I was back and forth with a loan officer for over a month and a halfFor every home we were interested in he said no problem we were pre-approved and that everything looked promisingWe even received a few pre-approved letters for different amounts depending on the property we were interested in and told the down payment would only be 3%We were so excited! After all that effort and time spent on the phone almost everyday we finally found the perfect home and we were told that someone else would help us and the file was transferredOnce that processor got our information everything changed, now we were no longer approved for what we were told before and we had to give a lot more money down like 20%We could not give that much down so we got disqualified plus they were also adding points which we were told prior there would be no pointsVery upsettingI even spoke to a supervisor a couple of times and expressed how deceived we felt and all she said was she was sorry and that they would look into itI never heard from her againExtremely disappointedI will never recommend them to anyoneRight after, we went to Movement Mortgage and were approved in a few days with 3% down and no problems at all! Don't waste your time with Quicken Loans, it's all a lie! They will deceive youI had to share this so it doesn't happen to anyone else

We have owned multiple homes throughout our years and I have to say, that Quicken Loan was the smoothest refinance ever!!! We were kept up to date on the progress and the professionalism of the staff was fantastic!!! Plus, when they say Quicken Loans, they are quick and they mean it Our loan closed within days and if we ever need another loan down the road, believe me, QL will be my one and only call

My experience with Quicken Loans was mixedThe rate I received was very good and all of my initial questions were answered quicklyHowever, it took almost months to finally close on my loan and the projected loan amount fluctuated regularly without a clear explanation as to whyI refinanced my current mortgage so that I can pay it off years earlier but the closing costs seemed pretty high
