I am pleased with my experience I would have preferred to have dealt with only one person for the entire process that way we are always on the same page with questions and answers received Too many people were involved in the process I was so unhappy with the bank that had my loan I was happy to look elsewhere to refinance my loan Todd Sklarek was wonderful to work with and I would have been 100% satisfied if I could have gone from start to finish with just him
WARNING DO NOT USE QUICKEN LOANS, OR THEIR ROCKET MORTGAGE, THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES THAT HURT YOUR CREDIT SCORE!!!!
The first has hard check they "disposed"of my information has zero follow through, and wouldn't even give me a name of who in their company deleted my information to be held accountable; second hard check I had to call times to finally get a hold of an agent, which did not give me any of the information I requested at all, did another hard check (with me very hesitant & resistant) assuring me that it would only count as one hard check since it was within a week period, then another agent about a week later tried vigorously to get me to agree to yet another hard check on my credit (which I absolutely refused seeing as this would've been hard checks within a month from this horrible company quicken loans & their rocket mortgage), finally when I realize that it is in fact hard checks I called to have them remove one of them as it was their fault that they disposed of my information (not to mention assured me that it would only count as one) they refused to take off the hard checkI'm okay with one hard inquiry, that's fair, but to be treated like this, and have them do nothing but hurt my credit score and waste my time is absolutely infuriating, I've been nothing but nice, polite, and patient during the while process, even after they refused to correct their mistakes effecting my creditI just want to warn potential customers DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!

Like most things that you do in life something can go wrongSuch was the case with my Quicken loan process When my appraisal was done things were required to be repaired I became upset and took it personallyBut because this company is so well organized, when I voiced my complaint they had the right person to call meThis man explained to me very calmly and with much wisdom and concern why these requirements were made of meHe even offered a refund if things were done wrongly in the companyI agreed to the repairs,(took my time) and made themNow I have a beautiful home that I am proud of with a mortgage that has a lower monthly note At first I was upset (like many of those who are making complaints on this company), then I begin to think as I was talking to the guy…This is a COMPANY and they are in businessThey want to remain in business The things they are asking me to do are in my favor My loan process was longer than I thought it would be, but it was entirely up to me I chose to take my time and make my repairs This company was very kind to me, especially Bobby GravesI suggest that you keep a positive attitude
I did not have a positive experience this time around I had refinanced for a home equity loan and they asked me for duplicate documents, multiple times, kept delaying the process for requesting the same thing over and over and took more than 3months to refi a loan already held with quicken loans Then the clerk who was suppose to close did not show and did not call delaying more days In the end QL did come through but after I was really agitated and angry with them I almost stopped the process at the closing because of frustration I got a call from customer service rep is the only thing that made me reconsider
At first everything was flowing perfect, but we hit a bump on the road; any other lender would have closed the doors but Quicken Loans actually understood the situation and allowed a legal resolve to enjoy the fixes that are going to be made on the house
QL gave the best mortgage rate among three other lendersThe communication was great and very professionalBoth their mortgage brokers and customer service reps are very proactive and help us a lot throughout the processTheir immediate response to questions and issues either through message/mail or phone calls are highly appreciatedTheir online document request/compilation system is very beneficial for smooth processWe purchased our house with Company's Relocation Assistance program and QL collaborated well with the Relocation Company and our realtorOnly minor issue that I can share is, QL requests proof of payoff statements/activities through both where it was paid off and which account is being paid offDouble checking the activityIt makes sense for some transactions but may delay the process due to waiting for end of month statements Overall I am highly satisfied with QL and definitely recommend to anyone

I called to request a good faith estimate for the refinance of my investment propertyI said assuming excellent credit, low DTI, low ltv and sufficient income to cover the debt, what could they provide for APR and closing costsPretty simple IMOBoth the mortgage banker and customer service rep were not helpful and would not provide me with ruff numbers to move forward without a hard credit pullHow am I supposed to make an educated decision? Whatever happened to the customers always right? I work in the industry and can tell you these tactics are not good qualities for a successful company image or gaining a customer baseVery dissatisfied
Getting a mortgage is a big deal and can be extremely overwhelmingBut the entire team we worked with made it as painless as possibleWe had a few high stress points but in the end solutions were found and everything was overcomeI can’t say enough good things about the quicken loans teamThank you again! Definitely will use them In the future!
