My refinance process was so smooth and quick with Quicken Loans It is such a great convenience to have the ability to sign documents online, and when a Notary is needed Quicken Loans provides a Notary to come to your home - that is fantastic service! I cannot think of enough positive feedback to describe the service provided by my Mortgage Banker Megan Miller> Megan has excellent customer service, very professional and yet friendly, puts a person at ease She is indeed an asset to Quicken Loans It was a pleasure doing business with Quicken
They all worked with each other to help meet my needs for the loan. I could e mail or call at anytime. Most everything was done my fax or phone which was great.
These people are CROOKS! they told us everything was good with our loan, we paid $to lock in a rate and two days later they came and said “oh sorry you need another $for closing!” When we told them $60,was our max they took the $we paid to lock in our rate! Had they done what they were suppose to do and actually look up the taxes on the home we wanted we wouldn’t have lost out $500! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Save your time and money!!!!
I would highly recommend QLAfter spending frustrating days with Chase Morgage trying to refinance a home equity loan from Chase, I switched to QLThey were very professional, documents were only asked for once, it was easy to review where you were in process of loanAll questions were answered in hoursThe loan complete in days
I love the process that is totally on-line driven except for the final signing which was done at my home (another plus)My only negatives were 1) my closing was delayed by days because the notary was not provided the correct documents needed for my wife to sign which in turn required that I make another house payment which in-turn means I am paying yr interest on $because that was not subtracted from my previous loan balance (although I'll be reimbursed from my bank for the payment my balance on the loan is higher than it should be.) 2) I informed my initial contact person at QL that I did not want costs rolled into my loan and instead would pay cash for closing costsBecause the QL process handed me off to different people at each phase, my request was not passed along and costs ended up in the loan so I required they reprocess IAW my requestWhich they did but again it delayed the process
I have worked with several financial companies and none are as great to work with as Quicken LoansThey are fast and efficientThey almost make getting money too easy out of a refinancing your homeI have referred several people to this companyBoth times we used them we have closed in less than a month

Some of my My wife and I biggest complaints where the fact at the beginning a quote was given to us with no cost at closing neededWe where also told the cost of the appraisal would be refunded back to us Next the appraisal did come back lower then the Morgage banker had guessed it to be, much lower then it should have been for the work we had completedWe where very unhappy about that but we where told that should not effect the closing costs or the appraisal being refunded We didn't find out they where until we where in the middle of the process from the solutions consultant MichaelThe only thing that we changed after that was from a year fixed to a year fixed I had expressed my complaints then to him but he really couldn't do anything to help meHe did explain the process of the refinance that the Morgage banker didn't ever tell us Throughout the process we had to several times ask what's going on because nothing would be worked on our loan Towards the end of the process the costs changed several times with us to keep needing more money to close when I had already let Michael know if we knew up from that we needed money to close we would have never gone through with the process I am very disappointed with all aspects of quicken loans, I will never recommend any friends or family to quicken

Submitted a request online for information and was contacted by a senior loan officer Mike Harri-DuarteI provided some personal details including SS# without my permission he ran my credit, when I inquired why this was done without my consent he told me that it was implied consentI have dealt with several organizations in the past and have never had my credit accessed without my approvalThis company is unscrupulous and wont get my business
We’ve been in our new home for a couple of months now and our enjoyment cannot be complete without thinking of Erin Doyle at Quicken and how we almost didn’t get in. We had options for loan companies from our relocation company and in efforts to obtain the best option, we reached out to a couple of the approved mortgage companies. Erin from Quicken was indeed quick to respond but we chose a more familiar source as this mortgage company had also been who we've banked with for over a decade. It was halfway through the approval process on a home we had fallen in love with that red flags began to go up. In panic, I called Erin and although Erin knew we had chosen another mortgage company she was so very kind and selfless in giving information about some of the detail and requirements from a certain loan program. Who does that? Doing something for nothing? I was amazed and grateful. Fast forward...It was down to the wire on our closing and everything seemed fine with our current bank when it all started to unravel. In desperation, I called Erin again and I still don’t know how she did it but she literally saved our home purchase. Once she took over, using the tools that Quicken had to offer, along with her heroic customer service abilities, not only did we close on the home, the process was smooth and painless. Simply put we love her and owe this home purchase to her and Quicken. I guess my question from Erin would be, which room in our house does she want named after her? A heartfelt thanks, Erin. We are so very grateful. I hope this sincere review helps others to find you. You are a priceless commodity for a home buyer.
I have purchased multiple homes through the years, and refinanced homes multiple times. I would rate Quicken Loans so far above any experience I have ever had. No other mortgage company even comes close. It was so easy. The banker at Quicken Loan made the process simple and fast, we closed our loan in 24 days. I have had other experience with other mortgage companies, where the paperwork was never ending. Quicken Loans was so superior, and had access to most everything that was needed in order to close the loan. I can't say enough how great and wonderful our experience with Quicken Loans was. I would never use any other company for future refinance or purchase's. Thanks Quicken...
