I am shopping around for a and spoke with an individual at Quicken Loans yesterdayAfter providing all of my information and allowing them to run a credit report, the customer service agent provided me with information on a year optionI asked for the numbers for and year and was told that the best plan for me was the After repeated requests for the and year rates and repeated requests to speak with a manager, he finally told me the ratesOver the course of our conversation he told me that based on my credit report, he was in a better position than me to make a decision about my financesAfter terminating the call, a "lead" called to try to resolve the issue and, when told that I had no intention of doing business with Quicken Loans, suggested that they could offer me "the best rates and all the discounts." After I terminated that call by clearly stating again that I was not going to do business with them, the original person called backAgain, I reiterated my intent not to do business with them and terminated that callThis morning, I received an email from the original person asking me to check out all of his positive customer reviewsI replied by requested that he cease communications with meSince then, I have had several people involved in "client experience" and social media contact me and offer to discuss options with meI shared with her what happened yesterday, reiterated my intent not to do business with them ever, and hope that that will be the end of itTo be fair, when I told the last person I spoke to what I was told by the first person, she did seem very understanding and genuinely apologetic
I began applying for a mortgage wit Quicken Loans and was pre-approvedI was immediately contacted by a Senior Purchase Banker, who asked me to submit some more documents to verify the information I gave and move forwardI informed him that I was not quite ready to begin taking the next steps, as I was merely curious about the amount I could borrowI kept getting more calls, texts, and emails (several a day) pushing for more meetings to continue the application process, even after telling them I did not need assistance and to leave me aloneFinally, after a few days of harassment I called their client relations team to withdraw my application, and to notify the company of this employee's behaviorThis was handled very well, or so I thoughtI continue to get calls from them (now blocked)Very unprofessional
