Quicken loans made the whole loan process easy
The only negative was they sent my pay off checks to the house instead of the PO box and I found the checks tied to my gate That could of been a nightmare if someone would of taken them

Quicken helped me get a mortgage when I was told no by other lendersThe myQL feature gives you information on your loan that is so easy to useI always had a direct number to reach someone if I had questionsI was told by many not to use QL but I'm glad I did not listen
My experience with Quicken loans was very positiveIf I have any complaints it would be that I was hoping for a lower monthly payment and more cash back at closingI was told my payments would be 100$ less and I would receive 1000$ at closingMy payments are 50$ less, and I will receive 69$ at closingReally not worth it financially
I can tell you from years of experience that the attitude of the person handling the transaction can make up for a lot of mistakes! No mistakes made by Quicken and their team and they did an excellent job They kept me informed verbally and thru the internet which was user friendly after the first time of use! MrGilbert and his team has come up with an excellent platform that has made these kind of transactions much much easier!

I sought out Quicken Loans to refinance my existing year variable rate mortgage to a year Fixed rate mortgage I worked with Casey Vogel out of their Detroit office He was excellent to work withHe carefully explained all the loan options available to me The loan was closed in six weeks I scanned and uploaded all the documents required to process the loan and loved the simplicity of their site I shortened the period of the loan by five years and almost doubled the amount going to principal compared to my prior loanAll the support people were extremely polite and helpful I loved this experience and would like to give the Quicken Loans team a group hug
Some of my My husband and I biggest complaints where the fact at the beginning a quote was given to us with no cost at closing neededWe where also told the cost of the appraisal would be refunded back to us
Next the appraisal did come back lower then the Morgage banker had guessed it to be,
much lower then it should have been for the work we had completedWe where very unhappy about that but we where told that should not effect the closing costs or the appraisal being refunded
We didn't find out they where until we where in the middle of the process from the solutions consultant MichaelThe only thing that we changed after that was from a year fixed to a year fixed
I had expressed my complaints then to him but he really couldn't do anything to help meHe did explain the process of the refinance that the Morgage banker didn't ever tell us
Throughout the process we had to several times ask what's going on because nothing would be worked on our loan
Towards the end of the process the costs changed several times with us to keep needing more money to close when I had already let Michael know if we knew up from that we needed money to close we would have never gone through with the process
I am very disappointed with all aspects of quicken loans, I made that clear in my survey as well

One of the things I love about Quicken is how convenient everything is - even the actual closing - in my house at a time convenient for me
I would use Quicken again in the future and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family
From start to finish, it was the easiest loan I have ever applied for Everyone was super attentive, answered all my questions and returned calls and emails very promptly
