Fiverr, Inc. Reviews (603)

We have reviewed the complaint opened by [redacted]. [redacted] reported this issue to our Customer Support team in ticket request #[redacted]. As mentioned in our Terms of Service, "Withdrawals from your account may become disabled upon review of our Trust & Safety team. This may be done for...

security concerns in order to prevent fraudulent transactions, reported poor performance or violations to our Terms of Service from buyers to our Customer Support team, or if another Fiverr profile is associated to the same withdrawal providers. Enabling withdrawals will be evaluated by our Trust & Safety team following a review of your account." We received reports from [redacted]'s buyer regarding poor performance on their order. Our Support team advised [redacted] to continue to work things out with their buyer until this issue has been resolved. [redacted] was rude with to our Support team when trying to help [redacted] to reach a mutual understanding with his buyer.  After further review of [redacted]'s account, we have restored his withdrawal feature, he has also been updated in his ticket request #[redacted].

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Fiverr keeps saying that they have opened a ticket and asked me to respond. Yet I have NOT RECEIVED an email or a phone call from FIVERR. So they are sending it to someone else or they are lying about creating some sort of ticket. I have checked my SPAM folder, My Junk Folder, My Deleted items folder and of course my In Box for anything from Fiverr or [redacted]. They have sent NOTHING. If I was an actual customer then they should be able to reach out to me. They have not because I am not associated with them at all. I am filing a Police Report this afternoon stating that Fiver.com has stolen $1969.25 directly from my [redacted] account and I will continue to file Complaints against Fiverr until this matter is resolved. God forbid they try and reach me at the email address I have provided, or call me at the number I have provided, or send me mail at the address  I have provided.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

As per Julia explanation, I agree, I have violated Fiverr agreement. However, Fiverr holding my "completed" project revenue without submitting valid evidence saying client's complaint. Legally I have completed those two projects within the mentioned time frame and the project draft already uploaded for the first order and the second order client agreed for delivering after making this as complete. because of nature of this business ( writing business plan require much time and it may receive continues draft & corrections).Again, if the customer has any issue with my order then they can contact me via Fiverr message or file dispute via Fiverr. But, Fiverr independently contacting me to cancel the order even I have delivered my work and the second work draft already submitted as a proof to Fiverr. How can I trust them they will just cancel the second order even if I delivered the service like I did for earlier ( I have submitted both projects business plan via Helpdesk as a proof and they know I did the work, even they are not ready to release my own earning either asking me to deliver or cancel )Conclusion: Fiverr is now breaking their own rules if client has any concern let them contact me first or release my earnings that you don't deserve to hold legally.

Summary: If you deposit money with fiverr as a buyer of service, you will not be able to withdraw it if not used.
Detail
I created an account on fiverr to have a website built. I posted a project and selected a vendor. I authorized payment for Fiverr to escrow until the project is done, so Fiverr withdraws money from my credit card.
Weeks go back and the vendor cannot deliver on time. I extend the deadline but she ultimately requests to cancel the contract. Almost a month wasted of my time explaining requirements, managing IT infrastructure to allow vendor to do work, etc but that's fine. The payment is now refunded and sits in my Fiverr account.
I post the project again and hope to give another Fiverr vendor a chance to deliver. No one responds. So I decide to give up on Fiverr. Now I just want to withdraw my balance from Fiverr.
There seems to be no way to do this. I then emailed them to ask how this can be done. No answer. I then create a trouble ticket through my account asking to withdraw my balance. I get an automated response saying they will reply within 1 business day. I wait 3 days, and still no answer. I send them another polite trouble ticket request, this time telling them that I will call my credit card to recredit me and deny payment to them if I don't get a reply within 24hrs. No answer.
Ultimately, I got credited from my credit card. So at least make sure you have credit card protection if you use Fiverr. You may have less options for recourse if using a debit account.

We have looked into [redacted]s request and we have gone ahead and canceled the order. The funds have been refunded back to her payment provider including the processing fees. If she needs further assistance or concerns regarding the refund we welcome her to follow up with us in her request #[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Thank you for your response. The solution you have provided is generally adequate. However, your policy for the 14 day review is incorrect. The last successful order and payment made through Fiverr is dated before 02/**/16, meaning today 02/**/16 is well over the 14 day waiting period. A demand for payment letter postmarked to your address in New York may serve as evidence of this date or to verify this schedule I am proposing. If I must wait 45 days for this clearance you are talking about I will, but waiting an additional 14 days is unreasonable at best. I am requesting this process be expedited and that payment be made before 04/**/16. Any subsequent delay will and I will proceed by taking legal action. Additionally, if I am made to resolve this issue through you customer care center, I will require priority support from your team. Delays in communication due to traffic will not be considered as an excuse for a delayed response nor a delay in payment (release of funds).

We have reviewed the response sent in by [redacted]. As outlined in our Terms of Service ([redacted]), users with disabled accounts must wait the mandatory 45 security phase before contacting us to request to withdraw their revenue. [redacted] has been notified in a previous response on when he can contact us again and is unrestricted from contacting Customer Support, due note that we will not further correspond to the question of why his account was disabled as he was previously notified by Customer Support.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
In the above mentioned complaints I asked specifically what were acceptable gigs to create.I asked repeatedly.  There was no direct answer given. As of today, these gigs created after mine, less successful remain up, and active. In addition these NEW gig are active and searchable. All of these are "promotional" social marketing gigs: [redacted]Here's an example of why this is frustrating to me, and there is MORE:
New Member since April 2015: [redacted]
She's almost BRAND NEW!  How would she still be up. How does fiverr decide who they allow to stay up, who is offering the same gig I was, and came on years after me? Why was I singled out? I still have NO answer for that. That means I was or am/ being discriminated against, personally. In order to appease fiverr, and keep my account active -- I created different gigs, proofreading, ad creation, other specific promotional gigs, such as marketing an athlete- something I have done, and am great at -- wen fiverr decided to completely remove me without proper warning- NONE of my new gigs were appearing anywhere. So my effort at creating NEW gigs as requested was in vain. I then asked, if ALL my other gigs were not acceptable? And they once again referred to the "editiorial focus". I then asked, How is my proofreading gig, or creating an ad not in the editorial focus, to which I was told. I was now TOTALLY out of search, and had to wait 15- 30 days to "hopefully" be placed back in. Why? I broke no TOS, NONE of my gigs were ever denied, (if they had been maybe I would not have tried to created new similar ones), I had NO lates, I have a great reputation as a seller, and I have made fiverr decent money - respecting the forum, and venue since 2012.
To penalize me, by taking ALL my gigs out of search, even NEW acceptable ones. Such as my proofreading, or writing an ad, or athlete promotion, is brutal, and unfair. It's not the way to treat a seller who has done nothing truly wrong other than ask questions, because of being confused at what appears to be a double standard.I asked in my complaint, that my name and new gigs, appear in the search and accurately- such as 24 hours, new etc. fiverr did not address that query, as such, this complaint is NOT resolved satisfactorily.I don't think I should havet to wait 15-30 days to be placed back - with my new gigs. as I DID nothing wrong, or against TOS, other than ask questions. I was given no warning before being told I was now out of search completely.

I am now asking that my name and new gigs be placed BACK in search before 15-30 days as they were removed without just cause or warning and I did nothing wrong, and had no warnings or doing anything wrong. No denied gigs, nothing.

We have reviewed the response given by [redacted] and have previously addressed his initial request of restoring his account. As confirmed through his correspondence to Fiverr, [redacted] has stated through written threats to Fiverr and its customers by blackmailing Fiverr with the threat to conduct fraudulent transactions on the site and defamation through published articles in order to restore his account. Excerpts includes, "You have 24 hours to OPEN MY ACCOUNT BACK. Otherwise  Let's start the Fight". "I will show you How I will scam the each Super Seller and Top Seller or even Level 1, Level 2 for 500$ Services. I am blackmailing you, blackmailing your Admins. blackmailing your All Start Members." Fiverr has corresponded with [redacted] off of this Revdex.com complaint and will continue to communicate with him in relation to the recorded incident.

We have reviewed [redacted]s complaint. Unfortunately we are unable to locate the ticket number where she contacted Customer Support or the order, as she has not provided it on here. We ask that [redacted] please provide us with the order number, ticket number submitted to Customer Support, and...

the email address associated with her Fiverr account. That way we can have the necessary information to review this complaint further. She can reach out to Customer Support through the following email address [redacted].

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I do not understand why my account was targeted, I am including screenshots of the website right now showing a lot of users promoting their sales and nothing has happened to them. There are nothing but pages and pages of people selling their stuff in the exact same area that I have sold in. I had excellent reviews and made money quite quickly with how efficient I was in working and everyone was proud of my work. I just want my account back because I worked hard to earn what I earned, I want my money and I want my account.

We have reviewed the complaint opened by [redacted]. At this time we are communicating with [redacted] in their Request [redacted] regarding their order with the seller. [redacted] sent in her Revdex.com complaint at the same time as she sent the ticket, so our Customer Support team was not given any...

time to respond, before the Revdex.com complaint was sent. If additional assistance is needed, we would advise to have [redacted] continue following up with us in their ticket.

We have reviewed the complaint opened by [redacted]. Originally contacting us on May ** regarding his order, Fiverr Customer Support asked [redacted]'s to communicate with his seller in order to reach a mutual understanding regarding the service he has purchased. [redacted] contacted us again when no...

agreement was reached on May **. After further review, we have cancelled the order for [redacted], and returned the funds to his credit card.

We have reviewed the response sent in by [redacted]. As stated in our Terms of Service under the section Abuse and Spam: "Multiple Accounts - To prevent fraud and abuse, users are limited to one active account. Any additional account determined to be created to circumvent guidelines, promote competitive advantages, or mislead the Fiverr community will be disabled. Mass account creation may result in disabling of all related accounts. Note: any violations to Fiverr’s Terms of Service is cause for permanent suspension of all accounts". Upon reviewing the customer's orders, order history, and electronic activity originating from her account, our Risk management team disabled the account based on clear indications of fraudulent behavior that may harm other users on the site and are in violation of our terms of service as quoted above. The ability to withdraw funds was temporarily suspended from [redacted] account based on her account activity and is clearly mentioned in our Terms of Service to prevent further abuse and will be allowed to withdraw her revenue after the designated time period communicated to her.

We have previously outlined the course of action [redacted] is required to take in order to receive a full refund from Fiverr. The necessary actions for Fiverr to offer the refund provided to [redacted] were not taken to rectify his original complaint. We reject the claim that we have not complied or attempted to resolve his complaint which originated from [redacted] violating Fiverr's Terms of Service. As an act of good faith, his Fiverr account was restored, however the complaint sent to the Revdex.com in relation to refunding the $20 he purchased through Fiverr can not be resolved by Fiverr due to the course of actions taken by [redacted]. Any further communication [redacted] may have regarding this issue is encouraged to go through Fiverr's Customer Support and not through a follow up Revdex.com response as the original complaint has been resolved in his favor.
