am rejecting this response because:It is unacceptableI contacted my bank and was advised they only had the name and the company; no other informationAlso someone from SquareTrade contacted me (I still have the email) stating they would provide this information if I provided them with the last of my card number and transaction information in which I did and never received a replyIf I am stating a charge is fraudulent one would assume the company providing the service would wan to assistI will be taking this to the regulatory agency and file charges against not only this Tom person but also Square Trade for being irresponsible in verifying their vendors don't commit criminal acts as well as promoting this type of fraudI must also mention that the following day our bank alerted us to another potential attempt to charge outlr account from CaliforniaI would ask that Square Trade take some responsibility in the matter.Sincerely,*** ***

Square keeps Insisting the letter isn't sufficient when it clearly states that they were recharging the customer and after their investigation found the transaction to be validStop aying this is the customers bank when it is not! I have now attached the customers credit card statement which clearly shows the transaction being reinstated to her!!!! It is also on the same date as the letter *** that the charges are reinstated to the customer.!!!!Additionally, I had a conference call with the customer and Barclay bank who is the customers bank and they even said that they were not holding or rejecting the funds for any reasonthey sent the funds to Square which should have been sent to my bank accountSquare is the issue hereThe customer has been recharged which I have now proven in separate examplesThe letter, the customers CC statement and the phone conversation with the customers bank and the customerI want the monies owed to me. Square's answer does not address my complaint Yes my merchant account was cancelled by them - that is stated in my complaint Yet on *** ** *** on an account that was cancelled by Square's own statement at least two months before - Square withdraws $*** (my mistake I stated $*** in my complaint) with no explanation either via my or more attempts to reach their customer service nor in their reply to this complaint My complaint is solely about being charged a fee for a service I no longer have with no explanation and no attempt either via their own customer service or in this responds to address the sole issue I want the $*** fee refunded and maybe even an apology.
Below is a copy of the transaction line Why is Square taking $*** from a closed account? Please Square responder - address the complaint and do the right thing

Since you had a few incomplete Cash payments, they do count towards your weekly sending limitTherefore, you will need to wait a few more days before you can send this amount again

Square "deactivated" my account at their discretion and without even contacting me or the invoiced party, which automatically cut all communication off. The last I heard from them was that they will be holding my money for 90+ days! They also need to look how the "refund" is worded, because it sounds like they have days to play with the money
If my client could have paid by cash or check it would have been done first. As I have said before this has hurt two businesses and we are spreading the word regarding Square collecting interest on customers money. If they were so concerned with my client wanting to reverse the charge, they should have done it at the time they paid themselves

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: while I am indifferent about whether my account is reinstated or not, the $** credit that I redeemed for this device should be transferred to the bank account on record or a refund be issued for the device. Square is saying that they will hold my $** credit set for deposit to my bank account for days or even longer with determinate limit, which is effectively the equivalent of them telling me that they will not release the funds in my account.
