy to get through. They walked us through all the red tape. We were able to complete everything through the Internet and the closer came to our home for all the final paperwork.
