Quicken was great and it was easy I worked with them online with myQL and never had to leave the house It was a refinance and it was a little more difficult because I am a small business owner, so needed to supply two years of tax returns, but they made it easy Took days from start to finish and the money was directly wired into my accountEveryone was friendly and helpful I most certainly would recommend them and doing everything with myql and working with them through email and phone, everything was documented and I always had easy referral to it If I had any questions I could ask them on myql online and they would answer and/or I could email them and get a quick replyI loved it!! Many good aspects of the process and some very good people trying to resolve issues and answer questions There were some communication breakdowns about the interest rate and some information the day before closing that was disappointing for us I would recommend Quicken to other people because they really worked at helping me and made some exceptions to pull the loan together Thank you Quicken!
Started loan process in Augustwas assured by loan officer that should be no problemHad some student loan debt from my son who was paying for itLoan officer said it would be excluded from debt ratio....waited more days to when it was supposed to close and still no contactQuicken loans said if I pay off $from loan proceeds it would be approvedWhy should I have to wait days and loose $to find this out? Very very unprofessional! Would never recommend Quicken to ANYONE
So as with most folks I was trying to lower mortgage payment and get some cash out of my equity to pay off some lingering billsAlthough I did end up closing with QuickenLoans I wouldn't do it again
They were not totally upfront with me with my refiThey ended up buying down my interest rate and did not tell me that's what they were doing(I read it in the refi statement)In the end my APR ended up being more than when I started the process with themAlso it took me nearly months to close all the while they told me it wouldn't take longThey say it was because of an appraiser delay(apparently the appraiser decided to not file his report after already coming to my house for the appraisal) but I'm looking into whether it was actually the appraisers fault or QuickenLoans just dragged it out and ordered another appraisal

After being told we was approved and them taken $out of my bankand nobody even came to see the place
and know fighting to get my $back
