I first contacted Quicken on a whim, not at all sure they would be able to work with me on my re-finance needsHowever, the representative, Derek Kinney, was a wealth of information and good suggestionsHe answered every question I had, presented the three best options, and helped with my culling process
The business they used for the appraisal was fast, efficient, professional, and accurate
The loan closed in under four weeks
As everything turned out, I got a lower interest rate, a lower monthly payment, and a nice check
I would DEFINITELY recommend Quicken Loans for a re-financeSpecifically, if you can get Derek Kinney as your contact, do it
Overall, Quicken Loans offered a good process, but in need of polishing if they are to advertise about their speedI did find Quicken to be a better option than our credit union because their closing fees were lower by $and I got a lower rate for the same loan
Two Issues:
1.) The client service coordinator did not look into our file to verify if they had received all our paperwork, and then called us to notify us that it was never sentThis was not trueI asked her to check, she stated she did and it was not sentI forwarded her an email from Quicken showing that the document WAS sent, as verified by their officeThis sounds trivial, but this was on her plate and she did not process the papers on time, resulting in a day delay in closing our loan
2.) Also I had to call Quicken to request a phone call from the notary to confirm closing timeQuicken left me a phone message with the notary's phone number and told ME to "reach out to" the notaryThis is not customer service!
While those communication issues were irritating, the overall loan process was efficientI submitted a review to Quicken and hopefully they will address those issues so the next customer will have a more seamless experience
I just closed on a house and was more than pleased with the process thru Quicken The only problem was the Title company my agent wanted me to use instead of Quickens preferred companies Submission of document was easy and response was almost immediate through out the process
Everyone on the entire Quicken staff that I had dealt with, worked tirelessly, acted professionally, and swiftly in completing my refinance within days…It was truly amazing! I was told that I probably was one of the fastest customers to have closed a refinance in under two weeks I would recommend Quicken Loans to anyone who asks, or even speaks of buying /refinancing within earshot of me!!

The Quicken Loans Team for my mortgage-Dewayne Kassab and Reba Williams were always accessible, the ease of communicating with them for clarification and requirements definetly expedited the application/approval process
I worked with Kristina House and Tiffanie Ellout-Brooks and they were great Extremely responsive and knowledgeable to guide us through the loan and relocation processQuicken Loans got us a package that was .5% below other agencies

Purchasing a home is one of the most stressful experiences in the current environment My husband and I choose Quicken to make a long distant transaction easierAdam Altenburger was our initial contact person and he was superb! We also give William Wilson kudos as well Of course the days of sitting across a desk from a loan officer are nearly gone we did adapt to the online upload process Quicken did process all our documents extremely fast and were in constant contact with updates The real estate office was sceptical and not terribly happy that we were using Quicken but I doubt id they can find a bad thing to say about the transaction We felt we received a fair rate We had this confirmed when we were having closing papers notarized at our local and the local banker said what a great rate we received and that had this been done locally they could not match the rate

This current mortgage is to replace an earlier mortgage from quicken Loans applied for July The interest rates requested at that time was the same lowest possible rate requested in this mortgageQuicken was unable to grant this rate at that time and contacted us to offer a lower rate approximately a year laterI see this as a correction rather than a new mortgage
We have closed twice with Quicken Loans and find the process quick, easy and basically painlessWe Will recommend them to friends and family without hesitation
